Captain Gosnold Village offers classic Cape Cod cottages situated on four acres of beautifully landscaped and secluded grounds. Large trees, Cape rose bushes and flowering plants grace the grounds. Captain Gosnold Village is the perfect destination for vacations, family reunions, and wedding parties. We are family-oriented and do our best to meet the needs of the youngest to the oldest. We offer the relaxation and informality of "Old Cape Cod" to twenty-first century guests.

Stay at a charming 1-Bedroom cottage in a beautiful setting within walking distance to Cape Cod's warm sandy beaches and Main Street Hyannis. Captain Gosnold Village is ideally located within a quarter mile from Keyes Memorial Beach and less than a mile from Veterans Park Beach and Kalmus Beach. The property is nestled in a quiet residential area between picturesque Hyannis Port and the vibrant atmosphere of Hyannis Harbor with its island ferries, sightseeing and fishing charters.

Our home-away-from-home accommodations include this charming one bedroom cottage, a private deck with outdoor furniture and a gas grill. The cottage is comfortably furnished, features a fully equipped kitchen and in-unit washer and dryer. This cottage has a queen bed in the bedroom. The kitchen is nicely appointed with stainless steel appliances including a gas range and dishwasher. This cottage is non-smoking and does not allow pets. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and a child. The cottage as Air Conditioning in the living room and bedroom.

Our unique location in a quiet residential Hyannis neighborhood gives our guests a number of distinct advantages. Main Street is only a mile away, with its wide selection of shopping, restaurants, cafes, and nightlife.

The pool is closed for the rest of the season.

Exceptional location-5 minute walk to Keyes/Sea St Beach. 3 minute drive to Main Street. Lovely area to take walks or run/bike. About a mile from other popular beaches like Kalmus. Clean, quiet pool area with friendly lifeguard. Clean, quiet unit. A/C was lovely. Felt very relaxing. Great communication from host. Would rent again. Bed on the softer side.

Short walk to multiple beaches

The cottage was very clean and in a quiet area. Besides having a short walk to multiple beaches, it was also a short walk to Main Street and to the ferries. We really enjoyed our stay.

Anniversary trip

We stayed here for our 15th wedding anniversary and it was perfect! The place was clean and the community was quiet. The walk to the beach was nice and the town had a lot of shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Location

Location was minutes from the ferry, restaurants and shopping. The house was very clean. We would stay there again!

Clean and quaint

It was very clean and just the right size for us. We loved the location. The neighborhood was quiet. Also we were able to walk restaurants, beaches and shopping between 15-20 minutes.

I had a wonderful time during my stay! The apartment was beautiful and full equipped. The beach was down the road and parking was very easy. Communication was great, I’d highly recommend staying here!

Extended Weekend

Great location! A cozy beach cottage that is perfect for a private getaway. Close enough to beaches, town, ferry and food that all you need are bikes to get around. Property was unpretentious, but maintained the dignity of a Cape experience. The amenities available were perfect and management immediately addressed minor adjustments that were necessary. Overall wonderful experience and will definitely go back!

Terrible Property Condition

My experience was overall terrible due to terrible property condition. Please review all my communication messages history to VRBO for the details. I will never use or stay at a VRBO property again and have referred this to my attorney to determine my legal recourse.

Quiet, Convenient Quintessential Cape Cod

I gave the property 4 stars because it lacked a few typical items that one should expect for the price paid - Although not having them didn't ruin my trip - just annoyed me every time I reached for them ;-o) I've stayed in less expensive vrbos that were better equipped. Example 1 dish towel, 1 wine glass, a teeny tiny sponge. I think cardboard would have cut better than the knives on hand....no welcome book on how to use anything - particularly the TV and the one in the bedroom was different than the living room, the property was overgrown (had to fight back vines and bushes to get in) and the decks could really use a good power wash. But location, water pressure, bed comfort, quiet and quaint village were perfect.

We also had our handyman trim the bush at the entrance. Guest satisfaction is important to us. So we are working to ensure all of your comments are addressed.

Nice location-young people can walk to town. Seniors will need to drive. Condo shows some age in places, but overall it is a nice place with ability to sit outside and enjoy the patio.

Great location, easy check in

Had a great time! The cozy condo was a 4 minute bike ride to 3 lovely beaches. Rode my bike to the Nantucket ferry, didn’t need to pay for parking. 15 minute car ride to Whale watch and kayaking tour on the bay side in Sandwich and Barnstable harbor. Cottage was east to keep clean. Enjoyed the deck. Few repairs needed but nothing serious and the shower is so nice!! Checking in and out was so easy! Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful our weekend was. The whole process from booking to check in and check out was as seamless as anything I could explain. When we arrived and walked in our Cottage, we were taken aback! It met every expectation and more! Everything was clean and neat. The village was very quiet and well maintained. All in all, we could not have been any happier! We are two professionals and work long hrs. This was a much needed break and to say the least we couldn’t have chosen a better place to spend some much needed down time. We definitely will be staying here again. However, it will probably be for a longer stay next time. Thank you so much!! Jesse

Perfect for a long weekend

This rental was perfect for a long weekend and close to everything. We enjoyed having a few of beaches to choose from and then being to able walk there. We went to Main Street a few times for shopping and food. Loved the interior decor. Super functional and stocked with everything we needed. We will consider staying there again.
