The suite is exactly as described. Great location, views and equipped with all the basic amenities. Host was attentive and quickly responded to questions. I would recommend adding a blanket for the sleeper sofa, so that it’s a functional bed. It was only equipped with a sheet.

The room was overall ok. The view saved how I rated my stay. Upon checking in, I noticed that the room wasn’t entirely clean. I had to clean the bathroom and other areas in the room that should have been done before I checked in. The jacuzzi jets were so riddled with filth, to where it looked like it had not been treated in awhile. The shower had mold throughout the walls, bottom of the crevices, and covered the shower head. The sheets had stains on them. These are the common areas that I anticipate to be clean, cozy, and feel like home away from home. I literally had to drop my bags after arriving to go and purchase cleaning supplies. Also, to add insult to injury I was charged the 250 for the cleaning service fee. Clearly, the staff is not being thorough as should be…Second, there was only one working elevator with over 35 floors and thousands of people visiting. My husband and I had a week stay for our birthday vacation and this was so inconveniencing along with the room. Lastly, this app doesn’t allow videos to be uploaded. Unfortunately, I don’t have pictures for proof of my concerns.

Miami Beach Getaway

The property was very clean and neat. The furnishings were new and modern. You have access to all the resort amenities including pool, beach, and spa. The view from the condo was amazing. Would stay again.

The staff was absolutely fantastic. Everybody above and beyond. All the fees though were out of control in our mind. They were excessive. $250 per night deposit and the food was way overpriced. But the facilities itself was fantastic the kids loved it and so did my myself and my wife.

The property and pools were wonderful. The location is also excellent. The suite was just ok. The room was dirty and had peeling paint through the room. There was burnt out lighting in the small shower so it was difficult to have a shower. There were no mugs only paper glasses. And don't expect to

Non-Working Elevator / Cleaning Needed

Great location and the room was spacious as expected. However the room could have used a fresh cleaning "especially the bathroom". But more importantly staying on the 10th floor with non-working elevators was a major disappointment along with the additional "cleaning fees" that were required upon vacating when the room didn't feel clean upon arrival.

Great room, not so great building amenities

Room was great! Generally clean, with some aging in the bathroom and light fixtures. We’ve stayed at the other half of the resort in the hotel and will probably return to that side next visit due to the horrible elevator issues. Waiting 10-25 minutes for the only working elevator for it to finally arrive packed full was a little bit of a buzzkill. I know it’s not the hosts fault but it was a bummer. We took the stairs often from the 10th floor which sucked. Rumor has it that the elevators haven’t worked in ages. Wish the property would do something about it so we would consider this side of the resort again!

Family trip to Miami

This is a condo at the Fountainbleu. You’re not a “hotel guest” and many of the benefits of the hotel are not extended to the VRBO renters such as the complementary water sports. The unit is spacious and has a good view from the balcony, but it was not as clean as we had hoped (it needed a good vacuuming) and there is some wear and tear (i.e. the caulk is coming off in the shower and there was mildew around the edge). The elevators are very loud and you can hear them running all evening. During or entire 5-day trip, two of the four elevators were broken which was very frustrating. Several times, we waited for 10 minutes for an elevator with room for all four of us, and we ended up walking up the 10 flights of stairs a few times during the busiest weekend times. I let the owner know but she was not apologetic. Based on conversations we had with several people who had stayed there before, the elevators are often down/broken.It was a nice trip, but we won’t be returning to the Fountainbleu.

We just stayed for one night, the check-in process was simple, before I booked, I was messaging with the host and responses were very clear and timely matter. The unit was clean and the bed was comfortable overall five stars, I’d stay here again!

Great getaway.

The property was as described and we had a wonderful stay. The check in process was long, as we arrived right at 4pm. Also, only 1 or 2 elevators were working during our stay, so waits were very long. I consider these a poor reflection on the hotel, not the property owner.

Great property but some aspects not upto standards!

I have stayed at Fontainebleau many times but this was my first time staying at a private residence at the property through VRBO. While the cleanliness, communication and location were great, some aspects were not upto par for a property of this category. It was stated in the description that there would be no daily housekeeping unless requested and for an exorbitant fee, there wasn’t enough coffee supplies provided for the period of stay. The walls are pretty thin and the neighbors had something going on and I could hear a bunch of them fighting the whole night. The banging noises got scary and I was almost at the verge of calling the police.The elevators are really slow and it took more than 15 minutes to get one. Unfortunately couldn’t use the stairs with the luggage and ended up paying a cancellation fee for the uber . That said, the room, location and communication were great

Very unprofessional

My husband and I planned a cruise porting out of Miami and decided to spend our last day of vacation at the Fontainebleau resorts in Miami. When booking the room communication was great however, after paying for the room and checking in that's where the issues began. We were told we could check in early as long as the prior guest checked out on time. When checking in at 10am we were told the room was not ready they would text us when the room was ready 8 hrs later after many messages to the host and calls to the hotel we finally received a text at 640 pm that our room was ready. We stood in line AGAIN while the the front desk allowed several people to cut the line making several guests in line upset. However we waited our turn and finally checked in at 7pm. once we got to the room the floor was soaked, there was hair in the bathroom my husband contacted the host the next day to get a late check out and was told they do not do late check outs but were told by the hotel the reason why we could not access the room was because the guest the night before had a late check out however the host said the room was not rented the night before so either the hotel or the host gave us the run around. The room and hotel were beautiful however the experience through VRBO was horrible. HOWEVER, THE BAGGAGE CLAIM MAN GUNTER WAS THE BEST VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL..... I GIVE HIM A 10 OUT OF 10!!!!!
