We’re wondering if this review, or portions of it, may have been intended for another property. Our cabin is located in the mountains and does not have a lake or a dock, so the reference to enjoying the home's “nice large dock” does not describe our property. Like most mountain homes in the area, our cabin does not have air conditioning. Temperatures are typically cool enough that it isn’t necessary, although this summer has brought some unusually warm days. For those rare occasions, we provide multiple portable fans throughout the home in addition to a ceiling fan. We’re also concerned by the comment regarding the sheets. Our cleaning team typically does stellar work, and we were not contacted about any issue with the linens during the stay. Had we known, we would have addressed it immediately. Given the reference to a significant feature our property simply does not have, we’re unsure whether the comments regarding the linens, dust, and air conditioning were all intended for our cabin. We take legitimate feedback seriously and would absolutely want the opportunity to address any issue that occurred at our property.

The upstairs bunk nook tends to be a favorite for little ones and we’re so glad your kiddo enjoyed it. We’ve worked hard to make the MOFOCOHO feel cozy, well-stocked, and easy to enjoy after long days in the mountains, so it means a lot to hear that the hot tub, movie nights, games, and location all helped make for a great stay. Come back anytime. We’d love to host your crew again!

Thanks so much for your feedback—we really do appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the location and got good use out of the hot tub after skiing—that’s one of our favorite parts too. I also appreciate your patience while we addressed the water issue. We had a plumber out right away to get that resolved as quickly as possible. A few clarifications, just for accuracy: • The microwave is brand new and fully operational. • The TV in the living room is also in working order—we did not receive any messages during your stay about issues and would have been happy to help troubleshoot, as it appears to have been a setup/user issue. • There are additional towels stocked in the hallway dresser, which are available for guest use. • All bedding has been replaced within the past year and is cleaned and turned over between every stay. That said, we take cleanliness and guest comfort seriously, and your comments about areas needing deeper attention (under furniture, around/above the stove) have been shared with our cleaning team for follow-up. We’re always working to improve, and feedback like this helps us do that. Thank you again for staying with us.
