Seven Days oin Stornoway

Location very good as a base to travel from when exploring Harris and Lewis. Central to facilities in Stornoway and good off road parking.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location, perfect for walking to local restaurants and shops, and a great home base for exploring all of the Isle of Lewis and Harris. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. We can't recommend this place highly enough!

The owners provided a ton of helpful information but respected our privacy. Location cannot be beat and lots of space in the flat. Very clean and nice homey touches. Would definitely stay again!

Clean, comfortable, as advertised. Everything went according to plan. Nice touch leaving some beer, crisps and snacks - especially as we didn't arrive until after 9pm in the evening. Central location - perfect for what we required for our visit.

Perfect place to stay

A great little flat, good location and no shortage of parking, The flat is perfect for a couple or family with a couple of kids. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, nicely equipped and very comfortable.Some nice little touches, include a couple of beers and some chocolates awaiting on your arrival. I can't fault it and would definitely stay there again the next time I'm visiting Lewis.

Perfect Getaway

A very clean and tidy property that we would use again . Nice and warm with all home comforts. It is in a great location close to town which is ideal for us. Communication with property owner was first class. All in a perfect short break.

Very easy access to the suite, with a lock box and 2 keys. Comfortable living/dining room, with a lovely electric fireplace and a nice basket of treats, crisps, and biscuits. Kitchen had everything you'd want, including supplies from previous guests.The bedding and mattresses were exceptional; comfortable, clean, very restful and cozy. The second bedroom, with bunk beds, was a bit small for an adult - although the bed was certainly long enough, the room itself was quite small. We were there the end of March 2026, while it was cool and extremely windy, but there were heaters open both bedrooms and the bath so we were quite comfortable. There were a number of great restaurants close to the flat, as well as some nice shops so it couldn't have been in a better location.

Decouverte de l’Ecosse et de ses îles

Sejour itinérant de 3 semaines. Apres Glasgow, Fort William, l’île de Skye, pause de 4 jours à Stornoway pour decouvrir Lewis&Harris. Cet appartement etait parfait au milieu de notre séjour.

Perfectly situated

The property was clean and cosy. It was very conveniently situated to be able to acquire provisions from the town. It made a great base to explore the islands of Lewis and Harris. I would recommend it.

First time visiting Lewis Harris

Literally 2 mins off the Calmac ferry finds yourself at Bayhead, off road parking and very easy walking of local shops, cafes and restaurants. Well laid out appartment has everything you need and more. ‘Welcome pack’ is a really appreciated touch. Lews Castle grounds just across road/harbour has some good walks and view of Stornoway. Thanks guys, we’ll be back

Such comfortable and well equipped accomodation.

Super clean, super comfortable, with everything you would need to relax after a day exploring the beautiful islands of Lewis and Harris. I would highly recommend this property. The owners are exceptional and just seem to have a knack for creating the perfect holiday accomodation. We have also spent time at the property they own next door to this. Whichever property you elect to spend your holidays nights at you are in for a real treat.

Perfect location right in the heart of Stornoway and ideal for exploring the Isle of Lewis and Harris. Restaurants and shops in easy walking distance. Appartement itself has enough room for a party of four with all amenities needed for self catering. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Base

Top notch hospitality

Easy and quick communications with the owners made this rental a breeze. Super easy to find (although google maps took us to the wrong street - but not far). Susie was a fantastic host who ensured we were taken care of with LOADS of unexpected extras and plenty of advice on where to visit (more on top of our list) . Rooms were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we could have wanted - plus some! I’d highly recommend 14C Bayhead. I’m sure we’ll be back!

This apartment and the hosts were over the top fantastic. The location was excellent for walking to everything. The safety of parking right in front of the unit was appreciated. The apartment was stocked with everything needed to make our stay so easy. The McLeod's were very attentive to make our vacation memorable in the best possible way. I feel so fortunate to have found this lovely home away from home.
