Unfortunately, our holiday was ruined by a cockroach infestation. During our stay we found multiple large cockroaches in different areas of the property, including bedrooms, the bathroom and the kitchen. We reported the issue immediately and pest control attended, but the sightings continued and we no longer felt comfortable staying, especially with children. We had no option but to leave early and pay for alternative accommodation, which caused significant disruption and additional expense. While the host responded and some compensation was eventually provided through Vrbo, it did not make up for the impact on our holiday.La Manga Club is a wonderful resort and we’d happily return, but we would not book this property again. I hope the issue has now been resolved for future guests, but I think it’s important to share our experience so others can make an informed decision before booking.

Lovely property

Really well equipped kitchen and the most comfy beds we have slept in at La Manga. Beautiful location with lovely views over the Mar Menor and a few steps away from the biggest of the El Rancho pools. Will definitely be back!

Great property in the wonderful La Managa Club

We had a great week in this property which wanted for nothing. Brilliant bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas with a great kitchen which wanted for nothing. The proximity to the pool was great and the temperature of the water brilliant.

Perfect villa for a relaxing holiday

We stayed in the villa for a week at the beginning of August. The villa was perfect, very clean and modern and had everything we needed. Communication with the owner and the check in process was excellent, and would recommend this villa. Looking forward to booking again next year.

Fantastic Villa in a great location

This was a lovely comfortable modern Villa in a perfect location, both in terms of location within the development and proximity to pool (few feet away) but also an easy stroll across to the restaurants and bars. The Villa owner was very proactive in all comms. We had a great 3 weeks and felt very at home overall an excellent stay.

We have been to La Manga many times, El Rancho is probably the best of the areas to stay, the location of the villa to the pool was fabulous even allowing my daughter to use the wifi by the pool! The Villa was so well equipped, a lot of thought has gone into the comfort of the guests will definitely come again. Thank you Alex.

Lovely family property

We have just arrived home from a beautiful stay in this property. Everything we needed there we had. We went with a 7 year old a 2 year old and both catered for really well in la manga and in the property. Great location to the pool with a short walk to restaurants we really did have the best time! Alex is also super helpful and very responsive! Thank you!!

La Mango fun

What a beautiful, quirky accommodation set in a secure, safe and friendly resort. Everything was as described and easy access to shops and restaurants. Air conditioning in the accommodation with most tv channels and apps. Lots of sport if needed plus the amazing 3 golf courses on site. Great views and easy routes to beach and walking routes. Loved every day.

2nd Visit!

El Rancho is definitely one of the best areas in the club to stay in, the location of the villa to the pool is perfect, the villa has everything you want for enjoyable holiday! Met up with some of the owners we met last year. Lovely people! A shame had to ask again for the second front door key and safe key! But Alex sorted it out promptly!

Yes the host was welcoming and all the amenities were working. Some plates in the cupboard were dirty. The 40% golf discount that was advertised was no longer available (I was told about this before we travelled) but should not be included in the description. The instructions given for using keybox and key entry did not apply. I was told that a key would be dropped off on the following morning but this did not happen.

Had a wonderful time at this property. It had everything we needed plus more for a relaxing family break. Lovely touch with the baby equipment and toys. Air con was a definite plus. Plenty of space for everyone. Comfy beds. A very well equipped kitchen. Lots of notes and a folder to explain everything. The resort itself is beautiful. Enjoyed the pool that is just a few steps from the property and met some very friendly residents and people on their breaks whilst there. A small square is about a 7 minute walk that has plenty of places to eat and a few shops. Would recommend having your own car as the supermarket is about a 20 minute walk and the region is quite hilly. Thank you Alex, I hope to come back again soon!

Wonderful house in a great location

The villa is extremely well equipped especially the kitchen. The Nespresso coffee machine is a great addition. Plenty of plates, glasses etc. It even had graters, a lemon squeezer and tongs for the BBQ.it also had a pop up tent and parasol for the beach, The location is great, just 20 meters from the pool. We had a couple of queries and the host replied very quickly and was extremely helpful. It was very clean on arrival. Overall an excellent choice. We will definitely come here again !

Winter Sun

As we were older visitors we found that the villa had too many curved stairs and we had difficulty keeping the villa warm. The north facing balcony wasn’t in the sun but the upper terrace did provide some seating area. However this was February/ March. The upgrades to the villa that have been completed were very good.

OLD, DATED, BADLY MANAGED AND NOT AS DESCRIBED.

Firstly, the villa is in a great location and in a beautiful Golf resort. IT ENDS THERE! Whatever I’m about to say, the owner will retaliate no doubt, as I tried to sort this out with her personally and did not want to leave a bad review. However, our holiday was ruined. On the day of arrival, she messaged me saying I had not filled out a booking form or paid the final amount. I informed her I had never received a booking form, nor a final payment reminder. She said that other customers had also complained that booking forms never attached properly to her emails. So I paid the final amount and told her how many adults and children would be staying. When we arrived at 4pm, there were steep narrow stairs leading down to two bedrooms. One bedroom had a queen bed, the other had two small single beds. There was no made up bed for our 3rd child, fair enough as it was a sofa bed, but no bed linen in sight. I had to phone a number I found in a book in the kitchen, and ask a lady where the bedding was. It turned out to be underneath the queen bed. We had to lift this bed up and rummage through lots of haphazard bedding. Then I made the sofa up as a bed and as I did, crumbs fell out all over the floor. I could only find a flat sheet and a single duvet so nothing fitted the dirty sofa and when my son slept on it there were uncomfortable gaps where it doesn’t fold out properly. Disgraceful. The bathrooms are old, dated and dirty with cracked tiles. I hope I can attach photos!

Whilst disappointed I'm not at all surprised to receive this review having being threatened by Zoe a few days ago. As you'll see from the other 51 reviews this is vexatious and not reflective of the property. For all stays we provide phone numbers to report any problems and manage them and resolve them during the stay. The management company office is about 500 metres from the villa and they are very quick to respond to client needs. At no point during the stay did Zoe contact us to report concerns. Zoe did contact me following her stay having left the property in a horrendous state threatening a bad review unless I gave her a refund. I did not offer a refund as it was not warranted and so this has been posted. We offer our family holiday home for rent. We work closely with our management company to ensure high standards are met and this is reflected in our other reviews.
