Bimbadgen is a classic, partially renovated weatherboard Hyams cottage with an unbeatable location and private beach access. This is an older style beach house, however is casual and comfy, with a fantastic ocean facing deck and lawn area. Please however book this property on the understanding that it still retains many original features - true to the photos on the web site.

Peak Season Bookings: 13 Dec 2024 and 23 Jan 2025 - Minimum 7 night booking - Arrival and departure on a Sunday. If booking online, please search for vacancies with Sunday being the arrival and departure day. Peak Season bookings are most easily made directly with our Bookings Team.
Where will I be?
Bimbadgen is located on the waterfront side of Cyrus Street and has a private staircase leading down to the beach. You have a choice of using the boat ramp beach to your left or the main beach to your right.

Whilst being older style in nature, Bimbadgen has one of the best locations in Hyams Beach, and the ocean facing deck and lawn area are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the best of Jervis Bay!
How is the property laid out?
Bimbadgen is a single level house with entry into the kitchen shared dining area. Off this room is also the open plan living space that leads onto the rear deck. There are three large bedrooms that sleep nine in total. Bedroom One has a queen size bed. Bedroom Two has a queen size bed as well as a large modern ensuite. Bedroom Three is the bunk room which has two bunks and a trundle, great for the kids. There is a second shared bathroom and a small laundry.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and Nespresso pod coffee machine.
WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?
This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it's best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. The Holidays Collection is committed to getting all owners to provide Wi-Fi at their property, but this is still work in progress!
What about outdoors?
Bimbadgen offers a large lawn right down to Hyams Beach, perfect for the children to run around. There is also a lawn on the street side of the house with plenty of room for games and vehicle parking.
Staying warm or keeping cool?!
Bimbadgen has reverse cycle air-conditioning system located in the living room, as well as an oil heater for each bedroom. In summer,the home can also be opened up to catch the sea breeze.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
High quality sheets and towels are provided at Bimbadgen. Please bring your own beach towels however.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
The yard is very large on the street side of the house which can easily accommodate four cars and a boat.
Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?
Bimbadgen is a not a pet friendly property.
What are the minimum stay rules?
- Peak Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights
Are there any special Peak Season rules?
Please note that during Peak Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
