the villa, outdoor areas invl outdoor kitchen and pool were charming and very nicely designed. A very charming villa. We enjoyed the outdoor dining areas as well as the outdoor kitchen where all meals were prepared. Several cosy areas to sit and relax. The hammocks were nice also. The villa functioned very well for our group of 5 adults. We would be happy to come back another vacation.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this very special villa! The villa is as perfect as the photos show and exactly as described, it has everything you can think of and much more. In a perfect location, slightly outside of the busyness, but close enough to everything to make it easy to get around and explore the South of France. The pool and the outside BBQ area was a particular highlight, but we also enjoyed lazy evenings on the first floor terrace. Thank you so much for making everything so easy, we had a wonderful week!!

Wonderful family holiday

The property is every bit as beautiful as the photos suggest. The garden and pool are idyllic and immaculately maintained. The house itself is delightful; so many personal touches make it a home from home. We had a fantastic time exploring the stunning towns along the coast and inland. We always looked forward to returning to the tranquility of the villa. Blandine was always available if we had any queries whatsoever. All in all, a wonderful family holiday at Stella Maris.

Early summer break

We stayed here in early July 2024. The property exceeded expectations in all respects, it looked good in the photos, but it was even better in real life. It was clean and private, with lots of different areas to hang out in. Just hanging out by the pool was great, but there is also plenty to see and do in the area, and Blandine was particularly helpful with advice, our only regret is some of the trips we made that we didn't get her advice on before (like don't go to Grasse, go to Eze instead). Anyway, even though it was a bit of a long trip for us from New York, it was well worth it, and we would love to come again. Paul & Alex

A magical place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave! Exceeded our expectations and it is difficult for pictures to sum up the beauty of this home, pool and garden. House is full of character, comfort and attention to detail. It was spotlessly clean and the welcome treats much appreciated. We especially loved the top notch outside kitchen and terrace with wonderful views. It was hard to tear ourselves away to do some sight seeing! Best holiday home we have stayed in 😊 Great communication and welcome from Patrick, Narelle, Jo and Blandine. Thank you Blandine for your warm welcome/ introduction to house and being so responsive. 10 days in a magical home

This beautiful revived farmhouse surpassed all of our expectations! We all gasped when we arrived... the decor and surrounding property were pristine, and showcased the love that the owners have for the magical place they call home.The little town of Roquefort-Les-Pins was very quaint; with locals that were more than helpful and very friendly. We used this home as our base to travel to surrounding towns; some of our favourites included Nice, Monaco, St Paul de Vence, Eze, Cannes, and last but not least, the little neighbouring town of Valbonne. A must see! We were all sad to leave, but hope to return one day... Many thanks to the owners and property manager for your attention to detail and for always being available with anything that we needed. Your advice for places to visit and restaurants to eat at were fantastic!

What a wonderful place to stay....

As others have said the photos somehow don't do justice to this beautiful house, not because they're inaccurate but more that they fail to capture the warmth and feeling of it. The garden and pool are just great, so much space and choice of outdoor seating - I'm not sure we managed to try them all! Fabulous views from the terrace by the kitchen, I think I watched the sunrise every morning from the master bedroom! Because the house is also a home it is incredibly well provisioned, furnished and thoughtfully curated. Our 17 year old son is a cyclist and the area is perfect for those who love hills! Our daughter had a great week at the Morataglu tennis academy which is just 15 mins drive away. The coast is only 15-20 mins drive so it's easy to explore the beautiful beaches and towns. It's also well placed to visit the many stunning mountain villages, Biot and Valbonne were our favourites. Our holiday was made even better by Blandine who greeted us on our arrival (despite being so much later than planned), she was so friendly and welcoming and immediately sorted any questions, including finding cycling friends and booking a tennis court. She went above and beyond what is usually expected of a property manager. We'd love to return next year if we can!

Truly Exceptional Home

We’ve had many holidays in great locations with all the necessary boxes ticked by the property we’ve rented but we can still miss the comforts of home and wonder why we’re paying to stay in an inferior bedroom to our own – This was Not the case with this absolutely wonderful home. The taste and décor are exquisite with lovely personal touches throughout. You really get a taste of the places the owners have travelled to and you feel like you're a guest in their home and they've just briefly popped out. It’s generously furnished, from towels to linen through to the kitchen, including a stock of spices – so thoughtful. Photos really can’t do this beautiful home or its location justice, it commands spectacular sunrises, the light is incredible, veranda wonderful and like the whole house, the Venetian and Turkish quarters really have the most incredible attention to detail. The outside kitchen is an additional bonus and again, generously stocked with spices. It doesn’t just stop there though - Jo the manager was such a reassurance, especially when our car broke down. Even if we spoke French it would have been a complete hassle to try to find a garage, so thank you Jo. We can’t recommend it highly enough, we love to visit new places each year but with this utterly unique home we might just make an exception.

The real France

Beautiful and stunning house with the most fantastic original features to keep the French old house. Outdoor kitchen was our place to do ALL meals. Great pool and big house with separate apartment in the basement to a couple. We will recommend the house to all and it´s close to beautiful small country areas and grocery.

