Charmerende Pentwater Cottage med Association Pool og Shared Lake Michigan Beach

Masser af stranden tilbage her !!! Den stigende vandstand i Lake Michigan har næppe sat en bukke i vores super brede foreningsstrand!

Tilbring dine dage på den smukke sukker sand sø Michigan strand, eller nyd alle foreningens faciliteter (pool, tennisbane, basketballbane, legepladsudstyr). Adgang til stranden handler om en 12 minutters gang eller 2 minutters biltur. Dette nyligt opdaterede sommerhus ligger i et roligt skovklædt skovområde beliggende 2 miles nord for centrum af Pentwater i Ønskeligt Duna Vista associtaion. Placeringen er perfekt til adgang til Pentwater eller Ludington, som er cirka 25 km mod nord.

Ovenpå har to soveværelser, hvoraf det ene har 2 enkeltsenge og det andet en queensize-seng. MBR er i stueetagen og har en queensize-seng.

* Sommerhuset har ikke central klimaanlæg, men MBR har aircondition i vinduet, og ovenpå værelse med queensize-seng har en bærbar aircondition-enhed. Huset er skraveret af flere træer, og temperaturen har ikke været et problem, medmindre det kommer ind i 90'erne.

* På grund af det høje mineralindhold i vandet (brøndvand) leverer vi flaskevand til madlavning / drikke / osv.

* Beklager, ingen kæledyr er tilladt på grund af allergifølsomhed i vores familie

We enjoyed the spacious deck with a propane grill when entertaining extended family for dinner. The kitchen is modern and well stocked with plenty of glasses, plates, and cooking utensils and pots and pans. Our son-in-law, who loves to cook, enjoyed grilling and cooking a great BBQ dinner for us. The cottage is pleasantly decorated. We all enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Stay

Great location with a cozy sunroom to enjoy morning coffee watching the wild turkeys and deer. We explored the woods and saw a porcupine on our way to the beach to enjoy the stars on the beach of Lake Michigan.

Family Vacation

Ideal location and house for a wonderful Pentwater vacation! We loved the deck and outdoor eating area for our meals. The house is decorated perfectly and has been updated so nicely. We will definitely be back!!

The cottage is beautifully appointed with thoughtful furnishings and careful organization (dishwashing pods, matching towels, etc). The condo association terrain is wooded hills (pine and oak) with access to a sandy stretch of lake shore that many condo owners reach via their golf carts. Extended families keep their own beach chairs and water-crafts, and socialize among themselves. There are squirrels, deer, and wild turkeys. The surroundings of the house are quiet. At the beach and pool, you may meet young families or groups of teenagers. As newcomers to this part of Michigan, we appreciated the owner’s’ thoughtfulness in leaving a list of suggested sightseeing and restaurant destinations. The area attracts white families, many of whom come from Grand Rapids and Chicago. In the restaurants, the food is “American style” and you may see a Trump flag on a golf cart or two. The communication with the owners was very smooth. The only disadvantage to the house is that those who suffer heat will have difficulty sleeping in the upstairs bedrooms, which store heat during the day and are difficult to cool at night. One of them has no AC unit.

Great family cottage destination

The house was cute and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the quiet setting with lots of trees and wildlife. We loved the deer that frequently came through the yard. It was nice to have access to a clean and quiet beach just a short drive away. The pool and clubhouse were also nice bonuses.

Perfect Location & Amenities

Spent a week with our family and couldn't have asked for anything more...well, except for maybe a little nicer weather! Cottage was clean, well-appointed and super comfy for our family of 5. It is nicely located close to 'downtown' Pentwater and the association's private beach alone, is well worth staying here for. Definitely interested in returning!

Perfect

We had a great time. House was perfect! Love the neighborhood is wooded and private. Also loved the private beach access, most of the time we had the beach to ourselves! Also enjoyed the heated pool and pickle ball courts. Nice to sit in the sun room and watch all the wildlife while drinking coffee. Also close to Luddington State park and Silver Lake Sand Dunes.

