Yes, we have been very blessed with rental in our unit and no I was not able to get my normal cleaning company of Stanley Steemer to come in or another carpet cleaning firm but they could of come on Monday. I told them it would be only a few hours of wet on the carpet to dry and they would have to wear flip flops but to them it was totally unacceptable. Yet they were hardly in the unit enjoying the beach, pool etc... My cleaning person is great and the unit was cleaned prior to them entering, I do not allow anyone to come in until it is clean and she takes well the pictures in documenting everything of what she had done. The sheets we cleaned and I don't believe this renter. He never reported this to me only saying this now. When it came to the AC, this renter only told me about the issue 3 days later of which, I called immediately the company that we have a contract with Elite of which they came out within the hour and said, no it's not your AC unit that there are other companies out too at our complex. I called everyone of authority at our complex and no they were not helpful. This did cost me $224. This renter also keep the AC at 72 F never letting the unit have a down time to (cool) off. Waiting 3 days to contact me, this renter could of blown up my unit and being it is a complex, I could of caused major damage to our neighbors down below. Yes, I told him this. I do give a very detailed information sheet to all who rent from me and I specifically tell them please contact me for ANYTHING and I do mean it. I charge very little compared to what other owners do and not because of it being outdated, I do my own rental, no mortgage and I rather have rental than non as the other owners complain bitterly why they can't get anyone. The pictures of our unit clearly shows it faces the front of the building which is facing the Gulf of Mexico we sit on the intercoastal side and Midnight Pass is in front of us and then other condos and then the Gulf, so they knew .This renter was Canadian and I tried numerous time to contact him through e-mails while down there and he would not response, as that is the only way, I was able to communicate with him. I literally had to have our neighbor next door put sticky notes on the door to get any response. I more than went out of my way to please this renter but as they say can't please everyone. I am not at all upset that they are not coming back next year as their time has already been taken by other renters.

Wow- It's a good thing, I have the recordings of the conversations and a picture she took on the beach and sent to us. When, Patti inquired about renting our unit she said, *need an escape from this maddness" and *excited to escape*. One would assume this is because of Covid and the lock down but she never said, she was dealing with a personal crisis. On Saturday, August 17 at 8:01 pm she sent us a picture of the sunset while on the beach and never said, a thing about * Red Tide* and my response was beautiful. I do not get the newspaper and usually our management, board or other neighbors would say something and no one did about *Red Tide*. I was not aware of it. This is *Mother Nature* and I can't do anything about it and no I would not be refunding her and yes she can leave at anytime. Our cooling tower on the roof of the complex, one of them, needed a part that was on back order for 3 months and it finally came in and without notification the company came. I was not made aware of this by our management only by other neighbors. I texted Patti several times and she would not responsed. I said, if your not there I do have to have someone come in to re-set our A/C unit and check if everything is okay. That when she finally texted me with half answers and said, she was still there of which, I replied this is our unit and I have to make sure because of our neighbors down below. When, our cleaning person came in to clean after her stay what a mess she arrived too. Patti purposly broke the level to the toilet as she was leaving. She would never been able to use the toilet if it was broken during her stay. She took pictures off the wall just because and left them to be re-hung along with wind-chime on the patio. She purposely splatted cooking grease all over the kitchen counters, wall and stove. At best our cleaning person does 3 loads of laundry, she had to do over 6 loads and she also put the A/C to 65 so it would never shut off. She well harrased us to come in several day earlier than what she paid us for, I told her we very much had another renter in there and maybe could give her (Saturday) but the cleaning person can't clean till the afternoon. She kept harrasing us to see when she was done because she didn't want to pay for a hotel and gave her to her * free*. At $500 a week, divided by 7 days is $71.43 a night, she could not be paying that any hotel and get a full apartment (fully stocked) like she did. We are not a hotel/resort.
