This quiet country cabin in Nye was the perfect place for our family to stay while celebrating our son’s wedding. The cabin was spacious, comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone to gather without feeling crowded. The location was probably our favorite part—peaceful, private, and right on the river, with beautiful views and the sounds of the water just outside. It felt tucked away from everything while still being a wonderful home base for our wedding weekend. Such a relaxing and memorable place to spend time together as a family.

We loved the River Island house! It was so relaxing to sit outside and listen to the river or sit on the porch with a cup of coffee in the morning. The perfect place to unplug and hike. We also enjoyed meeting Ken and his dog Bella. We enjoyed catching up with him and learning about the area. We will for sure be back!

The house is unbelievable. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Completely private on the shores of the Stillwater River. Terrific property!!

Amazing getaway for groups

The Island getaway is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. If you like the outdoors, this is a great place for you to stay. We enjoyed relaxing on the top deck and listening to the creek.

family vacation

We had a wonderful time traveling around the area. The cabin was fantastic in all ways. We sat around the fire with the back door open so we could hear the river. It was Heaven!!

Little Piece of Paradise

Had the best time in this beautiful home! Mr Evans even came over to help me get the fireplace in my bedroom going! Definitely would love to stay here again when we come back.

Peaceful and secluded

My wife and I loved staying in this charming home. It was clean and the kitchen was well-supplied. The hot tub on the deck, which is creek-side, was awesome. The area is beautiful and there’s are plenty of great hikes and scenic drives. We can’t wait to go back.

Wonderful Seclusion

The location is great, right on the river with no one around. Rooms are large and the house has a great kitchen. You will enjoy some time away and the ability to be completely secluded.

Magical Place!

This is the perfect place to spend a peaceful time surrounded by nature. The river right out the back was just beautiful. The trees all around were stunning. The cabin itself was very clean, well maintained, well stocked, comfortable, and homey. We especially loved the outside porch spaces. What a wonderful place all around!

If you are looking to spend time with nature in a tranquil, beautiful cabin - look no further! This is a gorgeous place set on a river island! Our family went for a fishing trip and came home with some amazing memories and great conversations had on the swing by the river! We had a great stay!!
