My family and I have stayed at VRBO properties in Estes Park about ten times over the years. Anne’s Chalet is by far the best of them all. It’s beautiful located, clean as a whistle, and well equipped with every kitchen utensil one can wish for (and a few surprising ones, like scotch tape and a deck of cards.) The owner was super responsive. When I texted him about where the grill tools were, he had an Uber deliver some, because the ones he originally had were missing. Can’t say enough good things about this property.

We had an amazing stay at this stunning house overlooking Rocky Mountain National Park. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the house itself was beautifully decorated with so much thought and intention. We especially loved all of the extra decorative lighting, which made the home feel warm, cozy, and inviting.Communication with Darrren was excellent from start to finish, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. He even recommended a local bakery for a celebration cake, Mountain Berry Bakery, which turned out to be incredibly delicious. Darren has been the best communicator I ever had with renting a house. He truly wants your stay to be the best and most memorable and anyway he can make it better, he will! The new hot tub was also a fantastic addition and the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the mountains.We would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and would gladly stay here again!

Great Vacation

Christmas at Ann’s Chalet

We were looking for a place to gather to celebrate Christmas together and Ann’s Chalet did not disappoint! Darren and family had decorated the entire home tastefully for Christmas which made it so cozy and perfect for relaxing. Everything you can possibly need for cooking and celebrating. Our family enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. The house was comfortable with lots of room to spread out. We ate all our dinners on the deck while enjoying the lovely view. Darren was responsive to all our needs. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Excellent location and immaculate inside.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was large, clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Our only minor complaint was figuring out the thermostat, which always dropped to 55 degrees at night! Highly recommended!

Because of that issue we have now included thermostat instructions with the rental paperwork and have included the same instructions in the information book we have at our home. I hope you will contact us for any future trips to Estes Park. We checked in right after you left and I have to say that winter months in Estes Park are probably my favorite.

Amazing property!

All the prior reviews are accurate, this is a fantastic property. It has plenty of space, the kitchen is very well stocked, and the location is great. You can have every meal in the deck with a great view of the mountains and Mary's lake. This house really deserves more than the 5 stars.

Well equipped, Clean, welcoming, perfect place for our family!

Loved this home. Everything we could possibly need was available in the kitchen. We had plenty of room and the owners notes, decorations and special touches just make you feel welcome and right at home during your stay. We loved it!!!

Great location

We loved that the house seemed close to the Beaver Meadows entrance of RMNP. We went for a wedding, but also explored parts of Estes Park and RMNP. Loved how the house provided all your essential needs. It was easy to communicate with the owner. The view was just the best!

Our experience was top notch and we wouldn’t have traded it for anything. The house was absolutely beautiful, the scenery was awesome and it was a short drive to town. Wedding stay

This property far exceeded our expectations! Stayed for 7 days for our daughters wedding at Wild Basin Lodge, also an awesome experience. I would highly recommend this place to stay, you will not be disappointed. The view from the rear deck is unbelievable. The place is spotless and has everything you could ever need. Will stay here again I'm sure.

RMNP Family Trip

This was the best VRBO experience I have had where the pictures and reality matched in every way! The property is immaculate and so comfortable. All of our guests commented on the comfortableness of the beds. The kitchen and bathrooms are excellently stocked and the location is very beautiful and peaceful. We saw deer, elf and wild turkeys from the property. It was a perfect home for our trip!

Absolutely wonderful!

This was the best VRBO that we have ever stayed in. The views from the back deck were spectacular. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. Darren was such a nice host. This house was beautiful, spacious and had everything our family of five needed. We woke up early most morning to watch the sun rise from the deck and the deer often walked into the property to the delight of my children. Darren was a delight to work with. I highly recommend this home.

Our connection to the Rocky Mountains goes back many years. Both of our families spent time here while we were growing up, and Estes Park quickly became a place we returned to again and again. Our first vacation together as a couple was here, followed by many more trips with our sons, building traditions and memories over time.

When the opportunity came to purchase a vacation home, Estes Park felt like the natural choice. Ann’s Chalet was created as a place to slow down, enjoy the setting, and share the kind of experience we value as guests ourselves—comfortable, well cared for, and thoughtfully managed.

Guests often appreciate being close to everything they came to experience, while still returning to a quiet, spacious setting at the end of the day.
