Great Place, love the hot tub

The description correctly captures the quirky retro feel as described in the advertising. The house was spacious and comfortable. It was well fitted out with all equipment and supplies we could need. We especially enjoyed the hot tub out under the stars.

Perfect for my family

Immaculate ‘60s collectors dream-bach. We loved the artwork and the space. The spa is a wonderful bonus to view the stars. We were impressed by how clean it was. The heating was great for mid-June.

Back to The Future

Tranquility Base has everything for a long or short stay at Waikanae Beach. The funky 60s style has been maintained and given a modern kick so that it feels brand new. There are plenty of areas to relax and move about from the sun trap patio with large couches and beanbags, or the warm double-glazed lounge for a surround-sound movie night, as well as the pool and table tennis in the basement. If you don't want to cook, you can head down to the best bakery in Wellington with a 5 minute walk, or a 15minute walk to great pizza for dinner. Thanks for a great stay.
