Serenity Halls Gap: National Park Frontage

It sounds like you made the most of everything we love about this spot. Having the Grampians National Park right behind the property makes it so easy to head out for a walk, while Halls Gap is just a short stroll away in the other direction. I’m especially pleased the family enjoyed the wildlife and roasting marshmallows together around the fire pit — those are the sort of holiday memories we hope our guests take home with them. Thank you for such a thoughtful review. We’re delighted that Serenity felt like a home away from home and that you found everything spacious, comfortable and well equipped for your stay. It sounds as though the local wildlife put on quite a show from the rear patio — kangaroos, birds and ducks, along with a very Australian early-morning wake-up call from the kookaburras! One of the things we love most about Serenity is being right on the edge of the National Park, surrounded by wildlife and peaceful bushland, yet still close enough to stroll into Halls Gap for the shops, cafés and restaurants. It’s also wonderful to hear that our communication and the information provided made your arrival and departure easy and that everything was as you expected. I’m sorry that several things weren’t up to the standard you reasonably expected during your stay, particularly the cleanliness of the BBQ and house, as well as the appliance issues. I’m also disappointed that, despite you contacting us, we didn’t resolve those concerns during your four-night stay—we should have done better. We take pride in the standard of our Halls Gap accommodation, and we have since addressed the issues you mentioned.
