It was wonderful having Kyle and his family as guests at Villa Lobo. I believe they had a great week long stay. The Ontario thing that is referred to is the temporary ban by the Halton Fire Dept on outdoor camp fires due to the hot weather, but the ban was soon lifted, so they could use the fire pit provided. Wouldn't hesitate to have them back as guests.

It was such a delight having Jennifer and her wonderful family stay at Villa Lobo! What a pleasure to host such nice and warm people - this is one of the distinct benefits of having vacationers stay, that you get to meet such interesting and worldly guests! The day we went up to see if they had settled in OK, they were so affable and invited us to sit with them. Even though our practice is to not to intrude on guests, we accepted their gracious offer. Well, we talked for ages exchanging memories of our travel and musical reminiscenses from our time in England. We left with such a good feeling and were so happy that they had enjoyed their stay! If you ever have the chance to host them, jump at it, they were a pleasure to deal with! We ourselves would love to host them again and truly hope our paths cross again. We're sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. We've had so many compliments regarding our property -- especially at this time of year -- and often the low drone of a passing train on a vintage rail line either isn't noticed by our clients or they consider it part of the country experience that they're searching for. Children especially get a kick out of the trains as many have not been exposed to this mode of travel where they live. When you requested a Corkscrew in our conversation the next day, I wish you had raised the matter, as we could have tried to remedy the situation. All of our windows have been upgraded to keep outside sounds low. Other guests have raved about the relaxing atmosphere of our home and we have many return clients. We'll check with the train company to see if anything has changed in their practices in the past few weeks which might explain your experience. However, so far this summer we've had nothing but glowing reviews from our 'happy campers.' Kind Regards.

It was such a pleasure hosting Suneet, his sister and their lovely parents from Sutton, England. We are really glad that they enjoyed their stay at Villa Lobo. Every occasion we met was so cordial and friendly. They kept the cottage super clean throughout their month long stay and were such charming guests. As I had lived in England during the seventies, and Suneet and his family had originally lived in Canada, we were able to share so much about past experiences we'd had in each others' countries. I would highly recommend them as guests to the HomeAway community and would gladly have them back at Villa Lobo. We shall always have fond memories of their visit to Villa Lobo and I sincerely hope our paths cross again.

We knew when we first purchased this cottage that it would appeal to a wide group of people because of its peaceful and lovely location and the comfort aspects we have installed within its walls.
