The house is in a great location. However, the furniture is extremely uncomfortable and dirty. The house has a hard time regulating being cool. It’s either too cold or it’s too hot upstairs. The master bedroom had a pill on the floor whenever we came in. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher that were not washed previous to us being there

Loved the location

We were in close proximity to a quiet beach! The waves were pretty nonexistent so it felt more like lake living but still fun!

Great beach house

Great house with an easy walk to a quiet beach. Nice pool and outdoor space for relaxing. Good coffee and pizza in walking distance. Would definitely rent again.

Good location with amenities

Short walk to beach and not too far from shopping and stores. Only complaint would be to have blinds on the glass front door and glass door to deck for privacy.

Beautiful beach house

The house was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We traveled from Colorado, and our only recommendation would be to have more supplies such as beach chairs and shade covers for people who have to fly in and can’t drive and bring these items. We purchased them while we were there and left them for the next guests to use.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. I appreciate your suggestions about providing more supplies for guests who travel by air. This is valuable feedback that will help us improve the experience for future visitors. TVR does not provide beach gear, but we do provide a list of local shops that will sell/rent those items in our Guest Portal. But I do want to point out that your consideration in leaving the beach chairs and shade covers for others is also greatly appreciated. We strive to make our guests' stays as comfortable as possible, and your input helps us achieve that goal. I'm glad you enjoyed your time in the house and hope you'll visit us again.

Great Location

The house was beautiful and the location was perfect! We enjoyed being able to walk to the shore - and to Tybean coffee shop. The screened porch was our favorite place for meals. :) The pool was a great place to relax. This was our family’s annual beach trip - thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

Family Vacation

This was our family’s second time staying in this beautiful home. We love the location - short distance from the ocean and all the Tybee fun shops, and an easy walk to the river beach and the coffee shop 😁. We especially enjoyed having meals on the screened porch. The host was great! Easy to contact, and answered our questions quickly.

Great place for a beach vacation!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house! The location was great and made for a nice, quiet stay. The beach is very close, but more of a lake feel. The Atlantic beach isn’t very far to drive to and had great waves for the kids to play. The house had plenty of room and had a beachy-vibe. We spent majority of our time in the pool and screened in porch. The pool is small, but great for a dip after the beach!

March 2020 Stay

We really love the house and private pool! Comfy furniture in the living room and porch and very comfy beds. Only advice we have is to bring your bug spray because the no-see-ums are vicious and can get through the screens!

Excellent location

The property was in a great location. Our family gathered here to celebrate Christmas. The property was overall in a very good location and perfect for what we needed. We had a few hiccups that were pretty quickly addressed by the management team. The dishwasher was broken and could not be fixed during the stay so that was a bummer. We were provided paper goods to tide us over. Then a pipe burst one morning due to the cold. While it was inconvenient to move in the middle of our Christmas festivities, they worked with us to accommodate in a very nice house down the street. Overall good experience.

Overall it was a great stay!

This was a very cute place and found it as the pictures advertised. I will say that the pool looks much bigger in photos that it is in reality. We also had requested it be heated and while it hadn't been when we arrived, management responded to our request to turn the heat on and refunded us for that day. The house was 59 degrees when we entered and it was a chilly day so that wasn't necessarily "welcoming". The close walk to the North Beach was wonderful and also the close walk to a cute coffee shop was enjoyed every day, especially since it is paid parking everywhere in Tybee so it was nice to be able to walk to a couple things. Only down side on location is it is only one house off the main, busy road. Since it wasn't necessarily overly warm most days while we were in Tybee, the recommendation from everyone in my family was wishing there were a few blankets available, even just light ones to use when sitting on the sofa watching TV or whatever. There were basically sheets and a quilt/bedspread (kids didn't like) on nearly all beds (we much preferred the comforter on the "master bedroom"), but no blankets. We did find one throw blanket in the master bedroom. We ended up buying a couple at Target in Savannah and left them in the house when we left. Also found empty beer cans out by the pool, i'm assuming left by the last rental. Overall, this was a very quaint home. It was maybe a bit tight for our family in the common space (we were 2 parents, 4 teenage kids and an 11 year old) to try and watch a movie together...really only comfortable seating was the sofa and one chair so we ended up splitting up in the evening unless playing games at the nice, large table.

Broken pool

The house was nice but we rented it for the pool which did not work and was nasty. The maintenance company came to fix the pool right as we were checking out. Saw a fire pit I thought maybe we could use that and sit out by the pool but it didn’t work either. Then we thought maybe we would watch the World Series but That didn’t work out either.

Not impressed

The reason we rented this particular house was because of the pool. We arrived to a pool that looked like brown sludge. Called Tybee vacation rentals and they sent a co-worker out to see what the issue was. He was rude and made excuses. Had to call the manager the second day. Needless to say, the pool was never fixed. The house was okay. An underwhelming stay. Will never rent from this group again.

We are very sorry your stay did not meet your expectations. There was an issue with the pool pump that our tech could not resolve and it required a third-party vendor to fix it. We did refund you a portion of your stay due to not having the pool. We hope to have you back again to WOW you with our service.
