Scarborough Beach

Location and property was very good, but the view is only of a small corner of the beach and the property, while very clean and comfortable, could do with some updating.On-site staff were very helpful and easily accessable - the beach was close, as were local bars and restaurants. A good place to stay.

Check in was easy and the place was great. There was a bit of a sewage smell coming from the front bathroom so we had to keep all the doors open with air con on as it drifted through to the living room. We were out most of the day so didn’t affect us and everything else was fine.

Hi Valerie, Thanks for your review and it is a shame you did not report the odour to us during your stay so we could come and investigate it at the time. We have not received any complaints from the bookings since your departure and the Building Manager attended this week and conducted a thorough inspection of the property, bathroom, cavities plus moisture readings and nothing unusual was detected. We are disappointed this impacted your stay but we are glad you enjoyed it otherwise. We hope we can welcome you back again in the future! Many thanks, The team at Observation Rise

Clean comfortable good location. A little noisy from main road but ok. Facilities good and parking easy. A couple of maintenance things light switch but sure these will be fixed. Perfect for a stay in Scarborough near everything beach and plenty of restaurants.

Amazing place

Beautiful apartment and great location. Neat and elegant style and still super cozy ambiente! Easy instructions to find everthing, quick and easy Communication. Close to anything you could need. Besides the noisy bikers and construction site that was fortunately closed over the public holidays it was perfect ! Thanks a lot!

Scarborough

Lovely, as we were staying with small children we had to to take or the ornaments off and hide them in a cupboard, we also had to push the glass table into the corner for our peace of mind. Blinds that kept the light out would have been amazing, but overall a a great stay.

Pleasant and comfortable

* Trees needed cutting back to enhanced ocean view from patio * The oven/grill did not work and manager was unable to fix during our stay * Shower head fitting leaked and sprayed everywhere, but was fixed during our stay * The parking space allocated to the unit was extremely difficult to access next to a concrete wall
