We thoroughly enjoyed our short break in Cellardyke.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break in Cellardyke. We know the area well and enjoy the quietness that Cellardyke provides. You’re only a short walk to Anstruther and the facilities that it has to offer. You’re also a short drive from St Andrews and the rest of the East Neuk. We really enjoyed this house. The views from the living room and indeed all the bedrooms alone were worth every penny. The owner has left a handy welcome pack in the kitchen area and there were plenty of soaps, towels etc in the bathrooms. We found the house warm and airy and find it hard to fault it. Looking forward to coming back next year !!!

A Jewel Property in Cellerdyke

We had a fab time in this property. Beautiful house over 3 floors making the best of the stunning views and sunsets. Ideally located for visiting that part of the East Coast. House has everything you need, the one thing that impressed all of us (simple as it may be) they had plug points next to all the mirrors in the bedrooms . Ideal for 6 ladies looking to get ready at the one time. Would highly recommend. We will be returning

Fantastic house

This house was amazing, really spacious with a huge well-equipped living/kitchen/dining room. Great views of the harbour and the sea, really comfy sofas, a huge tv screen and a large dining table. Bathrooms were large and modern (there was a problem with the showers but I'm sure that will be addressed). The layout was perfect for our party, 2 bedrooms upstairs with a bathroom, 2 bedrooms on the ground floor with another bathroom and the living area in the middle floor. The bedrooms were really nicely furnished with very comfortable beds. The house is an easy 15 minute walk from Anstruther where all the cafes and restaurants are. We were a group of 6 friends and we all had a lovely time staying there. We would highly recommend it!

Fantastic property in a great location right on sea front.

Fantastic property in a great location right on sea front. Perfect for great walks along coast with family/friends. Nearby outdoor activity centre and handful of restaurants and cafe offering sit in or takeaway service if required. Although property clean At first glance was disappointed with attention To detail is if you moved furniture/ beds etc needed a good hoovering and dusting also found items clearly left behind by previous occupants under beds etc. If you removed bin bag In kitchen inside bin Needed a good clean. Had a fantastic stay at Nautilus Cottage.

Had a fantastic stay at Nautilus Cottage. It was perfectly situated on the harbour side. The accommodation is spacious, well equipped, warm & comfortable. We were a family of 5 adults + two children (5yrs + 3yrs) we all enjoyed our stay. We loved walking the coastal path, rock pools, crabbing + play area. The Cottage is 0.5miles from Anstruther. It would also be a good base for golfers. Nautilus Cottage was excellent Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Absolutely amazing place to stay! Beautiful location and easy to access Edinburgh and Dundee and all the other smaller places. House was immaculate apart from a funny smell in utility room and fridge door is bit sticky but would stay here again 100%!

lovely house, great views

lovely open plan living, dining and kitchen area on first floor with lovely harbour and sea views. very useful room for coats, shoes, buckets and spades downstairs which helped reduce clutter. Fridge in kitchen really didn't keep food cold, so would recommend that second fridge in utility room is used instead. Freezer worked fine,but needs defrosted! Dryer not very effective, but needed as washing on clothes horse quite slow to dry downstairs as quite cool. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, good showers and good telly. Good selection of DVD's , but couldn't get DVD player to work. Played DVD through our laptop onto big screen instead which worked fine. Park and costal path 2 minutes out of door. Steep hairpin road down to property...fine if no other traffic. A few hairy reverses otherwise! On street parking, but we usually got a space just outside the front door so not a problem. Quiet street and easy walking distance into Anstruther. We had a lovely week and the children really enjoyed St Andrew's aquarium on our one really wet day and the beaches, coastal walks, parks ( esp Craigtoun) and fish and chips on the brighter days. We would recommend.

Fabulous little cottage for our family getaway.

Fabulous little cottage for our family getaway. We struggled to get in with the key for the outer door, not great at 10pm in the dark and rain, but the cottage itself is lovely and location beautiful. We couldn’t seem to get enough hot water for baths but the kids enjoyed showering instead, and we had to toddler proof a little, but all in all a super holiday, thank you x

Unfortunately the cottage had not been prepared on our arrival at 3pm, the previous visitors beds unchanged, dirty towels in bath, rubbish not cleared. The owner was contacted and quickly arranged for the housekeeper to visit and prepare. At 4.30 approx we were advised that the cottage was ready for us to go in, that seemed very quick to prepare a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. It is a lovely cottage in a fabulous location. However we found one fridge was broken and the door could not be closed. No washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets had been left for us, so we had to go in to the next village to buy some. Really this did not detract from our stay but we did feel it all lacked attention to basic details. If we could be assured that this was a one off situation, we would not hesitate to return.

A very well appointed and designed house with superb views from the first floor lounge / dining area

A very well appointed and designed house with superb views from the first floor lounge / dining area and upper floor bedrooms. Comfortable beds with quality linens, good kitchen inventory and white goods and a high standard of cleanliness. Would definitely recommend for a family holiday base with lots to do for the family in the local area.

Great house very clean and everything we needed.

Great house very clean and everything we needed. Just one suggestion, the rope banister for the stairs a nice, however do not give great support going up stairs. My Mum struggling with this as did my husband who had a leg injury.
