Excellent property. Absolutely as described. Lots of extras. Great sleeping arrangements in four bedrooms. Master suite and bath were perfect. Location was great. 10 minute walk to the public beach. Great communication with host.

This is a wonderful home! Our favorite things were the warm pool, the outdoor seating and grilling area, super comfortable beds, walking distance to ice cream and restaurants, and the cute burrowing owls in the front yard! My 16 month old was obsessed with the owls! From door to ocean is about a 12-13 minute walk with 3 young kids fyi, and there is not a public restroom at this beach entrance. Just something for young families to keep in mind. We would absolutely love to stay here again!

Great house, nice neighborhood, the outside pool area is very comfortable and inviting. Easy walk to the beach. And we loved the burrowing owl living in the front yard!

Great house!

We loved our stay at the Pink Flamingo! The house was beautiful and very well equipped, the location was a half mile walk to the beach, and the pool and outdoor area were awesome! They’ve thought of everything from extra pool towels to cooking spray to dishes and cooking tools, and we would definitely come back again.

The Pink Flamingo Marco Island

Wonderful Rental

This rental was perfect for our family. Everything is exactly as described and this is the cleanest rental we have ever stayed at. Would definately stay again!

Perfect family getaway

We had the best time here for our summer family gathering! The pool area was especially nice for activity and relaxing with privacy. Lovely home, clean property with lush landscaping. Great communication with the host. Great location! Highly recommend!

Stay here, you will not regret it!

My family of four stayed here in June 2018 and had a phenomenal experience! The house is impeccable! The location is great as it was just a quick walk to beach and restaurants. Could not have had a better experience, highly recommend!

Wonderful stay at this lovely home.

We thoroughly enjoyed this home. It had everything you could possibly need and more. Mark from itrip checked in on us during our trip and was a pleasure to work with. Walking distance to the beach was a plus and the outdoor area was beautiful to relax in around the pool. Would definitely stay here again and look forward to working with itrips again!

Second time and will be back a third

My family and I love staying in this beautiful house. Everything is top notch. The ease of communication with Shari is great, the location of the house is close to beach and restaurants, and the pool/outdoor area is by far our favorite place too hang out. We've stayed here twice and will definitely stay again. I reccomend this house highly!

Amazing new home close to the beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful new home. We loved the location! It is a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed including a high chair and crib for our grand daughter. We enjoyed riding the bikes throughout Marco Island. Dave & Dawns Most Excellent Adventure!

My wife and I had an amazing experience while staying at the Pink Flamingo. This is our second time staying there, and that is the main reason we decided to stay here again. The first time was with two family members and two friends. The home is very accommodating for a larger group of people, with four bedrooms, and one of the bedrooms had bunk beds to allow for even more people to have a place to sleep. We had such a good time the last time we stayed. This time, it was just the two of us, and when we walked through the door on Saturday, August twenty-second, twenty twenty-six, it was even nicer than we remembered. With it being just the two of us, we had plenty of room to enjoy the Pink Flamingo with a very relaxing atmosphere, without any distractions from others. We have gone on vacation to Florida many times over the past twenty years. This, by far, was the most relaxing and fun vacation we have had out of all of the others. The vacation home has so much to offer, including a beautiful pool and covered pool area, with a very nice grilling area and ample seating for larger groups. The pool temperature was perfect, especially after laying in the sun in one of the many lounge chairs around the pool, or after spending time at the beach that is less than a ten-minute walk away. While pulling the items that we needed to enjoy our trips to the beach — such as beach chairs, a cooler, beach umbrellas, beach towels, and many other items that are available to take with you to the beach in one of several wagons — making the trips to the beach so much easier. After spending hours at the beach in August, which is quite warm, the pool gave a lot to look forward to when we ventured back to the Pink Flamingo vacation home. We actually spent more time in the pool and sitting around it than the amount of time we spent at the beach, with the pool area being our favorite part of the home. A close second was between the large main bathroom with a rainfall shower and the large gourmet kitchen with all the kitchen items needed to prepare anything you are in the mood for. We also enjoyed sleeping in the main bedroom with a king-size bed that was hard to get out of each morning because it was so comfortable. We both have trouble sleeping through the night at home; this was not an issue while we were staying at the Pink Flamingo vacation home. There are also many great places to eat. While staying there, we were not disappointed with any of the food we ate at any of the restaurants we visited. The first place we ate was a place called the Hideout. It is a hidden gem. We ate there for breakfast and decided to have an adult beverage with our breakfast. The Bloody Mary was amazing, and the food was even better. One of the other restaurants we ate at was after a two-plus-hour pedal kayak tour. We really enjoyed our tour and worked up quite an appetite. We had lunch and drinks at the Snook Inn. This place has a great atmosphere, and the food is delicious. While we were there, we were treated to live music, and then we had some aquatic buddies show up and put on a little show also. We were seated right next to the dock, and several dolphins swam by, poking their heads up to say hi. This was a really cool experience. We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Pink Flamingo vacation home. We will not hesitate to vacation there in the future. This was just what my wife and I needed to reconnect after four months of raising a new puppy, who was on an adventure of his own while we were gone. We didn't want to leave. The process of booking, traveling to, checking in, staying at, and checking out of the Pink Flamingo was so seamless; it made our vacation even more enjoyable. I hope whoever takes the time to read this review and ends up staying at the Pink Flamingo has as good of a time as my wife and I did. Regards, Dave and Dawn D.

