My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Riverview Cabin, it was clean, cozy and the view was BEAUTIFUL! Laying in the hot tub staring at the mountain view was majestic to say the least. The only thing that it didn't offer was the waterfront access from the cabin itself, but no need to worry there was still access only a few feet away. The view of the river from the balcony was so tranquil. I would definitely stay here again!

Our host was excellent. Answered all my questions while booking our cabin. The place was very clean. One big room with lots of windows. Bathroom was kinda small. Shower only. No tub. Which wasn’t a problem. Kitchen had everything you need for cooking. Just bring your own seasonings.We were there Monday to Saturday. Only problem was there was only 4 towels and washcloths. For 2 people showering every night, it just wasn’t enough.We really did enjoy our stay. Especially sitting on the deck and just chilling. Didn’t use the hot tub so can’t say anything about that!!

Very cute one room cabin. Although it is listed as ‘Riverview’, there’s too much foliage in the way to see very much of it. Also, the property has pictures of stairs going down to the river and the property by the river should be removed from the advertisement. The stairs going down to the water have been removed. It is not easily accessible without them.

We stayed 4 nights and it was a great stay. The cabin was very private and very comfortable. They had everything we needed and the communication was perfect. The little town of Townsend is definitely lived up to its name for us. "Peaceful side of the Smokies." We will be back. Thank y'all for a great experience.

Great location - super close to the Smokies. We could walk to the IGA, restaurants and coffee. Very clean and a well equipped kitchen. Deck was nice for eating outside. Enjoyed the hot tub every day. Good communication with Bare Tootin’ and the directions they sent were easy to follow with good signage. We’ve stayed in a few different places in Townsend and picked this for the short drive to the park. It’s close to other properties but the trees block the site of everything nearby.

Great stay with beautiful view and sounds

Enjoyed our stay here in this nice cabin that had all we needed and beautiful views, and could hear the river from the deck and short walk down to it. Close to everything in Townsend and the entrance to the Smoky mountains park. Wonderful spot!
