Beliggenhed

En privat og fredfyldt oase sat i native haver med udsigt Marion Bay. Rummelig, solrig og møbleret med håndlavede møbler og kvalitet Tasmanian kunst. Masser af fugle, tæt på dyreliv reserve og relikskoven regnskoven.

Lokale seværdigheder

Der er berømte surf pauser i nærheden, og Marion Bay er en populær strand for kitesurfing. Store kajak eventyr, masser af beskyttede farvande under alle forhold. Bush walking er fabelagtig - masser af ture, hel dag, halv dag eller bare langs en øde uberørt strand for et frisk pust.
Tasmanian Devil park og Port Arthur ligger tæt ved. Hvalsafari og adventure ture i området.
Detailhandel terapi til rådighed, let at komme til Hobart og Salamanca, men lokale gallerier og studier har de bedste ting.

Marion Bay Beauty

A beautiful little studio cottage, clean, compact, ideal for a weekend getaway. Distant sea views to Maria Island - sit on the small balcony with a glass of wine and stare at the view, hear the birds in nearby trees, and relax. The hosts left enough provisions for breakfast - good coffee, cereals, fresh milk and butter, bread … enough to start the day. The small kitchenette has a hob and microwave, and there’s a bbq outside. Enough options if you’re eating in in the evening. Marion Bay beach is five minutes drive and one of the best beaches I’ve been to. Port Arthur an easy 40 minute drive, with other stuff to do on the way. But with Van Bone, one of Australia’s best restaurants, an easy walk next door, and Bream Creek Winery next door on the other side, why would you really want to drive anywhere? A great place.

Great Views!

David was good to communicate with. The balcony and views spot on, with great views. The studio is very private. It is a 2minute walk to Van Bone and Bream Creek wines.

Bush break

Everything for a perfect break. Pleasant 300m stroll to Van Bone. Would love to live there - living area NE aspect,surrounded by gorgeous garden. Food supplies👌 Thank you David.

Beautiful setting

My partner and I had a lovely weekend away staying at Beach Breaks. The place was beautiful with amazing views over Marion bay and loads of lovely spots to sit and enjoy the sunshine in the garden. Easy walk to Bream Creek winery and Van Bone which are both amazing. Dave was very responsive and helpful, the fridge and pantry were stocked with essentials and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. A lovely place!

Fabulous stay

We had a fabulous 2 night stay here whilst exploring the beautiful area and enjoying a feast at Vanbone ( easy walk to). The studio is so very comfy with everything you could need for a short stay. Very much appreciated small provisions provided in the fridge on arrival. Hosts great and we will definitely stay again.

Sensational weekend!

Beautiful studio with amazing views, everything you could want and a prime location. Walking distance to the superb Van Bone restaurant and newly opened Bream Creek Cellar Door. Top it off with a long walk on the seemingly endless Marion Bay beach and you have a weekend to remember.

Perfect cosy Marion Bay stay

Just loved this perfect weekend getaway. An easy 40mins from Hobart to such a picturesque part of the East Coast. Studio was beautifully presented - clean and neat with lovely furnishings. Lots of thought put into making this a welcoming homely abode with everything you need. Superbly convenient right between Van Bone and the new Bream Creek cellar door. Make a weekend of it and walk to each!

Beautiful relaxing getaway

Dave’s place is a lovely casual hideaway with a beautiful outdoor deck and amazing view. We booked to go to Van Bone for lunch, which is 300mts down the road & the Cape Raoul track. Easy access and wish we could have stayed longer to experience the area.

Delightful

Stylish and comfortable this cottage is perfect for a couple wanting some privacy but handy to the best the area has to offer (especially the fresh oysters). Sunrise and sunsets from the deck overlooking Marion Bay a daily highlight and if you are in the market for a gourmet winery experience then Van Bone is just next door.

Lovely place, great location

The perfect place to stay for a lunch at Van Bone (a 300m walk), or just to explore the Bream Creek area with its great winery's and stunning views. This "granny flat" has everything you need, is comfortable, well appointed and has a great outdoor deck for soaking up the view. The hosts are lovely. I'll be back.

Bream Creek Brilliance!

Absolutely amazing 2 night stay with my partner for a friend's wedding. Epic location and fantastic studio! Had such a great time there and chatting with Steph and Dave about the location and a bit of their history. And also Clive! The best husky ever! Perfect pairing for lunch

We stayed two nights at this delightful studio, just a short stroll from Van Bone restaurant where we had a long lunch. Dave and Steph are lovely and very friendly. We really appreciated the breakfast provisions that were provided. Very relaxing stay.

Peacefull, convenient,great views.

Studio was the perfect “escape” from the chaos of a home water leak disaster. Quiet and convenient location to great wineries, restaurants and south east Tassie’s special charm.

A sanctuary

I love staying at the Studio. The views are sublime: across the deck and Steph's garden tapestry, over emerald paddocks and an ever-changing ocean to Maria Island. The simplicity of the Studio's design with its emphasis on Tasmanian timber is grounding. The proximity of the Studio to great destinations is more than convenient. I feel totally recharged when I leave. 5/5

Lovely tucked away studio

The view is beautiful, the furniture delightful. This is a compact and well appointed studio apartment. Great for a couple and very quiet and peaceful.

Everyone in the area has great views over the bay. As does Beachbreaks and includes indicators for all compass points from Hellfire to the narrows (if one’s attention is drawn to the ocean.) If not then the garden will delight you as it does for the birds.