Great week in Michigan

We had a great time at this adorable cottage. Although the listing said you could walk we drove to the beach and pool. The walk was rather hilly for our family and all of our gear but driving was not a problem! We loved the private beach and the pool and spent most of our days at both. The house was comfortable and adorably decorated. It did get hot a few of the days we were there and we noticed the lack of AC but the listing prepared us for that. It was a great week!

Perfect for our fam of 5 which includes 3 young adults! Plenty of sleeping and sitting room. Incredibly clean, comfy beds and pillows. Well stocked w dishes, pans, spices, soaps. Great location! The beach is beautiful, pool was enjoyable, pickleball was fun! They supply water for drinking since well water has high mineral content. Window/room ACs and 2 fans provided are sufficient. We did bring 2 box fans so each room had a fan. Quiet sunroom. Nice relaxing vacation!

Wonderful House and Location!

We took a weekend trip with close friends our kids to Michigan and stayed in this house. The house was spotless, well kept and accurate per the listing! We would definitely stay here again! The neighborhood is secluded, wooded and very quiet, which was perfect for what we were looking for!

Well Loved Cottage

Enjoyed our second stay at this Duna Vista cottage. Clean and well equipped home has everything you need including drinking water. Kitchen is stocked well and sun porch is a fantastic place to relax. Owner is responsive and easy to work with. Pentwater is a beautiful getaway!

The Perfect Oasis

Pentwater is near and dear to our hearts as we were married and have created memories here year after year. Typically, we have stayed in town but decided to stay off the beaten path this year. The house was a perfect location and felt so serene which added to our relaxation. The A/C units barely had to be run and the amenities provided suited us perfectly. Communication with the owner was seamless and timely. The private beach was by far our favorite. We would recommend this house to our family and friends as well!

Darling vacation cottage with a great host.

Our two adult “children” and their families loved this attractive cottage. It was well equipped with a modern kitchen, bath, and laundry room. The little ones loved playing in the protected area of the screened-in porch. We have already booked it again for our Pentwater stay next year. Great rental and welcoming host.

Peace among the trees

The treehouse was the perfect getaways if you're looking to relax and retreat. The house has a great open concept for all main living spaces. The colors and decor were refreshing and serene. Jason was a great host who responded in a timely manner. His great stock of mixed glasses for wine and cocktails looked like a cubbard out of Pier 1 Imports. If you have young kids there is not a big lawn for them to roam, but the private association Beach was gorgeous and only a handful of people every time. We were unable to use the pool because they were installing a new heater system. It will be great for the next group who stays. Thank you for a beautiful stay!

Relaxing in pentwater!

It was a beautiful cottage! We had a great time…went on long runs on the beach, played tennis and basketball, and cooked delicious meals in a nicely equipped kitchen. Great place to reconnect with family and friends. Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful week

We found the house to be very clean and comfortable, and the location was outstanding. The single bathroom worked out for the 5 of us and there was so much to do that we'll have to come back! Because the house offered such a variety of inside and outside spaces, we were able to relax right away. It was truly our best family vacation in years.

We vacationed at this rental with our three grandchildren and we all had plant of room! Great rental property! Easy and fast communication with owners. Clean, fully stocked with cookware and all kinds of extra bedding, linens and towels. Loved private access to the swimming pool and beach at Lake Michigan! Very nice place.

Super quiet wooded neighborhood. Less than 10 minutes from downtown Pentwater. Private beach. Messages from owner were informative and very accommodating. Would consider renting again.

My wife and I purchased this property in the Fall of 2015. We are both Michigan natives and have enjoyed going 'Up North' for most of our lives. It was in highschool that we first discovered Pentwater and then were fortunate enough to 're-discover' it nearly 25 years later. We live in the suburbs of Detroit and love that it only takes about 3 1/2 hours to get to Pentwater.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

This property was perfect for us because we saw the potential that it had and are always up for a project! For us, the location is the perfect mix of a quiet get-away with a wooded setting, while having access to the great association amenities and the beautiful town of Pentwater. We have been updating/renovating the house since Fall 2015. While all the major work is complete, there are still some minor projects (exterior painting, etc.) we will continue to work on...
