Best location for ski in ski out

I have been coming to Shadowbrook for the last 30 years. There is not a better location on the mountain. The condo could be updated, especially the beds, but it is worth it when you ski directly to you back patio.

Federico, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay and are sorry there was some confusion on transportation back to the airport. I personally arranged your transportation, right away when asked, from the airport to the condo on your arrival day. On your departure day, Jordan arranged it for you but then discovered you had organized it yourself so cancelled the ride she had scheduled. Please do email us your schedule in advance of your March arrival so we can schedule both rides to and from the airport in advance of your stay to avoid any confusion on your visit with your family. We are always available for assistance but best serve our guests with some advance planning. Thank you and we look forward to your return visit next month. Kim Allen iTrip Vacations Aspen Snowmass

Great Location, great amenities, dated furniture

We were very happy with our stay at Shadowbrook 402 on Snowmass Mountain. Location unbeatable, in between Snowmass mall and base village under the skittles gondola The staff were very responsive and went out of their way to offer local guidance and support (humidifiers in every room), advice on bus location and taxi value, and knowledge of Aspen mountains. When a few minor things went wrong they came right away (coffee machine replacement, bathroom outlet stopped working).

Shadowbrook 402

Excellent in all most every regard. Location is hard to beat for the ski season. 10 yards to Fanny Hill out the back door. Accommodations are a tad long in the tooth but everything was appropriate and quite comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, silverware, glassware and appliances. Would suggest ensuring there is a full salt shaker in the future. All in all, terrific and the management team was exceptionally solicitous, responsive and timely with contacts throughout the process. Highly recommended!

Beautiful Getaway!

Our Snowmass vacation spot was a beautiful getaway! The condo slept all 6 of us perfectly (king , 2 queens, 2 twins, and a pullout futon were available). We had a problem with one of the mattresses and reached out to the owners who responded promptly. We would recommend a more permanent fix for that mattress, but were grateful for a kind and prompt response. We were able to make most of our meals in the fully equipped kitchen (plus grilled on the back patio)! The pool and hot tubs out the back door were such a bonus! The property itself is perfectly situated on Snowmass mountain and gives easy access to everything in Snowmass and Aspen. We were definitely comfortable at this Shadowbrook condo and hope to get to stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Anne, thank you for writing a fabulous review of your vacation in Snowmass at the Shadowbrook. Regarding the mattress, I apologize that you had to endure that but we have since replaced that mattress, so any future guests will not have that issue. Thank you. With the location of Shadowbrook, you are right in the middle of the action in Snowmass. I love the pool and hot tub there. For transportation, the shuttle bus to Aspen comes by every 30 minutes at the end of the driveway, so that is easy too. I am glad you enjoyed it. Bryan iTrip Aspen/Snowmass

Paying for location

This is a true ski in/ski out property and that’s what you’re paying for with this condo. The condo is shabby, dated, dingy and not as clean as it should be. And if you run out of toilet paper, you’re on your own. No additional toilet paper provided. Whoever heard of a vacation rental property NOT providing toilet paper. My party was very disappointed with this unit. I could have rented a similar sized unit with ski in/ski out access that was newly remodeled at Woodrun Place. I’ll not make the mistake of renting this unit again.

Lorie, it is unfortunate you and your group were not happy with your choice in vacation rental. The pictures and 3D tour are an exact representation of this condo. Each unit is individually decorated and updated differently and the photos do show the exact decor in this unit. We have a superb housekeeping and inspection team and they are often praised in many reviews. We stock each condo with 3 rolls of toilet paper in every bathroom prior to each guests arrival along with numerous other items in the kitchen and baths. We also share with our guests that we stock these items and should you need more during your stay they are available at the grocery store. It appears you expected different than what we shared in the photos and guest information prior to your stay. Hopefully you can find what you are looking for when you return and use a different company.

Sheer Bliss

Our stay at Shadowbrook 402 was pure bliss. Three days of sunshine followed up with three days of fluffy powder…and great accommodations. We had four adults and three children, and all were accommodated comfortably. Three bathrooms helped, as did he generous-sized great room. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils and pans.. Ski in-ski out was super-convenient as was the swimming pool and hot tub. The only minor complaint was that a couple beds squeaked. All in all, a fantastic place to stay!

Terrific stay

Stayed 9 nights and found the location, amenities, cleanliness all excellent especially while following precautions during Covid....able to easily order out, walk up or down hill to pick up breakfast and dinner...avoiding eating in crowds. The location on the slopes is an easy ski in ski out....took many of our ski breaks in the condo. And, the iTrip personnel are very attentive to our needs and pleasant to deal with. Will plan to return to the same unit again.
