wonderful place to unwind and relax

We wanted a private place where my husband could just relax and there is no better place than Youphoria Villas. The villas a beautiful, all facing the wonderful view of the bay. The staff are always there to help but are never intrusive. We had a perfect week and can't wait to go back

Wonderful Experience & Host!

This was an incredible experience. Our host, Eleni, was so wonderful and gracious. She was so welcoming and was one of the best parts of our stay. The villa was incredible, tucked behind olive groves, and in a quaint village with lots of cafes and close to the beaches. This was a 5 star experience, would recommend to a friend and to anyone! Thank you for such a great experience.

Wonderful! Amazing!

Wow! What a property! It was beautiful, perfectly furnished, and well stocked upon our arrival. Eleni was an amazing host, no detail was left undone. We ordered the box of local fresh fruit and vegetables upon are arrival (a perk) and they was delicious. The view was breathtaking. Vassilis (the property owner) stopped by before we left, to make sure we had a delightful visit, how could we not? Everything was perfect. One more thing, we traveled as a family, my husband and I, and our adult children with their partners. The set up of our unit was perfect, two seperate private areas, with their own bathrooms, and the main 'house' with the living area downstairs and the master upstairs. Just enough privacy to make us all feel comfortable, but not too far away. I highly recommend this property. Thank you Eleni and Vassili for making our Crete visit magical! We will be back!

Paradise witha view!

Stayed for 6 das in July 2017 - Eleni who is on site to care for guests needs went above and beyond. Eleni gave great suggestions on local Taverna', day trip to Balos, supermarkets, beaches to see and Greek language lessons -Yassou, Efharisto, and we had to say. Priceless view and only 7 minute drive to Kissamos to get groceries, we used her Synka discount card to shop like a local. The only question needed to be answered is - Would we go back - YES!

The most idyllic holdiay ever.

This holiday was one of the best I have ever had. These villas are beautifully designed, with quality fittings and furnishings. Even the sunlounger cushions feel expensive. The bed linen is soft, the layout wonderful, the appliances modern. This was better than home! In addition the setting of the villas with the most wonderful peaceful views of the sea and mountains is sublime. It was hard to leave each day to go off and explore and joy to come back to every day. All the Youphoria staff are super friendly and helpful, they want to make sure you get the most out of your stay. It was simply amazing. and I cant wait to come back!

Wonderful property in paradise

Beautiful and luxurious 3 bedroom property with lovely pool and superb location. Perched high on the hill the views from the pool sitting area were majestic. Enjoying the quiet ambience in the late afternoon with the occasional rooster crowing and goats with bells from nearby farms was a delight for the senses. The property is new and well appointed. The service from all the staff was first rate with daily immaculate cleaning. Welcoming support and information from Eleni and Vassilis was excellent and certainly helped to get the most of our stay. Car is essential to enjoy local attractions. Highly recommended.

Self catering with a luxury twist!

From the moment we arrived and Eleni showed us around to the moment we left we felt very spoilt! We spent 4 days in Harmony Villa at the end of our honeymoon and it was fantastic to have total privacy whilst at the same time the luxury of cleaners coming in each morning to return the villa to pristine condition. The location is excellent and we found some great local restaurants and butchers/markets. Would recommend getting up early to walk the Samaria Gorge. We wouldn't hesitate to go back and explore Crete a little more... four days just wasn't enough!

An excellent week at Villa Plethora

We stayed in Villa Plethora. It is a modern and stylish villa with an infinity pool. It lacks for nothing. There are a small group of villas but they are carefully designed to be perfectly private. The owner, Vassili, was on hand to answer any questions and give advice about the area and restaurants worth a visit and the manager, Helen, was a delight. In fact all the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. We were looking for a relaxing holiday and Villa Plethora was ideal. It was so nice to sit by the pool with a glass of retsina and hear the sound of the goats with bells around their necks. We are happy to recommend it to others.

