Placeret på Mt. Crested Butte langs skibus rute, dette hjem sover 15!
Stor træ brændende pejs mellem en rummelig stue og spisestue, ekstra opholdsstue på loftet. Foråret 2017 blev alle de vigtigste køkkenapparater udskiftet med nye rustfrit stål apparater. Kong seng i master, som indeholder sin egen rummelige badeværelse, ekstra konge i 3. sal soveværelse. De resterende 3 værelser inkluderer en dronning seng, en anden med en dobbelt & en tvilling, mens den sidste er udstyret med 2 pyramide køjesenge. Masser af plads til hele familien til at sove komfortabelt efter en eventyrlig dag på ski og / eller vandreture & fiskeri !! (Der opkræves et ekstra rengøringsgebyr på $ 180 på ophold, der er 3-4 nætter.)

Nice but dated and a lot of stairs

Location and overall this house was ok. The kitchen could have been cleaner and there were many stairs to navigate. The bathrooms and fixtures were functional but dated. The bedroom basement had only 1 electric plug and the beds were a bit soft.

Amazing Crested Butte getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home site was on a neighborhood street where our young kids could safely ride bikes . The unobstructed view from the back of the house made us feel we were in a national park! Deer and horses, hawks and bluebirds filled the valley and the silence made us feel we were a million miles away from civilization. The house has older furnishings but very functional for the most part. The beds were very comfortable. Our concerns were addressed by the management company. We would come back! Thank you.

Spacious Mountain Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location with lots of room for all of us. We were attending a wedding at the Mountain Wedding Garden - close enough to walk. The free shuttle stop was just up the street and the shuttle drivers dropped us off at the end of the driveway when it was raining. The place could use a good cleaning - we used the bottom floor bedroom but needed to clean out some spiders first. Main floor is great with fireplace for those chilly mornings!

Perfect location; great layout

Check in/out super easy. We loved the room layouts + fireplace & kitchen, which we used a lot. Had 9 adults + 3 small children & had plenty of room for everyone. Views are stunning & house is comfortable. Mgmt was prompt in responding before our trip & were helpful in orienting us to the area & knowing what to expect when I called. (didn't need to contact them during our stay) They even called us when we left a set of expensive ear buds at the house after checkout so that we could return & grab them. Very cool! Shuttle service for skiing is awesome. Be aware only master BR has ensuite bath. Mattress toppers need to be replaced... a couple of the beds felt more like hammocks. We'd def stay again.

Really, it was all about the view & it was awesome!

Property was in a great setting! Neighborhood was very nice & close to town with free bus service if needed. House was large enough for our group of 9 with 4 regular bedrooms & one loft that slept a minimum of 4. Kitchen was nicely updated. We loved the option of eating outside on the beautiful patio! If we had any complaints it would be that it could have been cleaned more thoroughly before our arrival. We found mouse droppings in the kitchen (on the counter & in some of the cabinets.) We found visible mouse traps under the sink but they were thankfully empty!😳We heard those critters though as they were pretty active from what sounded like within the walls. Sorry to have to complain about this but all your guests may not be as tolerant as we were of these little furry guys! Hope this helps to get an exterminator out there.

Thank you for your feedback and letting us know about the mouse problem. Unfortunately, rodents are a downfall of mountain homes, that is why we have mouse traps in the house. We will have the house checked by a professional.

Not the best / not the worst...

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at several places in CB- and this place is not the best, but it’s not the worst. No garage- which I guess I missed when looking initially. One of the cabinets was FULL of mouse droppings. We just pinned that cabinet shut. Pretty sure there was a dead mouse somewhere as there was flies in the house in the middle of winter. One of the toilets (lower level) did not flush well at all- and zero recycling facilities. All of that said, it probably has every kitchen gadget you could want or need.

We do apologize that your stay was not 100% to your expectation. Sadly, we have no record of your discussing nor attempting to contact the property manager during your stay by any means of communication. This is a rare (negative) review and has caught us by surprise given the most recent 20+ positive reviews received. Given that the location of the garage is located at the bottom/lower level of the home we have never advertised the availability of a garage at any time (especially in the winter/snow season). Additionally this being a mountain home that is located at 9,800’ above sea level in the National Forrest... sadly we deal constantly with mice, flies and all other types’ critters ALL year round the best we can. The issue you experienced with the cabinet/droppings is a rare incident from what we normally experience and we apologize. We have ordered an inspection of all the toilets as well as scheduled a follow up service call by our exterminator. We did have other guests check out of the home just before your arrival and none of the above concerns were referenced nor reported. Regardless we do hope that you will return to Crested Butte at any location to enjoy all that the ski area and town has to offer its visitors.

