This is ideal accommodation for a large family or group. With the balcony, deck and two living areas everyone can be accommodated. The location is an 11/10 with so many options of things to do so close by. We are a family of 18 and it suited our purposes perfectly, would definitely stay again.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Barefoot Beach House! The location is perfect—just a short walk to a beautiful beach with amazing bay and hill views. The house is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a great spot for relaxation. However, we didn’t find the outdoor shower or tennis court mentioned in the listing. It didn’t affect our stay, but it's worth noting. Overall, a fantastic place to unwind, and we'd love to return!

Hi Celia Thank you for your lovely detailed review and glad that you all had a wonderful stay. We are so sorry that you couldn’t find the outdoor hot and cold shower located behind the house. The tennis court is only 10 min walk from the house that needs to be booked in advance as well. We will organise to book next time on your request. We look forward to see you all again. Thank you for staying with us.

We had a great time at the Barefoot Beach House. We had a girls trip away. Plenty of space and plenty of bathrooms. Loads of parking. Just make sure everyone is is in the same page regarding bonds and payment. We would recommend this property. We had a great stay and we would stay again.

The location of the property is fantastic and perfect for a relaxing stay near the beach. The booking, communication, and check-in process were all very smooth and easy. We were also kindly offered a late checkout, which was amazing for families travelling with small kids and something we really appreciated.A couple of small things could possibly be improved for future guests. There was a bit of confusion around the number of bedrooms and showers from the listing, so adding a little more detail or clarity there might help. We also ran out of tissues after the second night — not sure if they were meant to be complimentary — but since the booking was for a larger group, we expected a little more stocking. We also couldn’t make use of the BBQ as it didn’t appear to be very well cleaned. That said, the property itself is lovely and very spacious. The kids especially enjoyed the unique bed setup and had a lot of fun going up and down. The kitchen was clean and well equipped with plenty of basic items like a toaster and other essentials, which made it easy to prepare meals. Overall, we had a nice stay and appreciate the host’s efforts to make the experience comfortable.

Wonderful spot for weekend away with family or group of friends

We stayed here for a ladies weekend away for a few celebrations. The location was easy and close to everything we wanted to see. Really good stay for large groups with everything you need. Easy check in and check out with easy to follow instructions and a quick exit. I would recommend this for big groups and newbys to the stayz process as the owners are excellent to communicate with and nothing is every a silly questions.

The accommodation was very good. Great location and neat and clean.

We had a great time at dromana. The house was as it was advertised. It is centrally located, clean and spacious. Ample parking off street and close to a local park which was great for the kids. Nice kitchen and large tables. Deck is great for BBQ. There was no condiments, salt, sugar, oil and teabags etc provided so need to keep in mind. Would have been nice if towels were available as well, but was advised before that is not included. Overall, accommodation was nice and host explained everything in detail on arrival.

Plenty of room for 19 people, clean, close to beach.

Overall a great place for a large group to stay. Suggested improvements: flyscreens on windows to allow fresh air in, particularly at night, more sheets and light blankets so guests can have better choice of bedclothes.

Hi Wilfrid, Happy that you enjoyed this clean spacious house located opposite to the beach. Thank you for your feed back and suggestions. As this house has ducted heating and ducted refrigerated air conditioning through out the house giving comforts to our guests all year around with a simple press of a button on the controller. Guests are not expected to open the windows while A/C is on with the refrigerated air conditioning system. We provide enough clean linens, pillows and doonas for all the beds for the number of guests booked in and extra sheet in each room for this price at this location with all the other facilities. I am sure that you would appreciate that we don't charge extra for house keeping charges to accommodate 19 guests. When you come next time kindly talk to us your requirements in detail. We are happy to provide as much as we could anything to make your stay 100% satisfactory. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and we look forward to see your family again. Barefoot beach team

Great location, and suitable for 4-5 families

We stayed at this house over new years in 2018/19. The location is amazing - only 5-10min walk to the beach in Dromana. We stayed here with 5 couples (6 children). I would recommend the owner invests in more basics for the house e.g., bath towels, dishwasher tablets, etc. to make the stay easier. Otherwise, this place was great for our trip.

6/10 Okay

Location, location, location

3&1/2 stars. Brilliant location, 2 minute walk to the beach. Large modern house with so many bathrooms. Clean, orderly, the manager is very pleasant. We had a large group and it was a perfect fit house, we had a lovely weekend away. The 'small adjacent single rooms' off two bedrooms are actually walk in robes -so be mindful of that. This would be a 5 star house if it had 5 star furnishings/linen. The double bed/sofa upstairs was in poor condition, very uncomfortable for sleeping - I did mention this to the manager and she noted that it would be replaced. I would suggest bringing your own cot for your baby, the cot supplied was very old, it is not a standard size, quite small and the mattress was virtually springs and a bit of fabric covering them.

A spacious, well located house.

The location of the Barefoot Beach house is very good - a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the shops. The house was very clean and spacious, accommodating our party of 13 women. We enjoyed sitting looking at the view from the balcony and having drinks and nibbles in the alfresco area in the evening. The manager met us at the property and was friendly and very helpful, even providing our first evenings meal! Thank you Suguna.. The only small improvement we could suggest is to improve the quality of the linen and make the provision of good quality towels part of the accommodation package.

Perfect getaway

Had a friends wedding in Red Hill, so was great to find a big enough house to fit a group of people mostly traveling from New Zealand. Loads of room and space for everyone to get ready and not be in each others way. Also so close to the beach which was perfect and what a beach it is such clear water and beautiful sand. Easy to deal management through whole process. Thanks for the house and look forward to coming back one day.

Fantastic Experience

We loved our time at the Barefoot Beach House, so close to everything we wanted i.e beach and shopping centre. The place itself provide my extended family with a pleasent experience and we've already spoken about booking another holiday at this place later this year.