Flot bolig med unik indretning

Vi boede i 14 dage i Stella Maris huset. Huset er utroligt smukt og indrettet med spændende detaljer fra Middelshavsregionen. Udendørskøkkenet er super og poolen meget smuk. Beliggenheden er 5 min i bil fra byområde, så man skal absolut have en bil for at komme rundt. Der er mange interessante steder at besøge i alle retninger fra huset.

Amazing place - lovely space for a holiday

We loved our stay in Stella Maris – the house is amazing and a wonderful personal decorated place to spent your holiday. Everything was perfect. The warm welcome and introduction to the house by manager Jo gave us the best start. Lovely to have already cold drinks, bread and fruit as a welcome gift. Every room was special and very nice – lots of towels in every bathroom and by the pool. We enjoyed all the different spaces – the lovely pool, the many terraces, the pool kitchen, the inhouse kitchen with easy access to the best terrace with the amazing view. Lots of space for our family – 2 adults and big “kids” aged 20,19 and 18 – we all loved the pool. But also that we could make easy trips to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Valbonne. We would love to back again.

Words cannot describe effectively how wonderful this home is! The hosts, Narelle and Patrick, greeted us and gave a detailed tour of the property, as well as local recommendations for activities and events. This was a nice touch that made us feel right at home from the start. The outdoor kitchen, terraces, and master bedroom were key highlights for us. The pool and gardens are meticulously maintained. The home is very well furnished and stocked for hosting. We had a total of 5 adults comfortably with space for more. The local town has all the amenities necessary for a stay, although the house is so wonderful you don't want to leave. Can't recommend this home enough!

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad. Het huis is echt zo mooi als op de foto’s… en eigenlijk nog wel mooier. De buitenkeuken is heel compleet en hebben we veel gebruikt. Het huis is voorzien v airco en dat is heel prettig in zomermaanden. Als ik een minpunt moet noemen zijn het de muggen die er zijn.

Just returned from a fantastic couple of weeks. The villa is exactly as described and an oasis of calm with every facility required for a memorable stay. The outside kitchen was a particular favourite and well used during our stay. Communication was superb and Blandine was incredibly helpful and informative. We actually got to meet the charming owners, Patrick and Narelle, before we left which was a lovely touch. We had a car for the duration , visiting the obvious coastal hot spots, but our favourites were the charming local towns of Valbonne and Biot, a short drive away. We actually used Ubers for nights out and they had no problem finding the villa, which was great. For the more adventurous, the 650 bus to Nice - linking with the coastal train line - runs on the main road 5 minutes walk away.

Magnifique villa

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette villa ! Elle est remarquablement bien équipée, avec tout à disposition; cafetière Nespresso, serviettes, papier toilette, produits à moustiques, savons etc etc . La piscine et le jacuzzi, sont également un vrai plus ! Par ailleurs, la villa est très bien située, avec tous les commerces à 5 minutes en voiture. Blandine était là pour nous accueillir et nous aider dans la prise en main de la villa, avec de charmantes attentions à notre disposition ; vin, plateau de fromages, corbeille de fruits, pain etc Ce qui fût très appréciable après un long trajet ! Un sans faute absolu, que nous avons déjà décidé de revenir l’été prochain ! Encore merci pour tout et à l’année prochaine !

Stunning home in great location!

Wow, what a property. Besides its stunning appearance (the photos do NOT do this place justice, and we knew it would be luxurious, but wow - it's jaw-droppingly beautiful!) - there was absolutely EVERYTHING you could possibly need for your stay - we didn't need to buy anything other than food and drink! You'll find dishwasher tablets, toilet roll, tissues, shampoo & conditioner, washing up liquid, BBQ grill cleaner, soap, every utensil you can imagine in the incredible outdoor kitchen (and the multiple other kitchens!), First Aid kit, multiple hairdryers, all the washing liquid/stain removers for clothes you can imagine...these things not only save you a few pennies, buy it just continues the theme that everything had been thought of for the guests. It was spotless throughout and so much thought had clearly gone into renovating and decorating this family home. We will probably come back next year, as we also discovered the gorgeous local village of Valbonne and a fabulous Bistro restaurant on the last night nearby - which we probably would have eaten at every night if we'd found it sooner! Overall one of the best holiday experiences I've had.

Great place to relax

A really positive and relaxing experience, this villa is very well equipped and comfortable. Excellent pool area and the outdoor kitchen makes this property really quite special. We found it hard to drag ourselves away!

Lovely stay

Heerlijk verblijf in een schitterend Provencaals huis

Voor de tweede keer in dit schitterend huis verbleven. Zeer vriendelijk te woord gestaan door zowel eigenaars als gastheer. Het huis heeft alles voor een perfecte vakantie aan de Côte d’Azur. Het is bijzonder charmant en stijlvol ingericht. Wij vonden de uitgebreide buitenkeuken ook een groot pluspunt, evenals het mooie zwembad.

Great Stay at Les Meillans

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It was amazingly well equipped, offering everything we could need for a stress free stay. The house and pool are beautiful and welcoming. We especially loved spending warm afternoons in the pool. Ed was helpful when we needed to contact him.
