Easy communication with Hunter Valley Stays team, they were very responsive and helpful. The location was great and plenty of space for a large group.The cleanliness and maintenance of the property needs improvement to provide a more enjoyable stay.

Great weekend

Wonderful place for a family or group trip. Lovely location, kangaroos hopping by and beautiful sunsets over the vineyard. Spacious living space and lots of rooms and beds for groups

Great spot

We had the place for a group of friends away for the weekend and it was perfect. Everything we needed, plenty of communal space but everyone also had their own room, pool was the perfect antidote to a few 35+ degree days

Excellent Visit!!

We came up as a group of 25 adults and had a wonderful time! The house had multiple social areas so we could have several different activities going on at the same time, but was also big enough for us all to eat together. The pool was great too, overall a fantastic stay!

Windsor’s Edge

Golf weekend away

This property is the perfect combination relax and activity. Well maintained tennis court, access to vineyards, golf courses and two immaculately presented houses. Can't thank the team at Hunter Valley Stays enough for making the whole process as easy as possiblr.

Family gathering to celebrate 70th birthday of two senior family members

Great property for a range of age groups! Tennis space a great addition for ball games with outside seating for adult catching up and supervision! Comfortable bedding and well equipped kitchen for entertaining families We were also lucky with the weather !

Family celebration

The properties were great for our large group family milestone birthdays celebration. Plenty of room inside and outside to get together, and well equipped kitchens. Good location not too far from anything the Hunter offers. The houses are about 500-600 meters apart, easy walking distance for most. Highly recommend Amanda’s Restaurant which is between the two houses - excellent food!

Wonderful get-away for large family group

Wonderful get-away for large family group. Before arriving we believed that the two accommodation buildings were close together. Upon arrival, we discovered that this was not the case and were worried, but in the event it did not turn out to be a problem. It might be in the event of bad weather.

Family reunion stay

Was very unhappy with the overall stay as the property was not well maintained or cleaned and there were faults the whole way through. Given the price we paid and the reviews on this site I was expecting a better property.

Weekend stay

We really loved how the accommodation was set up with a table long enough to seat all guests inside and out. Lots of space, with enough plates, cutlery, bedding and towels. It was a shame that the house was very untidy. All of the guests that stayed with me noticed different parts of the house being very dirty (e.g. showers were dusty/dirty, corners of the floor were also very dusty). It seems like after a guest leaves, the tables are wiped and that is all. Other than that, great location and plenty of room for a large group! Thank you! :)

Great location and the houses themselves were a good size for our group, with clean beds and fresh towels provided, beautiful outlook. It was comfortable enough for our stay in terms of space.We appreciated the early check in and late check out and had a great time using the space. Great communication from Hunter Valley Stays through the Stayz app.However, the overall cleanliness could definitely be improved, especially for what you pay. There was quite a bit of dust and cobwebs around, and some maintenance issues like broken cupboard doors, broken or missing lights and damaged fly screens, in both the Residence and Homestead, that detracted from the experience.The biggest downside was the strong septic smell outside. At times it was quite overpowering and made it unpleasant to sit outdoors and be in the pool. While I understand that septic systems can occasionally smell, this setup seemed to direct it close to the house, which wasn’t ideal. The run off needs a subsurface drain field, trench, or soakaway, not a sprinkler on top of the ground.Overall, a convenient spot with decent space, but it would really benefit from better cleaning and some maintenance fixes.

Wheatley booking

Everything was perfect just the bbq was extremely dirty and the book hadn’t been cleaned. Other than that the property managers and booking was great

Family birthday celebration

Our family had a wonderful time at both the Residence and the Homestead despite the poor level of cleaning. The pool was a great hit as was the tennis. We virtually lived outside enjoying the scenery, the children loved the freedom of running with plenty of space and especially loved the seeing some kangaroos. Disappointing was the poor cleaning in both houses, with cobwebs and filth around screen doors and a sticky table.
