Amazing location

Lomani is perfect for a secluded get away for couples. Everything you need in this rustic cottage, pool, fans, comfy bed and furniture, fully equipped kitchen and bang in the middle of the coastal road so you can head in either direction for small towns and restaurants etc - idyllic!

beautiful view and pool

We greatly enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful location. We enjoyed eat at resort closest to the little house. The house is in need of some repairs but is functionable. Kelera and Knox are great!

Idyllic location on a hill overlooking the ocean with a gorgeous property and bungalow. Knox and Kelera treat their guests like family and are incredibly gracious. They made a lovo dinner for us which was delicious and Knox drove us to all of our day trip destinations filling the driving time with interesting observations about the island and history. One of the nicest vacation stays I have ever experienced.

First trip to Fiji

Although the place may not be opulent, it’s clean convenient and perfectly livable. The bed was great Knox and Kalera are gold. If you want a real experience of feature island life, you just couldn’t do better. We look forward to coming back someday.

Very private property with amazing views of the water. Staff was extremely attentive and couldn't make us feel more welcome. Infinity pool was divine! The grounds were meticulously maintained and spectacular. They provided transportation to wherever we wanted to go for an extra fee, but that was so helpful! Can't say enough about that Fiji hospitality...so impressive! Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Taveuni & Lomani is amazing 🥰

Bula, Planned a surprise 10 year anniversary trip for the wife to Taveuni and choose Lomani as our place to stay. Knox & Kelera are awesome hosts and were so hopeful for our stay, drove us around and organised everything for us. Saskia was awesome to communicate with upon booking and organising every thing before we arrived. Vanaka & Sota tale 🥰

Excellent

Great location and house to stay at Fiji’s garden island. Knox and Kelera are great, which both made our stay even better. Host communication is quick and great. Only complaints are didn’t see the two seater swing as shown in the listing, was hard to sleep since house gets hot (portable A/C unit in bedroom at night would’ve been great), and in the distance was a camera set up. Not sure if it was the properties camera or the nearby resorts but seeing this made it feel we had less privacy. Would love to come back and stay again.

Bula Bonnie and Simon, I hope you have both settled well back into post Honeymoon life. Congratulations and well done to you both again!! We also very much appreciate the positive feedback, particularly about Kelera and Knox. We are very lucky to have them as our staff. We also greatly appreciate the areas for improvement that you have highlighted. Unfortunately the love swing had to be taken down to be replaced as being wood and outdoors with the Taveuni weather, we find we have to re-build this every few years. At the moment we are still waiting on the pine to be sent from New Zealand. It is unfortunate that the timing meant we did not have this for you both on your honeymoon. Your feedback on the AC is welcomed. This is something that has only become possible in the last year since Taveuni first got reticulated power. Solar is problematic powering AC but now with mains power we can do this. This is something we will look to implement whether a portable unit or a wall mounted unit. With regards to the security camera sign at our front gate, we installed that to deter unauthorised people. I have let Kelera know for future guests to explain this as we do not want you to worry. Please let me know should you be interested in visiting Lomani again. As a repeat customer and valuing the time you took to provide your feedback, we would be happy to offer you a couple of free nights should you choose to stay with us for a week or more. Privacy in Paradise

Beautiful place to stay! We appreciated the privacy very much. It was calm and peaceful which is what we were looking forward. It was further from most restaurants which was difficult. Nakia Resort, which is just a short walk up the hill, was our go to place for their restaurant but it unfortunately closed for two weeks during our stay. Loved the food and staff there though! We went diving at the dive shop down the hill which I highly recommend! The cost of taxi with Knox was unfortunately very pricy so we did have to be mindful with this. Overall, it was a good first experience in Tave Uni!

Unique and wonderful experience!

Our stay was everything we could have imagined and more! Lomani is perfect for those looking for a more inclusive and immersive experience over a typical resort. The property is very private and very quiet, allowing for a deeply relaxing visit. Saskia and the property managers, Knox and Kelera, were so attentive and genuinely wonderful that it really took our overall experience to the next level. Massages, kayaking, hiking, and harvesting fruits and herbs on the property! With some help from Knox and Kelera, we had the best fishing experience too! Seeing the dolphins race the boat and our special local fishing captain giving us fantastic pointers to ensure our success at reef fishing. We had many dinners from our own fresh catch! This really is a magical place because of both property and staff. I feel that it will be tough to find anything else quite like it. We sincerely thank Knox, Kelera, and Saskia for sharing it with us. Until next time!!

We expected to enjoy Taveuni and our stay at Lomani but had no idea how unforgettable an experience it would be. Located on top of a hilltop overlooking the ocean and surrounded by beautiful grounds filled will fruit trees, Lomani is an absolutely stunning and serene place to stay while visiting the "garden island" of Fiji. Leading up to and throughout our stay, Saskia was in touch to ensure that everything ran smoothly and with lots of helpful suggestions around activities that would allow us to make the most of our visit. Knox welcomed us at Matei airport upon our arrival and he and Kelera were amazing hosts who played a huge part in making our Lomani/Taveuni experience so special. Visting for only two nights, we spent one day doing the Lavena Coastal Walk and visiting the beautiful waterfalls of Bouma National Heritage Park. We spent the rest of our time relaxing in the infinity pool, enjoying the beautiful views from the porch hammocks, and enjoying amazing food at nearby restaurants ( an amazing floating breakfast from Kelera!). We are very fortunate to have visited many places around the world, but can confidently say that in only a short time Lomani became far and away our favorite. Our only regret is that we didn't stay for longer and we can't wait for our next visit.

Beautiful Island Seclusion

The property was as described, a perfect space for 2 people to visit a quieter part of Fiji. It is secluded and feels nicely removed from the rest of the world. The diligence and care of the property managers Kelera and Knox meant that our location was never a barrier to accessing the rest of the island or making sure we were able to get groceries etc. Highly recommend this property for a couple.
