Trails End Family Friendly Beach House beliggende i landsbyen Lion's Head

Perfekt familieferie sted og vandrere tilflugtssted. Beliggende i hjertet af den lille landsby Lion's Head, en række tilbage fra sandstranden og Bruce Trail's Niagara Escarpment.

Trails End Beach House har et åbent koncept stue / spisestue. Komfortabel sofa og kærlighedssæde med 32 "smart tv og wifi til regnfulde dage og forbliver forbundet, når du ikke er uden for at nyde de mange sjove ting at lave på Bruce Peninsula. Køkkenet har alle bekvemmeligheder i hjemmet. Et badeværelse med bruser / badekar kombination, perfekt til badning børn. Et soveværelse med en queensize-seng, et soveværelse med en enkel køjeseng og det tredje soveværelse har en dobbeltseng. Dæk er 330 kvadratmeter med grill og gårdhave sæt. Om aftenen kan du nyde rostning af marshmallows på bålpladsen i baghaven og stirre op på den stjernefyldte himmel. Lions hoved er kendt for dets mørke himmel.

Tjek Bayside astronomi hver fredag ​​og lørdag aften i skumringen i juli og august. Levende musik kan høres hver fredag ​​aften på Harborside-scenen. Farmers Market hver lørdag morgen. Sjov legeplads på sandstrand kun 75 meter eller ca. 1 minuts gang væk. Lion's Head Beach er perfekt til bygning af sandslotte og svømning i det krystalklare vand i Georgian Bay. It was very clean and cozy. All needs were anticipated with a fully equipped kitchen, nice linens and toys and games. The host was very responsive. I would love to stay there again.

The trail end beach house of Ruth and Chad is a really great house for several reasons : good vibes with nice decoration, super clean and modern, calm neighbourhood, easy access to Bruce trail by walking, very close to the beach, doorstep from the saturday farmer market and above all kids friendly with all amenities. We really enjoyed our stay and would have loved to stay longer.

Fantastic and relaxing stay

Ruth and Chad’s place in Lion’s Head was the perfect getaway! An easy walk to amazing hiking trails, and with the beach just across the street. The house itself is quiet and private, and right in the middle of the small town of Lion’s Head. Ruth and Chad were quick to respond, check-in was very easy, and the house was well equipped and comfortable. Would book here again in a heartbeat.

My family and I had a wonderful time while staying at the Trails End Beach house. Ruth was an extremely responsive host and I felt confident that if the need arose, she would be available to assist.Thankfully our stay was smooth thanks to how neat, tidy and extremely organized and well thought out every aspect of the cottage was from the kitchen to the bathroom and bedrooms. Even the BBQ grill on the porch was extremely clean and ready to use within minutes of our arrival. We also appreciated the treats Ruth left for kids and grownups alike, they were a very nice surprise. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

Lions Head Beach House

We were completely impressed by our hosts, Ruth and Chad, as the beach house was an awesome location for our week of hiking the Bruce Trail and the attention to detail was spot on. Hiking during the day, along the peninsula, and cooling off at the beach at the end of the day was perfect! The local coffee shop and restaurants were great options for our needs. Also, the beach house offered all the needs for our stay from comfort, cleanliness, linens/towels to 'goodies' supplied by our hosts. When we come back to this region this will definitely be our first choice!

I recently stayed at this beautiful house, and it was an amazing experience! The house is absolutely stunning with cozy vibes that made us feel right at home. The view from the property is breathtaking, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature.The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, making it easy to cook meals for the family. We also loved the TV with great subscriptions, which kept everyone entertained during downtime.Our family had a fantastic time here. The whole house was warm and inviting, making our stay super comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!What truly stood out was how accommodating the host was. We took a hike without realizing how long it would take, and the host was incredibly understanding, graciously allowing us to extend our checkout time. Beautiful cottage!

Once again, we had a great week in Lion's Head. The cottage is beautifully decorated, clean and well maintained. Perfect for a family! The bunk bed and toys made it a blast for our kids. The cottage's proximity to the beach is a bonus, as is the general location of Lion's Head (allowed for easy day trips to Wiarton, Sauble Beach and Tobermory). Ruth's attention to detail and hospitality are wonderful!

We had a wonderful time at trails end. Felt like home away from home and Ruth was amazing too.

The area was perfect for all the things we wanted to go see and do. Like the grotto, Tobermory, flower pot island and sauble beach. Lions head is a beautiful little cove. We always ended our day at the beach playing vball, paddle boarding and walking along by the lighthouse. The cottage was clean, comfortable and Ruth had provided everything we needed. Highly recommend this place.

Nice cottage with lots to do close by

We had a nice stay at Trails End Beach House. It was clean and well equipped. It suited our needs for the week perfectly. The location is great - close to the beach and Lion's Head lookout trail on the Bruce, and only a short drive away from other interesting places to visit. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others for their vacation.

Fantastic place!

We loved our stay in Lion's Head. Ruth's cottage has lots of room, is beautifully decorated, well cleaned and extremely well suited to young children. Perfect location in a lovely little town. Close to Tobermory, Sauble Beach and Wiarton for day trips.

Perfect cottage for a small family getaway

My wife, almost toddler son and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at Trails End. You can see the water and cliffs from the deck and living room. The beach and playground is a minute's walk away (with a baby). The house was bright and clean. Everything we needed was there and our son loved the toys in the house and the wagon filled with beach toys outside. Grocery store and cafe/restaurants are a block away. Easy field trip with the wagon. Easy drive (half hour) to Bruce Peninsula Park and maybe 45 minutes to Tobermory.

Great family vacation home

We had a wonderful time at Ruth's beach house. It was a perfect place for our family (2 adults, 2 kids). The beach was just down the street and you could see it from the big windows in the living room. The area was great with every thing you needed right at your doorstep (grocery store, pub, cafe, lighthouse, hikes and the beach). The house was very clean and had everything we needed (including toys for the kids to play with when raining). Ruth was very responsive both before and during our stay. We highly recommend staying here! The only problem we had is that we didn't realize the grocery store was closed on Sunday....but that was on us for not paying attention! :)

We enjoy exploring the area, relaxing on the beach and hiking the Bruce Trail. We are happy to offer our Beach House for other families to enjoy and experience the Bruce Peninsula.

We hope you will enjoy our home away from home as much as we do. The beach house is cozy and comfortable with all the amenities needed for your family. Only steps to sandy beach. Swim the day away or build castles in the sand making for a perfect way to spend the day with your family. Explore the Bruce Trail and hike along the escarpment bluffs to breathtaking views of the sparkling waters of Georgian Bay. Located right in the heart of Lions Head so you can walk to whatever you need. Only a short drive to Tobermory or Bruce Peninsula National Park which features the Grotto and Indian Head Cove. Drive to the west side of the peninsula to discover sunsets on Red Bay Beach or grab some ice cream in Sauble Beach. Perfect location for day tripping on the Bruce Peninsula.

Trails End Beach House is within walking distance to the beach, Bruce Trail, 3 restaurants, grocery store, library, shops and bank. Makes it easy to park your car for the week and just get around on foot. Every Saturday morning you can walk to the farmers market to pick up fresh veggies or a hot breakfast only 75 meters or 1 minute away! Enjoy live music every Friday night at Harbourside music, 4 min walk! Every Friday and Saturday night take in the stars at dusk with Bayside Astronomy. After 9 pm by the lighthouse at the end of the dock the public is welcome to observe the night sky. Lion's Head is known for its dark skies.