Needs updating

The location is great, the sleeping arrangements were also good. Unfortunately, it is clear that this property is being neglected. The major issue is the deck—this is dangerous. The deck shakes and has VISIBLE structural concerns. This is unacceptable. The microwave doesn’t work but there is a second, small countertop microwave that semi-works. The dishwasher needs to be left open or it will run. The ice machine only worked on the last day we were there despite PM coming to “fix it.” Overall, it’s a decent place and only needs a little mai ramen even to make it great. But the deck...just neglectful.

Kyle, we do want to apologize for the last minute need to provide/supply a back-up microwave oven for your stay, as we did experience a unexpected issue with the existing one just before your arrival. All other appliances have been checked and inspected and all are in fine working order at this time. All stainless steel appliances were replaced in 2017. Two other parties/guests have since visited the home since your stay with no comments or concerns reported. We do take exception to your comments about the deck and your perceived negligence on our part. The deck was newly built in 2017 and per city code and requirement… a structural engineer design and permit was mandated and required before the City would issue and approve the building permit. It passed with flying colors and continues to pass the city’s annual inspection permitting process to short term rent the home. This is the first negative comment or concern that we have received about our deck since it’s construction 4 years ago. The newly constructed deck and the view that it offers has always been a Top 1 or 2 positive comment about our home (to enjoy the view) by our guest. At any rate… we do hope you will return to Crested Butte at any location to enjoy all that the ski area and the town has to offer it’s visitors.

Great house with wonderful mountain views!

Had a great ski weekend with friends. Great accommodations and space for a large group, we had 12 people. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary equipment, but don't count on them for spices! :) Great location by the mountain, access to town. Fireplace was wonderful!

Great ski house for a large group!

Great trip for extended family

Reviewer Comments: As regulars to Crested Butte, we often stay in Condo's, but this year we had extended family joining us and wanted somewhere we could all stay together. This house was perfect as the main level allowed everyone to have room, the kitchen was of good size, and there were plenty of bedrooms. We also loved that the shuttle ran right by this location. We would definitely consider staying her again with a group of the same size (12).

Beautiful views, terrible management if anything goes wrong

Upon arrival we checked and found evidence of bedbugs included 2 dead bugs, black dots appearing to be bug excrement and tons of bug exoskeleton on right corner of boxpring below mattress. Inspected all other beds and found no other bugs. Immediately called PR property management company to communicate finding and see if there was an alternative place to stay. The only alternative was a house that was not suitable for our family. Since there were 6 of us and the house accommodates 15, nobody slept on the floor with the room with bedbugs. We chose to stay since the property was otherwise nice and appeared to be well-maintained. If we had been a large group or had been forced to sleep on that floor, we would have had to cancel our reservation, cancel our vacation, and just drive back home – 16 hours away. We called Monday to see about a professional exterminator to come out to check other beds for bedbugs and a man named Greg who introduced himself as the President of the PR property management company very rudely explained that we did not see any bedbugs, that they did not exist in the mountains, that he had been in the business for 30 years, and “how old are you anyways – YEAH.” He noted that our option was to leave the property and be refunded for nights we did not stay, or stay and accept the risk. We explained that there were no alternative locations to stay due to the holiday weekend and he told us to “go home then.” The conversation with this man was extremely unpleasant; he was patronizing, insulting, and accusatory, insisting we just wanted money, that we brought the bedbugs, that if it were up to him he would evict us immediately. Due to the hostility of the conversation, we reached out directly to the owner, unsure as to whether the property management company had even communicated the property issue to the owner. The owner was extremely nice, but we were offered no discount for the unused bedrooms which was disappointing since we paid for full use of the house and this floor was unusable. This house has nice views, but the contact at the PR property management company was incredibly vile towards us when we brought a problem with the property to their attention. We love Colorado and love Crested Butte, but will certainly never choose to return to this property again in the future.

Very close to slopes & beautiful views

Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay & would stay again. House was very clean, beds are comfortable, plenty of towels, easy to spread out, fireplace & panoramic views were wonderful. Only negatives were no garage access in the winter & if the snow/ice gets compacted on the sloped driveway, you’ll need 4-wheel drive or sand/kitty litter to get out (however, driveway does get plowed if there is 6” or more of snow). Property management was great, very easy to communicate. Shuttle stop is right by the house but you can also walk to slopes.
