Great Vibe at The Guesthouse

The Guesthouse was bright, spacious and airy. Many different areas to sit, rest and relax and in a great location to walk to everything you need. Kitchen very well equipped and enough seating for a family Easter catch-up. Our dogs loved their stay with a front yard to explore and grassed area to play at the back. Would love to stay again.

Lovely family spot

We had a lovely weekend away. Location was close to everything, walking distance to a playground and the beach, we loved the kids bedroom and they had a ball in their bunks!! Kitchen was well equipped and house was clean and spacious. Thanks for having us!

Australia Day Weekrnd

Our extended family stayed for 3 nights. We had a wonderful time with plenty of room to play and interact. Matty and Christine were wonderful and responsive hosts.

A fabulous beach house

We loved our long weekend at the guesthouse in rye. The owners Matthew and Christina made the process of acess easy and were very helpful. The house is exactly as described- very clean, well equipped and appointed. We were warm and comfy. Great bunk room which was perfect for our 5 kids. A lovely rental.

Best family vacation!

My family and I couldn't have been more pleased with our stay here. Plenty of room and options where to sit. Was nice to open the blinds to huge windows that were actually clean! Plenty of cutlery and dishes to use which is so helpful going away with a big group. Matty was very easy to contact and helpful which makes the experience of sleeping at a strangers house more like comfort of your own home. We parked our car and didnt hop in it again for 5 days ! Walking distance to everything we needed ! Beach, carnival, supermarket, restaurants, chemist! With many years of staying at houses theres always that 1 thing missing and always hard to please everyone, but we all loved our stay here and cannot fault it. We will be back :) thanks guys !!!

Great break

Beautiful property. My girlfriends and I decided a break from our day to day and this was the perfect get away. Enough space for all of us, one used the sunroom to do their zoom workouts while we were away, property has space to pop your car away. Everything is really accessible, it was all that we needed. Thank you to the owners for making us feel really welcome, they were very laid back and that really suited us. We know where we want to come to escape , thank you thank you!

Great Stay

Old worldly charm with updated features

Clean and spacious house with all modern fittings. The house and garden clean and well maintained. Walking distance to beach, pier and shopping strip. Host's were lovely and very accommodating.

Great location

Property was very suitable for our fishing trip away. Great location, just a short walk to Rye pier. Plenty of space and all the amenities required for a great break. Matty called before arrival to give us some tips on the area and was very welcoming. Great to have a yard where we could securely park the boat.

Impeccable location and people

Stayed at this fantastic property for a birthday golf weekend with some family and friends. It was the absolute perfect place to set ourselves, fantastic location, plenty of space, lovely front deck and a great yard. The property has all the amenities you would need for an escape. Matty was a great communicator, made check in and check out a breeze and is and all round lovely bloke. Already discussing our next trip down and this is definitely where we’ll be staying. Thank you again for everything guys!

Fantastic Location

Our family enjoyed our stay in this property, comfortable for us with no frills, and clean. We brought our dog with us and the property had secure fences. There was good heating in each room, which made it comfortable during July. Lots of cutleries and kitchen utensils. The owner, Matty, was really kind to give us a call prior to our stay to run through the place, location and suggestions. It was a really nice touch. Location is fantastic, being 7 minutes walk to the beach and central to the Mornington Peninsula region for our day trips out. I would recommend this place for a family who is looking for a simple and comfortable place.

The Guesthouse Rye: Perfect for a family getaway!!

The Guesthouse Rye, is a charming, quaint beach house, that has all that is required to have a relaxing time with the family. Perfect for our family of 3 generations, 4 grandchildren with heaps of room for everyone. Close to the beach, shops, coffee and far away enough to not be disturbed by the noise and bustle during the tourist season. Good sized bedrooms, kids room with an extra TV and games for the kids to play. All rooms had fans and the air conditioning was great, kept all the house cool, even on days of 41 degrees. The kitchen had all the appliances needed, pantry had all the basics needed and the outside BBQ area was large enough to cater for our party of 6 (plus 2 toddlers). The hosts Matthew and Christina contacted us a couple of days before our stay and were very helpful in providing information about the Guesthouse and also about Rye and its attractions. Totally enjoyed our time there, will book again, longer next time.

Beachside bliss

The property was as described, well laid out and comfortable for a large group. It was very relaxing and close to shops and beaches. Over Christmas it was just the most relaxing peaceful break. The covered patio at the back got the morning sun and was a favourite place for breakfast and sun soaking. It was great to be able to bring my small dog. Would definitely stay again.

Value for money

This house is the perfect house and the perfect location. Not too small and not too big . Easily accommodates a couple of families . Most important of all it's very clean. Plus an abundance of crockery ,dinner ware and utensils. Just everything you could think of with the attention to detail . The Queen beds are very comfortable . Walking distance to the shops and beach what more could you want .

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

A well equipped house big enough to accommodate a group of friends. Everything you could need for a short or long term visit. Close to the beach, cafe's and restaurants.

Great guesthouse!

The Rye Guesthouse is a perfect place for a family getaway. Plenty of room, inside and out, and comfy beds! We were able to take our dog and she had lots of fun too. Close to beach, shops and cafes. Will be going back again

Lovely house, great position.
