Close to town but a world away, overlooking the river and surrounded by nature. The house was spacious and super comfortable.

Such a lovely home to relax & recharge in. The outlook from the balcony is mesmerising and the whole place was perfect. We loved our special weekend away with great friends in such a beautiful environment

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful time at this property - the location, amenities and views were amazing. Easy walk into town and down to the river via caravan park. The outdoor bath was great and fits x2 perfectly. Highly recommended if you want a weekend away with peace and tranquility. Thank you Jeana!

Incredible Getaway

We just returned from the most glorious long weekend at The Tree House. The property is so beautiful, perched amongst the huge gums, the peace and quiet is incredible, with just a hint of the river trickling gently and the birds singing. We felt like we were there for a long time, not just a few days. The outdoor bath is the perfect way to really unwind and connect to the sounds of nature. The decor is gorgeous and luxe feeling. Thank you so much. I cannot express how much this was needed. The property delivered exactly the right medicine for this stressed out executive couple. Wow! It exceeded our expectations.

Wonderfully peaceful and private getaway

Beautiful property. The outside bath is amazing. House fully equipped and hosts fantastic. Our only gripe was no tea towels (we found one under the sofa when we were cleaning up before check out). Also a pair of socks under the bed from previous guests. And we could have done with more hand towels in the bathrooms as no bath mat provided. The facility of a clothes line or airer would have been good. Lastly, there could have been a wider selection of glassware but overall it was fantastic and I would highly recommend and plan to return again.

Hi Kelly Thankyou for your review. To expand on these comments our market that we cater to is 1-2 couples we do not normally offer accommodation to a group of singles. We allowed this as a one off. We supply 1 hand towel and 1 bath mat per bathroom and 2 tea towels which are hung on the oven door. The glassware we provide is more than adequate for couples. I have forwarded your review onto our contract cleaners for follow up however please keep in mind that they did photograph the condition of the towelling in the bathroom after your departure recomending full replacement due to how heavily stained they were. We of course have covered this replacement cost & chose not to deduct this from your rental bond at this time. We have also decided that we will not accept any further group bookings moving forward at The Treehouse as it does not align with us. Kindest regards Jeana

Lovely stay

The property was presented beautifully and fitted out with everything we needed. The gorgeous fire place made the rather large house warm (eventually). My only drawback was that the listing didn’t presented the property as it really is. It is not a treehouse (just a house with trees in backyard). The listing also gives the impression that it a secluded & intimate cottage with complete privacy. In reality, it is a family house with neighbours on either side. There’s nothing wrong with the place, it was beautiful, but not what I was expecting. Also, the constantly creaking lounge was quite annoying when you’re enjoying the peace.

Hi Ania I am sorry our “Treehouse” didn’t live up to your expectations. I would also like you to know that you are the very first guest to mention this out of over 500 reviews we have received on numerous booking platforms, majority being 5 star. For any readers reading this review please note all imagery in these pictures are true representations of our property’s offerings. What you see is what you get. The large outdoor deck fully wraps around 2 large gum trees which you can see in the photos so is incorporated into the houses architecture making the house “a treehouse”. We do not make any claims in our listing that we are on acreage or that we are remote. We have a very large privacy screen which you can see in images screening the outdoor bath & some of the deck. I hope this response provides future guests some clarity.

Property good

Whilst we had a very relaxing time and the house was great the property needed some tlc There were lots of cobwebs and leaf litter on the door and window screens and 2 large dead branches on the roof which I removed.. The gutters were also full of leaves. There was no shampoo supplied as stated only hair conditioner (4 bottles) and one small tuge of shower fell. Vinegar would have been a useful addition in the larder and maybe a bottle of wine and some cheese on arrival would have been a nice touch. The exhaust over the stove didn't work. I have holidayed in many locations across NSW and these details were included in much less evpensive stays. Just some thoughts.

Hi An Thankyou for your feedback -River Bliss is enveloped in nature there are loads of trees surrounding the property wish is beautiful however at the same time requires constant maintainenannce as mother nature always wants to take control!. This stay was amazing. Jeana was so efficient with all commumication and made sure our stay was a lovely weekend away. The place is just wonderful. Location stunning. The Golf Course down the road had the loveliest meals and there are lovely coffee places for morning breakfast. The long walking track through Kangaroo Valley was a wonderful way to experience the town. The fireplace and bath in the home were such a lovely winter treat. Would recommend to anyone. Pristinely clean and cosy. Views from the back rooms are so peaceful and invigorating for the soul.

Beautiful location in Kangaroo Valley

The Treehouse is a beautiful location in the heart of Kangaroo Valley. It was perfect for our weekend away as we loved sitting on the deck in the afternoon and enjoying the cosy fireplace at night. The house has everything you need and is a short 10 minute walk to town. We will definitely be back for another weekend escape.

Awesome place!

My wife and I stayed at the Tree House for 4 nights. We were looking to get away from the COVID doldrums and this place was perfect. We went during exceptionally hot weather and it was great (with the caveat that the AC is only in the lounge room, so sleeping was warm). The deck was great (although we didn't use it much due to the cicadas, who are apparently having a bumper year following the bush fires). Regardless, we did get to gaze down at the river. You can also easily see the river from the lounge room. There is river access, which we made use of, although you'll need to be a little dextrous. The location is great. Neighbours were quiet and friendly. It's very close to the bridge either walking or going down the river. It's about a 10 minute walk to town (we spotted a mob of kangaroos on the right). I'd recommend bringing food with you as there's not much in town. The pub beer garden was quite nice for a sundowner. Our doggy thoroughly enjoyed her stay too! Although we went in summer, I think it would be fab in winter too, since there's a nice wood burning oven. The house itself is very nice too, with nice decorations and furniture. The kitchen had everything you need including morning coffee ground for the plunger. We've stayed in dozens of places globally, and this one is up there as one of the top.

Wonderful escape

We had such a comfortable stay, cozy fireplace, fire pit, exploring if the river, comfy beds and stylish interiors - we felt so at home and didn’t want to leave. Already planning our return!

Fabulous stay at a gorgeous property

We had a lovely mid week getaway. The property is beautiful and well equipped. The soft furnishings are very tasteful making you feel right at home from the get-go! Would definitely return.

Idyllic property

The property doesn’t look much from the road but it is one of the nicest we have stayed in the rooms are beautiful and overlook the bush and river. It is very peaceful and private. It is well equipped and local shops nearby, highly recommend

Beautiful location

This is a beautiful property in a beautiful location. A quick stroll to the village and a relaxing view over the river from the balcony.
