Very nice place. I didn't realize the 3rd bedroom was not attached to the house, but it was not a big deal. Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay over a week at BHI. Host was very friendly and helpful with pre trip questions, as well as during the vacation week. Great place for our group of 6, which was my parents, my husband and I then our 4 and 5.5 year old children. The home had lots of board games and books that’s were perfect for a rainy day. Kitchen was well stocked with the necessities.

We loved our stay! The location of this house is ideal for East Beach, just a quick cart ride or easy walk to the beach. The golf carts are great - the 4 seater is the perfect golf cart, and having the 6 seater too is so nice! The house feels quiet and secluded, tucked away in the woods. It is well maintained and you can tell the owners care about the house and their guests. We loved the outdoor shower for easy rinses after being on the beach, and lots of hooks on the screened porch are a wonderful touch for drying things out. Catherine is a very responsive host and was easy to work with. We have stayed in a lot of houses on BHI and this is a new favorite!

My family truly enjoyed staying at this charming Bald Head Island cottage. It’s a short walk to East Beach — our favorite spot — and Catherine was a fantastic communicator throughout our stay. A welcome bag and text were such thoughtful touches as well as her farewell text.We also appreciated that the bikes were in the garage and in great condition, which made exploring the island even more fun. The home has two wonderful porches — we loved eating meals on the front porch and relaxing on the back porch in the evenings.The house was spotless, well‑maintained, and the two golf carts made getting around incredibly easy. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone visiting BHI.

BHI vacation

Our family of 4 loved the week at this Bald Head Island property. Friendly host and easy check-in made us feel welcome. Perfect location in our favorite neighborhood of Surfman’s Walk, as well as functional kitchen, comfortable living room, clean bedrooms/bathrooms, and two golf carts. Hope to stay here again next year!

Convenient and cozy

A quick ride, bike or walk to the best beach on the island. The house was well stocked and worked out perfectly for our family of six.

The cottage was cute and cozy and clean! The setting in the woods was very charming. We had our coffee each morning on the screen porch and were entertained by the squirrels chasing each other around. Location was excellent. Added bonus, the king bed was so comfortable! Host was awesome and very helpful. 100% recommend.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Gaga’s Gift. The home was clean and very well appointed. We had all the amenities needed. The screened porches were perfect for our morning coffee. We loved the proximity to the beach and Shoals Club. Our host was very responsive and friendly. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Wonderful vacation home!

Gaga's Gift was exactly what we needed and as advertised. The house is lovely and comfortable and has the best-equipped and stocked kitchen I've ever had on BHI. The owner was attentive and communicative about everything. We loved our time in her house.

Excellent stay, very comfortable place (beds, couches, hanging couch on the back porch, etc.) with decorations that are on point. Very clean and having a washer/dryer proved very convenient along with a well equipped kitchen. Catherine & Brian were excellent hosts and made everything seamless. We enjoyed the provided bikes and having 2 golf carts was perfect for our family. We have stayed at many different places on BHI and will certainly come back to this place.

So peaceful!

This is the perfect location to get away from the busyness of life! A tranquil space with all the amenities you need for your vacation! Catherine was wonderful; very responsive and accommodating! We will be back!

This property was wonderful for our family getaway. 5 min from East Beach and located in a lovely neighborhood on the island. We enjoyed the gold carts, the bikes, and the comfortable beds. Catherine our host was extremely accommodating and kind and she has extremely quick response times. This was our second time on the island so we understood the ferry/tram schedule but she was so kind to provide any other information as needed. We were pleased with the holiday activities that were offered over the Thanksgiving weekend. We would gladly stay here again! It’s is becoming our “happy place” too!

Great weekend away!

We had a wonderful stay here in early May! The house is in the perfect spot to be close to some great beaches and it is an adorable location that feels like a private oasis. We enjoyed the amenities provided which include bikes and golf karts and communication with the hosts was seamless. They were so kind to offer a late check out on our last day so we could enjoy our time a little longer! We will be coming back!

Great location, Perfect house!

We loved our stay at Gaga's Gift! The space was clean, well-equipped, and located within 3 minutes of the beach. Two golf carts plus plenty of bikes were a perk. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely cottage tucked away in the woods.

This cottage was perfect for us! Cozy and quiet, but near enough to the beaches and club that it didn't feel remote. Everything was as described. I especially loved the daybed swing on the porch!

Everything you need at BHI

Wonderful house at Surfman's Walk. Kitchen is well appointed, living room is very comfortable, and there are beach chairs to take down to East Beach - what else do you need? A great week at BHI.

A true “gift”

An excellent house that has everything you need. The beds are so comfortable...we slept great all week! This was our first trip to Bald Head and the owner was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend this home away from home!
