We spent 5 nights at Oscar's by the Sea with our family with young kids. There was so much space to play for our kids, they loved staying there. We appreciated the clean rooms, the great view, the clean and good equipped kitchen and the possibilty to do our laundry. We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful, wonderful place! Also the communication with Chris was very good. Thank you again for having us.

Great place to stay near Belfast

Excellent location near the ocean. The house was perfect, close to the train to take to Belfast, plenty of room and near all restaurants and pubs.

A lovely house which is nicely positioned on the seafront with splendid views. It has been well renovated by the owners and was warm and cosy in the evening when the weather turned chilly. The outdoor seating area got the sun in the late afternoon and was ideal for a drink whilst watching the world go by. There are good walks in both directions along the coast and the train station is handy for venturing into Belfast. Top tip - if your children are squabbling ask them to fetch something from the fourth floor bedroom, it’s a long way up!

Amazing Family Stay

We had such a fantastic time. Honestly, one of the best experiences we’ve ever had staying at a property. The location is great, the Victorian townhouse has such amazing views and is so comfortable. I wish we could have stayed!

Bangor Seaside

The property was lovely and the location was great. The hosts quickly responded to questions. We would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Stayed 4 nights with family of 7. Beautiful waterfront views and very walkable to local amenities, pubs and restaurants. Chris and Sara were very responsive hosts to our requests and needs. Very thorough guide in the house for local information which was helpful and appreciated. Would definitely return.

Beautiful home and Fabulous location!

Really enjoyed this home! A beautiful home with a lot of space for 10-12 guests. Amazing views of the water. Located in a coastal town with shops, restaurants. Short drive to Belfast.

Gorgeous home, views and location!

Absolutely lovely

Highly recommend- easy walking to shops and restaurants and the train. The Chris and Sara were so kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Location/Gorgeous view

We were looking for a place to stay and host extended family. Oscar by the Sea was perfect! Conveniently located, well appointed, with comfy beds and a great view. We enjoyed walks on the seawall, visiting Ward park and hosting family. Good restaurants and coffee shops near by. Hosts were easy to work with and very accommodating.

Amazing Stay

Our family of 10 had a great stay, 3 couples & 4 children. Plenty of room, loved the house and the location. We didn’t have problems with parking our 2 cars. Well done Chris & Sara hopefully we get back sometime. Thank you 😀👍

Seaside Gem

Charming seaside property. Amazing views! Perfect for our multi generational family of 11. Very well appointed, with everything we needed. Communication with the owners was extremely easy, they responded promptly to my inquires, We would definitely recommend Oscar’s by the Sea.

Gorgeous View

Chris & Sara were gracious and courteous hosts. The property is as described and pictured. The views from the front of the house are amazing! The property had plenty of space for our 2 families with a total of 8 adults. The coastal walking path was beautiful. There are plenty of lovely cafes nearby. I highly recommend Oscar's By The Sea and hope to return in the future.

Great property close to the marina

We were sailing in the Bangor Regatta so the location was perfect being close to the marina. We were a group of eight singles and in the VRBO listing it stated eight beds (six double and two single) but found there to be one double short. On speaking with Chris & Sara they were not aware of the error in the VRBO site (now amended)as it had not been an issue in the past. Chris sorted it out and delivered a bed round so it was not a problem. The property has great views and was very roomy and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and Chris and Sara could not have been more helpful.

Multi generation Oscars

Had a grand week at Oscars. Plenty of space and really well equipped the property catered easily for the three generations holidaying. Location is near perfect. Many thanks to Chris and Sara.

Perfect stay

We could not fault a single thing in this property. Perfect location, amazing views. House was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The property managers Chris and Sara were so helpful and accommodating. In my opinion this is the best house to stay in when visiting Bangor.

Amazing property

The photos don’t do this house justice - amazing views and large rooms made this a perfect house for our large family- the owners Sara and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful in firstly rebooking us due to COVID and then allowing an early check in - thank you - this will be our first choice for any future family gatherings

Bangor beautie

Great location. Beautiful views. Parking wasn't great but we knew that. Walking distance from pickie Park and town. House was huge and gorgeous.
