Great spot right on the beach

Can’t ask for a better place to spend a beach vacation. This is our second time visiting and we love it. There’s only 11 units in this condo building which makes the beach less crowded than other places with larger complexes.

80th Birthday Celebration

Very nice condo, beautiful view of the ocean, very clean and comfortable. Great location. Would highly recommend.

Love the views and location. Floors were disgusting when we arrived. Transition pieces on floor were cracked and would pinch your foot if not paying attention to where you stepped. Had ants in room very bad constantly squishing them and getting them off furniture. Missing shades on window and door blinds.

Beautiful beach property!

It’s very close to the Gulf coast facing beach! You can hear the waves all night. Easy check-in process. Will definitely come back here again!

Condo vacation

Our first time to rent a condo at the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed it and loved having the space, the view, and the kitchen. Really enjoyed the balcony and spent a lot of time on it.

Beautiful Views!

Everything was as advertised. Very clean and well supplied. The view was absolutely awesome! We even saw dolphins from the balcony several times. Would definitely stay here again!

View absolutely beautiful

Though condo dated, it was very clean. Views breathtaking from balcony. Beautiful view of ocean from living room and master bedroom. Location very convenient for both driving and walking.

Great view and great location

We love Gulf Winds. Great view of the ocean from balcony, kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. Short walk to beach. Short drive to Ft. Pickens. Fun trolley ride into town for restaurants. We will be back.

First time snow bird

Nice condo. Nice location. Stayed for the month of January. Liked that it faced the water. Got to see dolphins and sharks swimming by. Hope to come back next year.

Right on the beach

This listing is right on the beach. AMAZING VIEW . Everything they listed is 100% correct. Its away from the hustle and bustle of the midtown part. They got an elevator to help get up the steps with all your stuff. Super HAPPY with this place. Thank you!!

Best View

This property had the best view of the Gulf and the beach. It was beautifully decorated and fairly comfortable. I would remodel the master bathroom to not separate the toilet from the sink though. I would have appreciated if people left S and P or other non perusable food to be left. I would have appreciated a place to put our food rather than on the counter. On the whole it was a really nice place to stay and we enjoyed it very much.

Beautiful location

It's right on the beach. Responsive management with very little flexibility. Few door locks didn't work and they got one fixed immediately. You can see and hear beach from main bedroom and living room. I missed the mesh in the balcony, otherwise, it was perfect for us.

I’d stay again

The unit itself is exactly, if not better, than the pictures. We extended our stay by a day and wish we could stay longer. The patio was large and had the very best views. Although it is October, we went during fall break and it was not crowded like other beaches we’ve been to. The beds were comfortable. There was an elevator. Communication was excellent. The building needs some repairs - the outdoor water spigots were either not working or rusty and unsafe for little hands. The gate on one side was inoperable unless found propped open. Overall we loved our stay and would love to come back!

Clean, great location, wonderful views

The property was very clean, well-supplied and the few minor issues (broken toilet seat) were repaired quickly and courteously. In addition, our minor problem with the door lock was quickly resolved by the helpful phone rep. The property is in a perfect location with fabulous views and a wonderful porch. We enjoyed coffee and dolphin-sightings every morning we were there and were able to easily walk to the beach. We greatly enjoyed the pool and the covered parking made for a comfortable car during the heat of the day. My one complaint would be the size and comfort of the master bed. A twin bed is too small for two adults. The room could easily handle a queen. Also, the bunk beds in the guest room were shaky and could be sturdier. But the rest of the furniture is perfect for the space and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need. We were able to rent bikes and enjoyed riding up and down Ft Pickens road and made the short walk to Peg Leg Pete's. All in all, a great time at a wonderful location.

Great place! Don't expect refunds or changes.

We had car trouble (engine lifters) that stranded us for 3 days in Madison, FL. I thought maybe the condo would understand...they could care less...no refund. OK, so we lost a night. Got there the second night for our 4-night stay. Absolute lovely condo!!! The beach is exactly what we needed. We wanted to stay an extra night, so I contacted the manager, was quoted a price. We wanted to wait to decide, so the next day, I contacted the manager to confirm the extra day. They said the price "that day" rose $50. I said, "What?! Yesterday you quoted such and such." (I have the texts to prove it.) They said, "Prices are subject to change daily." Wow. We really needed the extra day...and didn't want to pack up and go somewhere else...so we ended up paying the extra. Then they're all like, "Enjoy your stay!! We appreciate you!" Yeah, I bet.

Great vacation!

We have stayed at several Gukf Winds Condos the past 17 yrs! There were insurance adjusters in our condo one day when we came in. Would have been good to know they were going to be coming instead of us just walking in & people in our condo.

Even better than expected!

The apartment was so much better than we expected! It was spotlessly clean and very nicely updated. The balcony had lots of room and was covered and secluded - perfect to sit outside while it was raining, or to take cover from the sun. Will absolutely rent this location again!