Extraordinary Villa

We spent on this Villa one week. What is different compare another villas? villa has spectacular view and used matterial , kitchen devices, shower, furniture ,beds are the best what you can buy on the market nowaday. You have everyday service ( pool maintainance , cleaning etc.) Owner Vassilis and manager Eleni are very friendly and kind always ready to help . Recommend visit restaurant Sunset and also near Villa are the best beaches in Crete Falasarna, Elafonisi and Balos. It is really worth of spend money. I usually not visit places where I was again but this one I am thinking that in the future I will visit again.

A little piece of Paradise

La villa était tout à fait conforme aux photos et au descriptif aussi bien en terme d'environnement et de quiétude que d'équipement et de bon gout. L'accueil chaleureux et la disponibilité d'Helen ainsi que l' efficacité et la gentillesse du personnel ont été un plus notable. D'autre part l'emplacement des villas permet une découverte facile de l'ouest de la Crète et de ses richesses comme Balos, Elafonisi, Falassama, Chania, ... Nous espérons y retourner l'année prochaine

Dream vacation, just book it!

We booked villa Abyss for our vacation; the accommodation, services and overall experience exceeded our best expectations. The views from these villas are absolutely amazing, if you want to absolutely relax and unwind on your own private terrace with your own private pool while watching the blue waters of Mediterranean sea, look no further. Our villa had a modern minimalist design with natural materials, designer seating and state of the art equipment in the kitchen. They can even organize your own private chef to cook your desired meal, with local fresh ingredients. Best beaches in West Crete - Balos, Falassarna and Elafonisi are a short drive away from these villas and worth visiting them. Nice fish restaurants in the area of Kissamos port, also bakery, supermarket and various shop are 5 min drive to the town of Kastelli. We will be back next year!

Luxury Living with Stunning Views

We relaxed from the moment we stepped into Youphoria Villas. Arriving late into the evening, Giannis had waited to welcome us and show us around the wonderful Villa Anassa. Although we were hugely impressed with the villa that evening, it wasn't until the morning when we could really appreciate how well laid out our villa was, with so many floor to ceiling windows letting in the beautiful Cretan sunshine. Our bedrooms were immaculately clean, with minimal contemporary decor and the facilities provided were excellent. The outdoor area was perfect and had the most amazing views across Kissamos Bay. We also spent a lot of time with our son in the wonderful infinity pool. The area was very quiet and Giannis gave us some great local information, so we visited some wonderful restaurants and beautiful beaches that were not far away. Even the local beaches looked enticing, but it was hard to get away from our Villa as we were only there for a week. Our communications with Vassilis (the owner) prior to our stay and on our last day when we thought we were stranded in Balos due to losing our hire car keys (which were finally found!) were outstanding. He was prepared to come and collect us, but thankfully did not need to. We hope to make a future visit to Youphoria Villas and would recommend it highly to anyone. Our only negative is that we were not there long enough!

Beautiful house and view, practical interior

We were impressed when we arrived at Youphoria villa´s! The building of our villa was finalised in the winter of 2014-2015 and looked great. We were with 2 adults and 3 children and the way the villa was build, with 3 separate bedrooms including bathrooms, was perfect for us. The baby could sleep quitly in the afternoon and early evening, the other children could play at the swimming pool and we could sit outside and enjoy the terrific view with a glass of wine. We also used the bbq a couple of times (and enjoyed it). The every day cleaning was really nice. Also Jan, the Dutch guy who was responsible for the day to day questions etc, was really helpful and could be reached at any time. We had a fantastic week at Youphoria villa´s and would recommend it to people who want to have a luxury holiday, good weather as a garanty, nice and quiet and close to the sea.

Better than in the photos!!

The pictures don't do these villas justice. They are immaculate, beautiful and feature every modern convenience. The view from the outdoor sofa under the pergola is stunning. Our kids thoroughly loved the pool and the staff was excellent! We would absolutely stay here again and again!!

