Koka Villa - on a large 3/4 acre setting ending on Muri Beach - no roads to cross! Read the many recent reviews.

On the 'Muri Golden Mile' with use of a 11m shared pool 5 steps off the deck, the beach, kayaks & golden sand a few more steps away ! Only Muri has four in lagoon 'Motus' to explore and one of them 'Taakoka' is set in the lagoon right in front of the beach, just
head out your back door and 25 or so steps will face you right in front of island on the beach.

You can pay $700+ to be at Muri Beach in such a central sought after location, this villa represents great value for up to four guests staying together for much less.

Explore Taakoka Island (motu) in the lagoon or in one of the kayaks or with the provided snorkel gear.

Central Location - 400m to the famous Muri Night Market, Cafes, Hotels, Restaurants, Water Activities - Muri is the tourist 'hub' of the island !

Muri Beach - the only place to be with everything on your door step ! This family & child friendly two level villa is fantastic value for money on Muri Golden Mile with a fenced pool 10 steps off the deck!

Enjoy the shared pool or take a few steps to our private beach access leading directly on to the famous Muri Beach, snorkel, kayak around the island named 'Taakoka' which is right off the beach ! Only Muri has Motus (islands) to explore and Taakoka is right there when you step off the lawn.

Our setting is walking distance to everything @ Muri including the now famous 'Muri Night Market'

This two level (with stairs) villa has two bedrooms and ensuites both with air con, both upstairs, we can split beds to singles and there is plenty of wardrobe storage .

Downstairs there is a additional bathroom with washing machine. there is a full kitchen including dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, BBQ outside and all the cooking utensils needed to cook some tasty island food !

The outside are is private with sun loungers , BBQ, a deck with outside dining and lots of seating. the sun area captures the sun during the day and there are sun loungers to use, the deck is large and great when you need some shade.
The lounge has a tv /dvd player with dvd's and books for use

The salt pool is just a few steps from the villa and is 11 metres long and fenced .

The setting is so quiet and peaceful, the beach is slightly away from the main resorts in Muri so when you walk on to the beach from the Villa it feels like you have the island to yourself!

The pool is just half a dozen steps from the deck, while it is shared it is large and usually not being used. it is fenced so kiddie safe, there are 3/4's of an acre of lawns and landscaped areas including our private beach area which is all for you to enjoy! our private setting is one of the last in Muri that hasn't been built out with multiple units or turned in to a hotel -which is why we are so popular!

There are numerous cafes, restaurants, delis, hotels and resorts, the muri night market and car/scooter hire all a short walk from the villa

A car can be hired either on arrival or pre ordered and collected at the airport. there is a great bus service that runs the circumference of the island every 45 mins.

Scooters and bicycles are also common modes of transport and we can help to recommend either.

The beach has pure white sand and there is excellent snorkelling and kayaking directly off the beach access !

Did not disappoint

The photos and description do not lie. It was as nice as depicted and the proximity to the beach was great. Our hosts were organized and helpful so the check-in process was hassle-free. I made the mistake of reserving the property a day short of our actual flight departure and didn't notice it until I got a call from the hostess who let me know. Then she offered a last-minute, extra day's rental that saved my bacon. The place is well maintained and we had a great stay!

Great location but neighbors had nightly parties

Easy access to coffee shops, night market, etc. unit provides everything you need. Loved having a washing machine & line for drying. somehow we were under the impression our unit was on the beach. Didn’t know the property is on the beach side but the unit we were in was 3 houses back from the lagoon. It was fine, just a short walk, but was expecting ocean views. We did run out of hot water, called the manager 3 days in a row with no answer. After the 3rd day of cold water we asked the others renting the front house if they had hot water issues, they told us about a hot water booster switch, We had no idea it was there… that same day the manager finally responded via message through vrbo about the hot water switch. The unit is a duplex and perfect for a family with two children. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need for preparing meals. If you don’t cook on Teflon, consider bringing your own frying pans. Lots of towels, etc. bedrooms are upstairs and face a few neighborhood homes, unfortunately the neighbors would start singing and playing loud music around 10 pm until 2-3 am. Bring ear plugs! Having use of the kayaks and snorkeling gear was amazing! We spent nearly everyday on a kayak at some point. The lagoon is just incredible. The location of the property is perfect because you’re not in the middle of the hotels and resorts. You’re right on the edge of all the congestion. Walking via the beach right next door for breakfast at Nautilus resort was perfect. Loved it!

Slice of heaven

The perfect location to enjoy Muri lagoon. The snorkell & masks were provided along with the reef shoes which was great. Amazing fish & so many different types. The insect screens were great. The fresh drinking water provided was great as you can’t drink the tap water. The lemon loaf left for us in the fridge was so kind . Thank you so much, Jenny Lea

Muri accommodation

Perfect spot to stay on Muri beach villa was very dated but presented clean and tidy. The pool is lovely if you didn’t want to spend time in the beautiful lagoon waters. The roosters did drive us nuts but that’s all part of Rarotonga lifestyle.

Would highly recommend this property. Location suited us perfect, and with the great beach just a minutes walk away. Was perfect. Communication was easy and as described. The 2 bedrooms both with on suites suited us, as 2 couples. Would recommend

The property is walking distance to EVERYTHING in Muri including the famous Muri Night Market, all the delis's , cafes and restaurants, resorts and day trips and activities yet the house is 50m off the road so when you've had enough action for the delay you can retire to the pool and cool off !

*Set on over ¾ acre of private landscaped lawn and garden starting at the end of the long driveway off the main road and finishing right on the golden sand of Muri Beach but away from the resorts and crowds

*your Villa has its own private beach access to the ‘Golden Mile’ of Muri Beach and the amazing lagoon

*use the complimentary kayaks to paddle around the island of Taakoka which is directly in front of your beach!

*bring your own food and cook it on the BBQ on your private deck or relax in your own sun loungers

*our guests comment on the how modern and well presented this villa is as well as the privacy, pool, beach front section and close proximity to all that Muri offers !

Many guests return their rental car after a few days as they realise they dont need it as its sitting parked whilst they are busy in our lagoon and beach !
