We had to ask for toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, remotes were all dead, balcony had molding food, dishes were dirty and our towels were damp. The condo itself is dirty, has a mildew smell, and hasn't been cleaned thoroughly in some time. The floors are sticky with salt and grim. We submitted pictures to VRBO of the master bathroom, ceiling fans, kitchen cabinets, floors, closets, dark brown curly hair everywhere. We contacted the local host, who knew we were out of basic necessities, and he brought them over. Contacted the host through VRBO, evolve, and sent over pictures of the condo, only to be told they are sorry we didn't get what we felt like we paid for. Property itself is beautiful, just find a better host at this property than evolve. You are in a small building with friendly people, steps from the beach. My family stayed in the building, we had 4 condos rented, and the other 3 were much better maintained and better kept. You can tell the difference in the smell and the feel of the floors how much better the other condos are cared for. I asked that the homeowner be aware of how this is being managed and it's being forwarded according to evolve, hoping they see this review and inspect this themselves. We wpuld rent again here, just not this unit with these managers.

From the Owner: "We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful beachfront location and welcoming building community, and we were happy to accommodate your early check-in. As is standard for vacation rentals, we provide a starter supply of paper essentials, and our local contact delivered additional items as a courtesy. While daily hotel-style housekeeping is not provided, an in-unit washer and dryer are available. We take cleanliness seriously. The final cleaning walk-through prior to arrival found no hair issues, and these concerns were raised only after the guests had been in residence for four days. Following checkout, our team confirmed the dishwasher and faucet are fully operational; the faucet shows only minor surface wear common in coastal settings. Locked owner spaces, including private mail and packages, are strictly off-limits, and accessing them violates our house rules. While this guest is no longer welcome back, we will continue reviewing our procedures to support excellent future stays."

We shared this feedback with the homeowner and wanted to share the following: - When concerns were raised, the guest was offered a full refund and assistance relocating to another property, but they chose to remain. - Wristbands were available, and additional ones were offered promptly through the guest concierge. - The furniture is professionally cleaned, and the listing photos accurately reflect the unit. - Past guest reviews consistently highlight positive experiences that reflect the home as described. We remain committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and well-represented property for future guests."

Great location and quiet area. The beach was not overcrowded. The condo was perfect for our group. The point of contact for the condo was very nice and helpful.

Great location, Building staff friendly, Needs new mattresses.

I've stayed at this complex before and it is a nice location close to restaurants and other activities. Cons are that the mattresses (couch, bunks and master) all need updating. The top bunk felt a bit wobbly. The couch bed had not been changed prior to our arrival and there was a stain and garbage in the bed. Also the cookware left a bit to be desired. As said in the listing there is no wifi, which was ok for us, but I do find it odd that it didn't have it. Pros are the bathrooms are updated, there are plenty of chairs, umbrellas and other beach things to use and the condo was well air conditioned and quiet.

PCB trip

Although the complex is older, this condo has recently been updated. The kitchen and both baths were in excellent condition. The unit was very clean and tastefully decorated. The HVAC did not work one day, it was repaired promptly the next day. The television did not work and was also repaired promptly.
