Charming villa in panoramic position w/private pool

Pity though, that the simple lack, in your opinion, of instructions on the use of the door keys and domestic appliances (however, widely explained by the owner on check-in) has meant a lower rating :-(

We are pleased that you have found the villa to your liking. However, we are sorry for the bad experience you complain about having had with the owner. We honestly know the owner as very attentive and responsible to the needs of her guests, never intrusive and respectful of their privacy, as indeed the many reviews left by customers also confirm. There was a severe Coronavirus emergency this year that forced our country to restrictive measures with a rigid health protocol obliging homeowners to stringent control and an exceptional on-site presence, hence also the need to clean the pool twice a day. We fully understand that this may have created discomfort, thus disappointing your understandable expectations, but we do not find it right to take it so hard with the owner for this. With regards to the damage claimed by the owner, we cannot think she just came up with it, and even given that said damages were not made present at checkout, it is still possible that this may have been an oversight; perhaps it should be appreciated that in the end the cost for the damage was not claimed. As for us at Villas in Med, we are sure to have, as usual, provided our attentive and complete service, and above all, satisfied your expectations of accommodation as confirmed by you. There is absolutely no speculative intent on extra costs as these are duly indicated in the web description; one only needs to take note of it before booking.
