This was a girls trip with 3 of us and worked great. Staff communication was great. The house was in a good location and easy to find with lots of walking trails. It was clean with the necessary items to cook with including a grill. Great deck area. Would be great with kids due to bunk beds. Mattresses could be more comfortable but loved the pillows. The hot tub wasn’t hot and turned into bubble central with the jets on but the team said they would look into. Kurig had lots of options. We would stay here again.

Thank you for the review! We’re glad the home was a great fit for your girls trip and that you enjoyed the location, walking trails, deck space, and well stocked kitchen. We also appreciate your kind words about our team's communication. Thank you as well for the feedback regarding the mattresses and hot tub. We appreciate you bringing those items to our attention, and our team will continue to follow up on the hot tub concerns. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay overall and would choose to stay with us again! - Colton, Bennington Guest Relations

Comfortable house

We enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion is to get a better bed in the second bedroom. Bouncy and not very comfortable. Otherwise great !

September 2019 Stay

Finding the code to open the door was a nightmare. It was not included in the original document I received though it was indicated as such in the communication. It made for a very confusing process, one that was lengthy and irritating. I encourage you to review your process and provide some quality control if you continue with it.

Hi Jodie, I'm so sorry there were issues with your door code coming through to you. How frustrating. I'm showing that everything is in the system properly, however I do know the software we've been using for this communication has had some issues this summer and we are actively working to finding a better system since we are finding the current software to no longer be 100% reliable. I do apologize for the inconvenience, and I hope you had an enjoyable stay otherwise.

A bit below average

A check in time of 5pm is just too late. This is never going to be convenient for people driving in from far away. We want to unpack and settle in before dinner and have time to do something. A check in that late wastes a day of vacation. For short stays it's better to stay in a hotel where you can check in at 3 and out by 11. The house was fine overall but needs a couple repairs. The upstairs bathroom Door doesn’t close all the way or lock. Most annoying was that almost all of the outlets need to be replaced, they are too loose. Any cord plugged into the wall will just fall out. So it was frustrating not being able to plug things in where we needed them. It's also a fire hazard to have plugs barely making connections with the receptacle and flicking on and off because of the loose connection. The Master bed was too wobbly and rickety. When we first walked in my wife laughed as she could push the footboard and it moved about 10", there was that much play in the frame, it was ridiculously loose. How do people not notice this when servicing the house? I had tools in my car so I was able to tighten the bolts, but half the bolts were stripped. I also used two cargo come-along straps to hold the bed frame tighter. I didnt like having to spend 40 minutes working on the bed (and it was still too squeaky for me). The DVD player in the living room didn’t work. The internal motor that spins the dvd was broken.

Enjoyable stay

I rented this property for a few days while attending a conference at the Sunriver Resort. It was great! We had everything we needed and had a great time. It was very easy to find and close to the Village and the Sharcc (though the SHARCC was closed for the season.) Bennington Properties is very easy to work with! I will use them again.

Homey, cozy, great layout and room for all.

We rented this property with my adult daughter and toddler grandson, and my 17 year old son with two of his friends. The bedrooms are perfect for a large group and we loved the upstairs living space as we could all be in the same room eating, cooking, watching tv. The bikes are fun and the hot tub was relaxing.

Great property even if the weather was uncooperative!

Great value, well laid out floor plan, and a great, quiet location. And finally, a bed that did not break my back! We definitely recommend this property.

Nice property

We have rented many units and this one was one of our favorites. It was updated and pretty clean. We appreciated the prompt attention to the DVD players not working. They changed them out right away. The only thing that would have been nice was having SHARC passes.