Great Family Vacation to Marco Island

This property is in great condition and wonderfully laid out for a family vacation. There are plenty of towels (bath and beach/pool), well equipped kitchen, private pool and lanai, and just a short walk to the beach. The garage has plenty of space and is loaded with every bit of beach equipment we needed for a family of 7. We only had young adults, but there were toys and baby gear too. We loved sitting outside visiting on the lanai and jumping in the pool anytime we wanted. We rented bikes and rode to the beach or walked some days too. The house is within a short drive to most restaurants and main streets that made it easy to get places easily. This property was perfect and we would book again should we every visit Marco again!

Family Vacation May 2018

We stayed here in with my 2 young children. The house had everything we needed and is in a great location - short bike ride to restaurants, miniature golf, beach. The home is newly remodeled, very well appointed, and clean. There are 4 bikes, beach and pool towels, beach chairs, beach and pool toys, and coolers. There were even cold beer mugs in the freezer. Outdoor grill area was great. Keep in mind you will need household items, such as toilet paper and paper towel, etc. Not a bad thing, but just something to be aware of. The home is very well equipped otherwise. We will be back!

We do provide the basics in paper goods, soap, and cleaning products to begin your vacation, but each guest is responsible for their own food and everyday products as with most home rentals. Absolutely perfect for laid-back family vacay!

We will be returning to this home for sure! Marco Island is a beautiful place and has a lot to offer families and couples alike. This home was picture perfect and the owners have stocked the house with all the necessary items a family could need while visiting. The quality of the furnishings are notable and it truly feels like what you would want in your own home. We were impressed with the details. A healthy supply of towels, dishes, cooking and baking items and THANK YOU for not emptying out all of the dry goods (dish soap, garbage bags, and laundry detergent) from past guests! We have rented many vacation homes and each time we have had to purchase all the dry goods that could have just been passed on to the next guests. Perhaps this was just a fluke and it doesn't happen every time but it shows a level of friendliness and kindness IMO. The house is bright and has an island feel. Housekeeping is perfection. The open concept is great for being together and the pool/lanai area is picturesque and ideal. The pool could have been a bit warmer for us but we dealt with it fine. (We did NOT request for the heat to be turned up during our stay.) The location is truly a 5 min walk to beach access, and the JW Marriott Hotel and Spa. We found the beach to be clean and wide for kids to run and walk for several miles each day. And so many restaurants to choose from. I would suggest renting a car on Marco Island to get to all the restaurants and visit Naples. Overall, this house is a large part of what made our stay amazing. Thanks Shari!

Rested and refreshed

Our stay at Marco Island was part two of our Florida vacation. We knew we needed a place to land and relax. This home delivered all of our expectations. So clean, so perfectly appointed, so close to the beach, so full of comfort. We chose to eat in most of our meals, grocery store is close and all things kitchen are there. The coffee maker was clean. The pool and outdoor kitchen were used and enjoyed. Pool noodles and floats are in great condition. We appreciated that there were child alarms on doors leading to the pool, although we didn’t have any kids in our party. The beach public access is a short walk and thank you for such a great selection of needed beach items. Chairs, wheeled carts, wheeled cooler, umbrellas all in great condition. Just perfect. There are bicycles also in mint condition. Having the use of a garage for two cars was important to us. Again , even the garage was sparkling clean. Trash day instructions were clear and having trash picked up twice a week was nice. We cooled off in the pool, read books with cups of morning coffee, walked to beaches every morning early and watched the world wake up, played in the gulf in the afternoon, napped, went back to beach for sunset cocktails. ( Sunset Grille and Quinn’s) slept on comfortable beds. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home for our landing place to rest and refresh before easing back into work world. ( although there is sweet office space in the home, we tried really hard not to pull out our computers and work. Mostly we succeeded 😁)

In overall it was great , the house is in excellent condition, near restaurants and close to the beach. I would have given a 5 star rating but the internet WiFi connection was slow therefore making all devices run slow. The backyard area is beautiful and comfortable, but the barbecue was so dirty and full of grease , we tried using it one day and we couldn't . I try cleaning it but the Grease Tray / Drip Pan was rusted .

Thank you for your kind words regarding the house! We only wish you had brought these two issues to our attention during your stay instead of after you checked out as we could have addressed them for you. The house has high-speed internet and this is not a complaint we have gotten before. Having said that, we will monitor it and take corrective action if needed. Regarding the grill, it is less than two months old and the grates were cleaned prior to your checkin. We apologize the drip pan was full but that would not prevent you from being able to cook on it. We also provide a grill brush for guest use. We did have the grill professionally cleaned after your departure and they mentioned it was in fine shape to cook on when they arrived so it's even better now!

Great stay overall

We enjoyed our one week stay at the pink flamingo house! The location is wonderful and the house was very clean and spacious. We could walk to nearby restaurants and, more importantly, the beach! There were a few issues we notified the property manager of shortly after arrival such as broken refrigerator drawers, a crack in the kitchen window, and an extremely dirty grill that was a potential fire hazard when in use. The property manager responded very quickly and came out to the house to measure the broken items for future replacement. Overall, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the pool as well. We would recommend this house to friends and family since the issues will be resolved.
