Wonderful stay at Quai du Val!Loved the location near the banks of the picturesque Rance river with nearby footpath leading to the Port de Dinan. Great location from which to explore northern Brittany including St Malo and Mont St Michel. The gîte is very well appointed, in pristine condition and was perfect for our canine companion. Also appreciated the detailed instructions for the house and the local area. Would definitely return to this gîte.

Beautiful dog friendly home with a lovely garden and relaxing views to the river. Lovely small town and about 30 minutes pleasant walk in to Dinan. Very well set up and comfortable. Host communication was excellent.

Very well equipped - in fact having stayed a number of French cottages this was much better equipped than what you usually expect. Lots useful touches like bikes, British TV, wonderful basket of goodies to set us up, and clean instructions on everything. Host was super attentive with very quick responses to even the smallest query. Location is fabulous - we loved it as a base, walking up into Dinan and along the river paths to the port. A daily highlight was the short walk to the artisan Boulanger around the corner for fresh bread and croissants! Very highly recommended!

Brilliant stay at this house as a group of 5 (including a 2-year old). We stayed for a week and enjoyed our time due to the beautiful surroundings, gorgeous house, and plenty of local things to do to keep us busy. We hired bikes and loved exploring the riverway and cycling to Dinard on the bike routes. The port of Dinan was a 30 minute walk or 10 minute bike ride away. Highly recommend as a base in Brittany. Also, Michelle was easily contactable and welcoming - and even left a lovely welcome basket which was a nice surprise!

Great base location

Enjoyable week, property is well stocked and great location for Dinan (walking distance), nice river walks with the dog!!! Very helpful owners, would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable house with lovely views and walks. Magical village. We loved our stay.It would have been five stars throughout if the downstairs shower room had not been so small.

Beautiful house in a delightful area.

The house is situated by the river, with lovely views. The owners have taken care to supply everything we needed and the house is one of the most comfortable we have stayed in.

Wonderful visit

Really well put together property with a beautiful view. We had a great time with 2 young children visiting local attractions and the beach. Being English and having an English host helps with questions whilst we were there. Would recommend.

Beautiful riverside location

The gite is generously equipped, a practical and easy place to spend a holiday - walking, cycling, visiting Dinan and other nearby attractions. Or you can simply relax in the lounge or on the terrace, and watch the boats that pass by on the river, or the walkers and cyclists on the towpath.

Beautiful Boathouse!

A lovely property. Very well equipped with everything we needed for our 2 week family holiday. Great having 2 separate outdoor areas to catch the sun/shade at different times of the day. Very spacious rooms for us all. Very beautiful village of Lehon with its boulangerie, swimming pool and abbey gardens and cafe. Also great location for Dinan and river walks, paddle boarding and cycling. Would highly recommend!

I can highly recommend this property and the hosts.Everything went smoothly, all the way through and we really appreciated everything about the house, which felt well maintained, fresh and clean. Also very well equipped/stocked with everything we could possibly need during our stay, including two bikes, board games and books to read.Three nice bedrooms upstairs, no A/C, but there were fans in each room.WC/Bathroom upstairs and WC/shower downstairs. The downstairs WC/shower was small, but filled its purpose and worked fine for us. Kitchen was well equipped, fridge was small, but there was a second fridge/freezer in the laundry room. Open floor plan between kitchen and the comfy livingroom.No big garden, but two nice patios. The kitchen had doors leading to one patio and the living room had doors leading to the other. Both patios were connected on the outside and surrounded by a low wall and bushes, so our little dog could wander around freely.We loved our stay in this house, which felt like a home away from home from day one.

Amazing Lehon

The absolute best place we have ever rented. Michelle went above and beyond all expectations. She had a lovely welcoming gift and went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed. My co-workers asked if the listing was as good as it looked online and I said “no -it was infinitely BETTER!

Love at first sight!

What a delight: everything was exactly as we hoped it would be from the description and pictures. This is a comfortable house where everything works. We enjoyed the quiet village, walking to Dinan and the port, and stocking up at LeClerc for some meals at home. Our excursions took us by boat to St. Malo and by car to Mont Saint Michel where we spent one night and climbed to the abbey for the night program. Our favorite meal was lunch in Saint Suliac at La Galichon.

Lovely Property in a great location

The property looked great in the photos and didn't disappoint when we arrived. Michelle was a super helpful host. It's a great base to explore the region.The Port is well worth a visit at lunch or in the evening, it's only a 1/2 hour walk at a slowish pace, through the trees on the left of the river when it's hot or on the path to the right if its not. All the restaurants, creperies were dog friendly.A short walk up a steep hill and you are in the centre of beautiful Dinan.The only downside for us was the lack of dog friendly beaches, we found one near Lancieux, but only really good for an off lead romp in the sand not particularly attractive. We spoke to a local who said almost all beaches in France are not dog friendly now as a result of owners not picking up after their dogs.We had a great time.

Loué une semaine à la Toussaint super Gite trés bien équipé propre dans village ancien, touchant Dinan, au bord d'une riviere Certe le long d'une route, le seul point un peu moins bien sinon RAS super reposant permet de visiter St Malo / Dinan / Cancale /Mt St Michel... parfait

Perfekt

Alles war perfekt. Wohlfühlen von der ersten Minute an. Der Weg nach Dinan am Fluss entlang war malerisch, ebenso der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Fluss. Es ist an absolut alles gedacht. Besser geht es nicht.

Maison chaleureuse

Nous avons passé de belles vacances à Léhon et ses environs. La maison est chaleureuse et pratique. Très touchés par l’accueil ( déco de Noël, sapin, panier garni et table dressée pour le réveillon). Juste dommage que la maison se trouve près d’une route.

Gîte très bien situé et très bien équipé. Un espace de vie très confortable et spacieux. Les chambres sont très spacieuses avec une bonne literie. Ce serait de préciser dans l'annonce que le gîte est situé près d'une route

We stayed for a week in August and all had a fabulous time. The house is very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. The location is great and the bikes a real bonus to enable us to cycle along the tow path to Dinan - it was very easy to hire additional bikes too. Some wonderful beaches around 20 mins away which are simply stunning and definitely worth a visit. We love this particular area of Brittany and wouldn’t hesitate to come back her again. Regards Nicki

Séjour très agréable.

La maison est très agréable et fonctionnelle.Elle est surtout idéalement placée et exposée.Nombreuses balades à faire en partant à pied du gite.... Les + sont: La vue,le confort de la maison,son lieu ,les vélos mis à disposition.... la proprietaire est à l écoute et très arrangeante.
