Amazing Lake Trip

We had the best family getaway here at this property on Lake Chatuge! The place was everything by we needed and right on the lake. :) We loved it and will definately be back!!!

Wish we could've stayed a month! This adorable townhouse is all about the beautiful lake and mountain views. It's quiet, well-stocked, and conveniently located to everything, but you won't want to leave the house. My best advice: Bring a good book and your most comfortable pjs, order DoorDash or Uber Eats or just grill steaks on the grill by the lake, and relax. I know we sure did!

When we checked in there was a tremendous amount of spiders and spider webs on the upstairs and downstairs balconies - we couldn’t enjoy the outside until we cleaned it ourselves. We also had to knock down hornets nests and walk through dead ants. The amount of bugs found in this home was alarming- multiple centipedes (1000 leggers) and of course spiders and someRoaches . I understand we are in the mountains but I haven’t had that inside a home in my life. The beds are firm if that’s not what you’re used to—it’s an adjustment. We had water come in the home during a heavy rain- front basement bedroom. We were asked to run and empty a dehumidifier during the rest of our stay. The water came in again after a short storm and this is when we saw black mold and rotted wood inside the closet. Bottom level toilet was broken- they sent someone out to repair in a day- but only did a temporary fix- it continued to run but not as much for a couple days then broke completely the last 4 days of the trip. The toilet was running every 10 seconds all day and night.

We do have monthly pest control, with a visit just about 10 days before your stay, but we know mountain living can still bring unwelcome visitors and we're sorry that affected your stay. When the downspout drain ruptured during heavy rain, our repair team was out within 24 hours to fix the problem. The downstairs area, including the trim, was fully remodeled in April with no evidence of mold or rot found upon inspection after your stay. . We also sent a repairman out the same day the toilet issue was reported. We appreciate you letting us know how things held up over the course of your stay, and we're using that insight to keep a closer eye on ongoing maintenance going forward.

Lakefront Townhouse

Lake and Mountain View’s were just beautiful. Great porches and dock! The townhouse has everything you need, but is a little run down. Bathroom tub and shower area is really pitiful. Water also does not stay warm past five mins when showering.

Location and view with lake access was a plus

The condo did not accommodate 6 as advertised. The pull out sofa springs were broken and not attached and missing making it impossible to sleep on as a bed. We had to drive to the next county to purchase an inflatable mattress.

The property was not easy for 2 old people. There were stairs every where. Going to our bedrooms and going into the house. If we had only known we would not have stayed there. The place next door to us had a deck with a flat Walkway. Oh well. We would have been happier. The house itself was very nice though.

Anniversary getaway

We enjoyed our stay. We were able to oversee the lake and go fishing. There were some concerns of the balcony areas top and bottom were full of spider webs and needs to be sprayed and cleaned. Also after being in the cabin observed food (French fries) under living room couch and areas need dusting. Also, I think management needs to check behind the employees hired to clean their cabins, as there were no kitchen cloths to was dishes with and dish detergent and dishwasher soap was low and laundry soap was low as well.Otherwise, the stay was great and will be staying again in the future as long as the mention concerns are addressed.

Just being honest

Should really rethink property management ...horrible smell, mattresses hard as rocks, spider webs in living room, downstairs toilet handle extremely hard to push... but views are great. I've been using vrbo for 6 years never gave a bad review hopefully these issues will be resolved. CJ

Mattress taste is subjective, and we have never received any complaints about this in the past. However, we apologize that you were not completely comfortable and that these specific mattresses did not suit your personal preference. While these mattresses may not be a perfect fit for every preference, however, they are one of the most approved in the market -Lastly, we're sorry to hear about your experience with the cobwebs. Our professional cleaner specifically scans each room for cobwebs after every guest's stay, but occasionally, depending on the time of year and being so close to the water the cobwebs can reappear if there are 1 or more days between guest stays Thank you for your feedback. We have had such positive reviews in the past, and we work very hard to ensure all guests arrive at a 5-star experience at our vacation rental. Pros and CONS

Our rating Over all is a 3. ill explain.. pro's: it was a great family weekend, the lake views were beautiful, we enjoyed fishing, kayaking , grilling out. it was quiet, relaxing & exactly what we needed! However, CONS :It was DRASTICALLY smaller than expected and very dusty! Mattresses are hard as bricks, bed frame too big for mattress size & broken in one room caused bruised shins and cussing when the piece fell & cracked my toe twice! It has a nice but VERY COLD jack and jill bathroom downstairs & the upstairs Plumbing is horribly loud

Quick golf and relaxation visit

Condo is in a great location, very convenient to grocery store and centralized to the three golf courses that I chose to play. It was disappointing that each condo only has one parking space, but luckily there was overflow area open. Downstairs bathroom needs to be remodeled or, the tub needs to be cleaned and/or re-caulked. A lot of mildew/mold. Shower drain did not work properly or fast enough, but if you turn the shower off it drains immediately. Most VRBO‘s I’ve stayed in and have had some sort of soap or shampoo available, there was nothing to use for anyone to shower. Disappointing. I read in the listing that there was a gas grill, but I never saw one. The views and location are amazing. Unfortunately, there was a power outage at 8:45 am before checkout so we were unable to run the dishwasher or adjust the thermostat.
