Amazing view!!!!

Fabulous view eating on the balcony overlooking Lake Como! No A/C but the breeze with the doors open was comfortable even when it’s hot out. Walk to ferry, beach and hiking trails.

Very comfortable apartment with magnificent view

Place was extremely clean and in good shape, the view to the lake is spectacular. A little further away from the water than the listing suggests, also on a very steep climb to reach the property and then lots of stairs to access, not an issue for most people but my mom really struggled with it. Overall a beautiful place to stay and enjoy the lake. Thanks!

Cadenabbia Vista Lago

August 2016 We have recently had a wonderful holiday staying in Cadenabbia Vista Lago, Casa Elena Cadenabbia. We were very happy with the apartment, it is spacious and well equipped and has the most wonderful views, and a balcony to enjoy the view from! We really appreciated the bowl of fruit to welcome us, as well as the fact that there were many basic provisions in the apartment like salt, olive oil, coffee, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets.... It made staying there so easy. The apartment is in a great location, very near to the waterfront and the ferry terminal, and close to the main road for access, but is high enough away from the road to avoid the traffic noise. Cadenabbia is in the central lakes and it is easy to get to many wonderful places from there. The directions to the apartment were clear and easy to follow, and the team at the Happy Holidays offices in Menagio were very friendly and helpful. We did appreciate all the useful information we were sent by the team in the weeks before we came as well. Our one suggestion would be to have a Visitors Book in the apartment so that other guests who stay could write suggestions down about things to do, and information about local shops and amenities. (We only found a second very nice grocery shop in the area on our second to last day staying in Cadenabbia! ) We would definitely recommend this apartment to other travellers, and would love to return there ourselves ! We booked the property for 5 nights from 6/23-6/30 but left one day early due to serious issues with the apartment. Besides the nice view this apartment definitely did not meet our needs. - One the biggest issue was the apartment has no AC which is accurate description but it was so hot that we would book another place and pay more money because the some of fans were broken as we arrived the first night. They did replace them the next morning. But we had no sleep the first night. Even all the fans are on, the place is very hot. - the WIFI was out the entire time while we’re were there and management stated that the internet provider has technical issues and could not fix it. But reading reviews previously seems like this is a repeated issue. We asked if we can leave one day early and get a refund but managment didn’t not compensate for this issue. - The apartment is superficial cleaned as you can see dead bugs all over the corners and some drawers. - The latches on the back door do not work so during the night, the storm hit and the door banged against the frame and kept us all night. Overall, we didn’t have a pleasant stay at this apartment.
