Beautiful location and the cabin was super clean and nice decor. The view alone is worth the stay. We enjoyed the beach looking for unusual rocks and sea glass. It was a great escape from the world!

A beautiful location and cabin! Communication was excellent, answers to our questions usually within minutes. We had a great stay in this very quiet and peaceful little corner of the world! The sunrises are spectacular!Our dog enjoyed her first ever beach walks and dog friendly cabin too!!!A real 10/10

Beautiful location! We felt instantly comfortable at the house. Loved the fire pit outside and the chairs down by the water (perfect for morning coffee). Love the set up, makes enjoying the outside really easy. Beautiful views and sunrises. Our pup also had a great time. They all a lot of amenities in the bathroom and tons of kitchen items with the draws labeled with whats in them. Can't wait to go back next year!

It was with heavy heart that we packed up for our journey home. This was our first time staying in Mainely Cabin but our third time enjoying the hospitality of Damon and Jamie ( the other two times were in The Lighthouse). To me, this is Shanghai-La; a place where I find heaven and rejuvenation. The mornings and afternoons walking on the beach finding sea glass and rocks with personality (my treasures) and the sun’s warmth recharging my body. Enjoying the morning sunrises on the deck watching the birds (Eagles included) and evenings watching seals in the bay while sitting by the fire bring tranquility to my soul! I am already counting down the days until August 2027.

The Mainely cabin was the perfect place to enjoy down east Maine. We spent a week exploring the area- Campobello Island, Cobscook trails, St Andrew by the Sea, NB, Quoddy Light and of course the main drag in sleepy Lubec. Magical. Views everywhere you turn including from the deck of the cabin. The house was super clean, well stocked with all kitchen gadgets, washer/dryer etc. Even a fire pit which we used one night! The hosts are quick to communicate and most importantly we got to travel with our Bernese Mountain dog who loved roaming the private beach off leash in front of the cabin. If you’re looking for a true get away, Mainely Cabin fits the bill!

We loved this cabin! The view, the deck, the firepit, the wall to wall knotty pine, it’s exactly what a Maine cabin should be. We dined once at Cohill’s in town, other than that we were happy to eat in and enjoy the house. Absolutely recommend

The house was a beautiful rustic, log cabin perfect for a couple alone or with children. We brought our two Bernese mountain dogs. The cabin was very dog friendly and we appreciated that. It was also really well appointed they had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.

Quite possibly, THE BEST

Gorgeous location, beautiful views, nice and cozy inside qith plenty of open space as well. Kayaking location is near perfect as well with scenic spots.

Lovely get away

We had a great time at the cabin. The view was beautiful and the cabin was well appointed. Highly recommend for those who enjoy soaking up the scenery.

Amazing views and the best hosts

The Mainely Cabin is a wonderful, peaceful place to spend some time in Lubec. The hosts and property manager are some of the nicest hosts, actually nicest people, you could ever hope to meet. The views and access to Cobscook Bay are priceless We will definitely return at our next opportunity!

Relaxing Getaway

Wonderful, relaxing week! Enjoyed sunrises, seals, eagles and walks on the beach. Owners are very welcoming and responsive. Cabin is comfortable, clean and well supplied. Thank you for a great stay!

Peace and Quiet

Beautiful setting and view, short drive to Lubec which has a few restaurants. Best if you're wanting to get away and sit with nature. Amazing ocean breezes through the cabin.

Beautiful home and view

I loved staying here. The house has lots of charm and a terrific view. We went to Lubec to hike and relax. If you are looking for a vacation to get away from your fast paced, busy routine, this is a great option. And the coastal views in the Lubec area cannot be beaten.

Wonderful cabin with an amazing view

We had an amazingly peaceful time at the cabin. The sunrise over the water was beautiful and you can't get enough of the starry sky at night. We walked the rocky beach with our dog who also had a wonderful time. Such a relaxing place to just sit and take in the beauty and wildlife. We'll definitely be back!

Peaceful great views

Cabin was excellent. If you want to be away from it all, this is a great place to relax. Had to change reservations details last minute due to a hurricane and host was excellent to work with us. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay again. Recommend A+

The Mainely Cabin

We love staying at the cabin. The owners are very friendly and quick to respond. The cabin itself is so cozy and welcoming. We love that we are able to take our two dogs as well. It’s a great place to detach from the stresses of everyday life and enjoy peace and nature.

Another outstanding visit

Same spectacular vacation as we had here last year (see 9/8/2023 review). Our only disappointment was someone else beat us to booking the same time for next year. The serenity, comfort, views, and overall experience are perfect.

Our Favorite destination

This was our third time in the Mainley Cabin. We fly all the way from California just for this perfection. Nothing beats this location. It’s so quiet and peaceful yet with all modern conveniences. Thanks to owners Damon and Jamie for always being so kind and working with us. And Carla! Always available and flexible. Can’t wait to come back.
