We really enjoyed our stay, the lodge was a great design with tasteful finishes,and a spectacular view. We were impressed by the very generous and good quality food hamper, the fire was a wonderful touch and the bed so comfortable. We will certainly be back. Belinda 2007

PERFECT! Thoughtfully designed lodges with lots of air and light. An amazing, ever changing, vista to immerse yourself in. Really comfortable bed, huge bathroom, great kitchen with everything you could possibly need....and yes the brownies are delicious!

Amazing Views, amazing lodge!

POSITIVES - One of the best places I have stayed in the Hunter Valley, morning sunrises are second to none and the location is quite close to everything and so quiet at night. Great place to put the feet up and relax. NEGATIVES - breakfast that was included on arrival, but all the musli packets were out of date by 1 whole year, a fair few mosquitos and bugs flying around due to an opened window that had no fly screen, broken oven/cooktop electrical switch, very unsafe. DVD player not working and tv channels not working (reception issues) BBQ dirty. Generally I think some maintenance on the place should be completed to upkeep the condition of the place as it’s in a prime location and for the amount we paid it could have had some more TLC.

Perfect little getaway

Sam was very pleasant and quick to reply to all messages. The lodge was everything we wanted for our little getaway. The views are simply stunning, watching the sunrise in the morning was definitely a highlight. The lodge was cozy and homely and having a wine next to the fireplace topped it off for us! Will recommend to everyone!

Getaway

Perfect location and tranquility. Lovely to wake up to the birds. The lodge is extremely comfortable but could be a bit cleaner.

Great View, Relaxed and Peaceful

Stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. Everything from the coffee machine to the hamper provisions was great. And the view looking down the mountain was wonderful. The only issue we had was with the ceiling fan in the lounge room. Was a very hot weekend and the fan spins in the opposite direction so the wind blows upwards instead of downwards. With no air conditioning in that part of the unit (a/c only in bedroom), made it a little uncomfortable. A simple fix, I'm sure.

Amazing stay

We loved staying at this property. Beautiful views. Super relaxing. The property owners had thought of everything. My only suggestion is to add an ipod dock. The food provided for breakfast was so fresh and they had thought of everything. It was so great to wake up and cook our own breakfast before heading out for the day visiting the vineyards. There is a beautiful restaurant, Bistro Molines, down the road and we highly recommend eating there too. We would happily stay at this property again! Loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay! The property is very well maintained in a beautiful quiet location, with amazing views. The breakfast provisions were also a very nice touch. Would happily return!

Peaceful and stunning

We stayed in the one bedroom lodge for our anniversary and it was exactly what we needed. We had a lovely, indulgent and relaxing weekend. It's such a pretty and peaceful location with gorgeous views. Even though we were keen to check out the wineries, we were tempted not to leave the lodge. We even cancelled our Sat night restaurant reservation to stay home and eat cheese and drink wine by the fire. The bed was comfortable, the shower was huge and light-filled, the kitchen was great and the food provided was wonderful. Although I was a bit disappointed to miss out the brownies which I had read about in other reviews. Literally the only thing I could suggest is to provide bodywash and ketchup/BBQ sauce for the bacon and eggs. Otherwise the lodge was perfect and Sam was great to liaise with. Highly recommend.

An Incredible Modern Treehouse

From the moment you walk into this property you will feel totally at ease. These lodges are an absolute delight and tick every box, in every single way. Super clean and equipped with everything you might need (including a gorgeous array of food and drinks) you'll have the best nights sleep you've ever experienced. Highly, highly recommended for the perfect getaway with views that'll leave you breathless from start to finish.

Just love this property!!

Mount View Lodge is a one of a kind type. Just stunning. As soon as we stepped in the door, I remembered my stay there about 5years ago. So relaxing, great energy and that view....out of this world!

Amazing views perfect atmosphere!

Couldn't rate this beautiful property highly enough. We had the most relaxing enjoyable stay, from the minute we walked in to see the stunning views of the mountains to when we left. The lodge was full of delicious fresh food! Breakfast with the view was magical. We will be going back as soon as possible. No need to leave the lodge we had everything we needed there.

Beautiful inside and out

What an amazing location, on the side of the hill with uninterrupted views of the fields and trees below. The lodge was beautiful inside and while the concrete floor could be a little chilly, once the fire was roaring, everyone was toasty. Well appointed kitchen had everything you could need. Provisions for breakfast were provided and were fabulous - first place I've stayed with a coffee pod machine, combined with the best brownies ever made great morning tea.

Beautiful Location. Excellent Stay!

We stayed at Mount View Lodges over the recent long weekend and were blown away by the location. Absolutely stunning and within a couple of min drive to nearby wineries. Breakfast provisions were provided for the entire stay which was a great touch. The view made it a great place to relax after a day driving around the wineries and we'd definitely have no hesitation staying there again.

Piece and quiet with a fantastic view!!!!

Stayed here for two nights for my birthday. What a fantastic place, very cosy in front of the fire enjoying the beautiful view. Every thing you need for a stress free time away.