It is very clean area overall-outside and inside-,the place to sit outside is wonderful,also the pool (with best view),the service was excellent...if possible,we will cpme back one day or will recommend this property to our friends! Greek Paradise

Our stay at Youphoria Villas was heaven. The villas are perfectly situated on top of rolling hills overlooking the bay. The design and lay out of the villas provides you with a sense of privacy while you enjoy spectacular views. There is easy access to some of Greece's most spectacular beaches and hikes. We enjoyed visiting a new beach every day. The villa was very modern, extremely well maintained and cleaned daily. The staff was extremely welcoming and the villa manager, Giannis, was incredibly helpful and provided us with a number of travel recommendations. He knew all the best restaurants and sites. You will love this place.

Dream holidays in Crete

These holidays were one of the best we have had. The Villa is so beautiful, fantastic vieuws to the sea and the mountains. The owner Vassilis is very friendly and sympathic, also his stuff. The beaches, especially farnafasar are wonderful. The best experience for our family was that all Crete People we met were very very friendly to us- Youphoria stuff, in restaurants, the divingclub in kolympari, the People at the supermarket. Great impression, wonderful and relaxing stay.

The property is beautiful, modern, very well made, nice decorated, and has everything what is needed for a stay at the sea-side. The location is also very nice overseeing the bay of Kissamos and a slope of olive trees, very near to Falassarna, Balos and other marvellous beaches. The property is quite and very private. The swimming pool has the right size for a family. The room and garden service is very good and ready to help as needed. We very much enjoyed our stay and are recommending it without hesitation. Also shopping opportunities are easily accessible.

The best place to be on Crete!

A beautifull house en very, very convenient. The location is excellent, The villa is very clean, good service.I would recommend everyone to stay at Youphoria. We had a nice boattrip to Balos, We went to sfinari for a good fish restaurant and the mountains are beuatifull. Chania is a very nice place to visit.

Wonderful time in a perfect location

We stayed for 4 nights in this dream location and it was perfect. Waking up and being able to enjoy the sun, the view and the house right away is priceless. Also, the beaches close by are wonderful and something you would only expect at exotic places. Hope to come back soon. Thank you for being such a great host and available anytime.

Lovely villas and fantastic service - great stay!!

We stayed in Villa Abyss for two weeks. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived and were met by the owner who gave us lots of suggestions for days out and places to eat. The villa was beautifully cleaned all the time, fresh towels and bedding twice a week too. The villa is lovely and modern, everything in good condition and stylish. There is a dishwasher, full size fridge and freezer, washing machine, cooker and microwave. There is even a juicer and sandwich toaster and we made use of the BBQ. There is an iphone/ipad music dock as well as a TV with just a few channels on. The wifi was reliable, but a bit slow - fine for emails, internet and music streaming but not for big downloads such as films. I did struggle to use the corkscrew, and pair of scissors would be useful to take. The villa is two separate buildings. In one the sitting room and kitchen, with a toilet/shower in this building. The bedroom building has a safe and another bathroom - a Jacuzzi bath and hand held shower attachment. There is facility to sleep in the sitting room making this a three person villa, but to be honest given the layout and the size of the villa, it is really only suitable for two people for any length of time. The outside space is lovely. The pool was a good size and regularly cleaned, the place really was kept spotless. There is a lovely seating area overlooking the bay below. You are up on a hillside so take a cardigan for the odd windy evening, even in July! There are other villas so you do not feel you are totally away from it all, but they are situated so you are not particularly overlooked and all the villas are up a track a few 100m away from the road. It was quiet and quite rural - yet with great access to the main coastal road from where you can drive to anywhere (you do need a car). Just up the road is a mini market and bakery. Kissamos is only a five minute drive away where there is quite a large Carrefour so we didn't struggle to get anything we needed. There are also some nice restaurants where the owners were lovely and welcoming. Try The Cellar on the sea front. Drive towards Falassarna and go to Spilios (10 mins) as well as The Gramboussa in Kaliviani (10 mins). Chania is 40 mins away, ask about the best place to park and recommendations from the owner. A lovely set of villas, beautifully kept, nothing is too much trouble, location is convenient with plenty to do, yet not in an area that is too touristy. Would highly recommend.
