Dette er en meget grundlæggende 2 værelses hytte med en dobbeltseng i et værelse, 2 tvillinger i den anden og en udtrækssofa i stuen. Det har et fuldt spisekøkken samt en privat dæk. Der er et tredelt badeværelse med toilet, forfængelighed vask og en grundlæggende aluminium bruser. Den smukke, private sandstrand ligger på tværs af gaden.

The Sky House er en del af en forbindelse kendt som Tondakea Lodge. Tondakea Lodge består af tre 2 soveværelser hytter, et 4 værelses hus og et 2 værelses hus; alle kan bookes via VRBO (Se bunden af denne beskrivelse). Beliggende på tværs af gaden fra vores private strand, ved kanten af en 27 hektar skov, var det engang hjemmet og skolen af Franz Johnston, fra gruppen af syv kunstnere, og blev senere en udvej i 50'erne. Selv om der er sket opdateringer gennem årene, bevarer bygningerne deres oprindelige charme og rustikke stemning.

Nyd lange gåture gennem skoven, tag en svømmetur i det krystalklare vand i Georgian Bay, eller tag en 10-15 minutters gåtur langs vandet til Balm Beach. På Balm Beach har du adgang til Balm Beach Go-Karts, Mini Golf, The Surf Family Restaurant og Georgian Grill & Family Arcade, som har de bedste burgere jeg nogensinde har spist!

Amazing beach

Great summer getaway

This property was exactly as listed, and the beach was even better than the pictures showed. The private beach having its own chairs and picnic tables was so helpful. The host was friendly and the cottage was clean, would definitely go back :)

Nice location for a nice beach getaway with arcade nearby for the kids

Very steep and root/moss covered path leading up from parking area could be slippery especially after rain the private beach is very nice however it’s a very steep sandy hill to get to water and back up beds in the room with two beds were very thin mattresses so bringing sleeping bags would probably be a help. We enjoyed our time

Love these cabins!

This was our second time staying on the Tondakea Lodge property and we love it! The cabins are cute and rustic and the beach is beautiful--exactly as advertised. Balm Beach is just a short walk up the road (or the beach!) and having the Georgian Grill and variety store so close by is great for when you don't feel like cooking/driving. We also explored the forest trail this year which was lovely. We'll be back next summer!

“Ole Cozy” 2-bedroom cabin

Across the road and down the pathway through the dunes is a beautiful section of natural, sandy beach that makes staying here such a pleasure. The swimming is fantastic.

Had a nice time

We had a nice time here. The description is exactly what it said it was! Nothing fancy at all but did the job. :) Beach was close.

Rental to forget

I don’t understand why this kind of rental is on VRBO. This is a wood cabine with hole on each side of the doors, so bugs can come in. There is mold at the bottom of the walls, principally in the bathroom and one of the room. The cleaning was not done, but even if the host offered to do it, it was so dirty that we didn’t want to stay there. The inside of the shower was rusty and on the pictures of the rental, we could not see it. So, we opened a case with VRBO to be reimbursed, but they told us to talk with the host, what we did. We got reimbursed only two out of four nights. No refund of cleaning fee. We are very very very disappointed of this experience with the owner and VRBO. The only positive point is the beach.

Rustic Beachside Cottage

Ol' Cozy was a cute cabin nestled into the forest only a short walk from a private beach for guests. Room furnishings are rustic, but the bed is comfortable and fans/heater are provided to manage your comfort.

Rustic Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is rustic but very comfortable! The beach is great (bring water shoes) and the chairs provided are a great touch. Our only note would be that you have to climb some sand dunes and this cottage is accessed by a trail that may not be suitable for people with mobility issues

Last minute

We lucked out that after a last minute cancellation this property was available. The cottage was cozy and fit our needs the beach and swim was way better then I pictured from the pictures.

Family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and location. Billy was lovely. If the bathrooms in the cabins were updated I would rent for longer, but they are very rustic (as described). The private beach is spectacular.

For a last minute vacation, this experience was overall very good. Willy the host was GREAT. Location was awesome. The cabin itself was fairly dated and rustic. I would definitely book here again but think I would request a different Cabin.

Perfect beach vacation

We loved our stay in the Ole Cozy at the Tondakea Lodge. A clean and cozy cabin that had everything we needed. The beach was amazing and we spent most of the days there. The provided beach loungers were comfortable and the sunsets were gorgeous. Willie even organized a beach bonfire for all the guests to enjoy. My 4 year old didn’t want to go home! We are planning to come back next year.

Just what we needed

Nice, peaceful, tiny cabin in the woods, across the road from a beautiful private sandy beach. Kids loved the clear water and the walk into Balm Beach along the water was lovely, watching the sunset. The cabin is pretty rustic but has a nice deck and the location couldn’t be better. Exactly what our family of 4 needed. Willie was a great host and looking forward to coming back here next year.

Not Recommend to anyone

1. Door key was not working properly, 2. There was not any glass on the window on stormy night. 3. Lost electricity at the first day, couple hours after check in- Couldn't able to store my wife's pumped Brest milk on the fridge 4. Lost water 30 min latter lost the electricity. Couldn't able to clean baby after poops. We wanted to left same night but no light help to load the car. Waited till morning and left. We are not looking for luxury but unit was definitely not leavable condition. All video documented, I can send the link with request

Rustic Beach haven

Cabin was period with some modern touches. It was tidy and clean. Included comfy beach furniture. Beds were alright. Fans were welcome. We had fabulous weather. The beach is sandy, but you may want water shoes for the rocks at the edge of the water. We had a good time.
