Great location, very peaceful. Sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. We stayed there for 20 nights; it was just what we needed. (In between moving) Would recommend!

The host was wonderful. It was for my son's wedding so he worked hard to get us in early to get ready. The place was great. We all enjoyed our stay. Their dog was able to stay during the ceremony and get picked up for photos which was so nice.

Newburyport Dune Cottage

Awesome place-Awesome Host - really cool beach area feels small town - really nice big expansive beach. Downtown Newburyport a few miles away also great. Overall AAA+++

Quick Beach Escape

The location was great, pet friendly, comfortable beds and furniture. Well equipped kitchen, nice beach bar restaurant 5 minute walk and 10 minute walk to the beach. Very safe area, the surf at the beach is a little tough for small children but with close supervision we all had a great time

Great stay

The place was very accommodating ,Host was quick to respond, and the unit was clean and comfortable .😊 Could use some wash cloths and hand towels for bathroom. 😊

Winter getaway

My fiance and I stayed at the house for a long weekend. It is a great location and nice place to stay. The rooms are spacious and set up nicely. The full shower is very nice. We walked to the beach from the house every day. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

It was just as described. Clean and neat. Nice location on Plum Island. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. Easy check-in.

Absolutely Beautiful!

This home was exactly as described. Good location with many activities to do and see on the island. Wonderful place! Ask the locals about the island! They were all so helpful and nice! I would recommend this home and hope to come back again someday to see more of Massachusetts!

Family Getaway

Had a wonderful long weekend getaway at Mike’s property with my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. The house was extremely clean and perfect for our needs. Check in and out was simple. Mike was extremely responsive throughout the whole process and a pleasure to rent from. We will certainly be back.

If you love your cat this is the place

My wife and I had never vacationed with our cat. It was great. The cat enjoyed it. We enjoyed having the cat. Thanks Mike. The place is cozy, clean, and accessible. We only live up the road in the next town. We stayed here while work was being done at our home. This place is making us reconsider why we go great distances for vacation. Plum Island is a great refuge (in more ways than one). Next vacation may be closer to home. Thanks for everything.

Plum island

This was our first time staying in plum island. Loved plum island and nearby Newberryport. Multiple day trips shopping and nearby golf courses. The rental is a short walk to the sunset club. No car needed to access this busy hangout for a drink/ watch the sunset. The house could use a restock of hand towels and kitchen towels( only 1 each provided) and a refresh of shower liner and I’m sure an update to the bathroom is on the owners list to match the rest of the unit updates. Maybe an outdoor shower? There were 4 adults in our party, no children. You may want to be cautious of children/ grandchildren staying here because of on going renovations and location.

Hi William, So happy you enjoyed your time in Plum Island and all that it has to offer! And thanks so much for the feedback. As a host, it is important that we receive both positive feedback and areas we can improve on. The shower liner has been replaced today and additional kitchen towels have been ordered. We already have our bathroom renovations scheduled to be completed Dec 2021 for our 2022 summer season :). I did want to note that we pride ourselves in being a family friendly rental. Guests this summer have commented on how much they love the private backyard for their kids and being just a short 5 minute walk to the beach. The newly built Sunset Club restaurant being right down the street has also been a great addition for our families to enjoy! Thanks again and hope to have you back for our new improvements being done this off-season.

Perfect birdwatching getaway

Our stay was seamless. We visited Plum Island for a long weekend birdwatching excursion. This was the perfect spot. We travelled with our cat for the first time, and considering how cats can be, he warmed up to the space right away. Michael sent all the information we needed for our stay, prior to our arrival. Easy in, easy out. The couch is soo comfortable in the living room! Kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and gadgets one would need to prepare meals easily. The bed was comfortable and it was easy to control the temperature of the unit. It was quiet and although there were other homes nearby, it still felt private due to the dunes in the back yard ( also not peak season ). The brilliant colors of the sunrise and sunsets were visible from inside the house and just a few steps out the front door were unobstructed views of the sunset. Bonus for those inflicted with celiac disease, the restaurant 400 feet away had gluten free buns and a kick ass burger. Everything we needed was in this space and we didn’t need to contact Michael for anything while we’re there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This cozy house by the ocean was spotless! Beautiful location, where you can watch the sunset from the living room. Two porches and Adirondack chairs in the sand. Perfect to kick back and relax. I hate cold weather, but would love to come back and sit by the fireplace. My son loved the speaker system in the bathroom!

Christmas on Plum Island

Fabulous two-day getaway

My two girlfriends and I spent a lovely mid-week stay in this three bedroom home. There’s plenty to do in the area from shopping, sightseeing to restaurants. You could choose to stay in and enjoy a Bonfire or just relax on the porch watching the moon rise from the deck while BBQ’ing. Awesome Plum Island retreat!

Secluded with great outdoor space

Cozy 3 bedroom, upper unit, with lots of open, usable outdoor space outside. We didn't feel at all boxed in by other houses (which one can feel on Plum Island). Very responsive owner, who provided excellent info about what to expect. It is not upscale (as photos can suggest), but clean and adequately supplied. We came off-season. Be aware that restaurants have very limited hours and possibly provisions. I'm not sure how one accesses the main beach if one wanted to swim, but I am sure there is access. (This is some ways to the beach.) We found a great walk along beach via Parker Refuge, exit 6.

Great long weekend

Clean, neat, well cared for. This property was the perfect spot for my family to stay for a family wedding weekend. And the beautiful beach doesn't hurt either.
