Hi Janet, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Pitchfork 2206. While we are glad that you found the unit to be clean and our team to be responsive, we are disappointed that we did not provide you with a 5-star experience. We are sorry that the home was not a comfortable temperature during your stay. While the listing discloses that this property does not have air conditioning, we are truly sorry that you were unable to fully enjoy your vacation as a result. We do provide one fan per bedroom and have a list of recommendations for keeping our units cool in our guest materials. In addition to keeping the windows open, we urge our guests to keep the blinds closed when they are not in the home. The sun is very strong at our elevation and we have found this helps in reducing the heat. We hope that you were able to sleep comfortably as the temperatures drop significantly during the evening hours. Also, we apologize if the stairs in the home came as a surprise. While we include photos showing views from the second level, as well as the stairwell leading up to the kitchen and living area, we will add that stairs are required to the property description. Additionally, we are always happy to share this information with our guests prior to booking. Please let us know if you ever return to Jackson. Our after hours team works tirelessly to ensure that guests are able to easily reach them, and we are sorry that you were not able to get through to them immediately after arriving. Looking at our phone records, your initial call was placed while our team was on the phone with another guest. They were then able to return your call ten minutes later, allowing you to access your rental 12 minutes after your original call. We certainly understand this was an unfortunate start to your vacation and sincerely apologize again. We appreciate the feedback you provided about the heating in this home, and the situation with the linens. Both of these items have been addressed with the relevant teams, and we were happy to provide a partial refund as these items were not up to our normal Outpost standard.
