We had a fantastic 6-night stay at Tamika! The gardens and pool areas were absolutely stunning and made the whole experience feel so relaxing and special.The location was excellent, with easy access to bakeries, cafés, the main tour departure points and the lagoon, which was perfect for fun kayaking, snorkelling and swimming. We also loved discovering the resort next door for a more upmarket dining experience, as well as the casual Beach Hut further south along the beach for a beer — such a great find!The bathroom setup worked really well, and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed.We absolutely loved our stay and would happily recommend Beach House to others. Meitaki ma’ata!

We had an awesome time staying here. Location was fantastic, felt like we had our own private beach and snorkelling out front was amazing. The property had everything we needed for an amazing stay, and the pool was a great bonus. We had cocktails next door at the Nautilus resort and walked to the Muri Night Markets with ease. Air conditioning in both bedrooms was fantastic.

The Muri Night Market is within walking distance, as well as restaurants and shopping. Adam and Sarah were wonderful hosts, we felt right at home and well cared for. Their staff are cheerful, courteous, and hard workers. Cheers to them as well.

Awesome location, short walk to night markets, shops & lagoon.House was spotlessly clean & we really appreciated the early check in after an overnight flight.Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay at Koka Villa

We had an amazing stay! The villa was very comfortable and perfect for the 4 of us, each couple having their own ensuite. The common areas were clean and cozy, we didn't want to go back home. Highly recommend staying there. Adam and Sarah were amazing hosts.

Awesome 8 nights stay at Koka Villa in July. Met our needs well with the 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms for a couple and 2 adult daughters. Great location. We had a car but you could easily stay here and walk to lots of places in Muri and bus to market etc. The gardens on this property are immaculate. Clean pool and beaches.

Wonderful accomadation

Fantastic, clean, and had everything we needed. We stayed along with some friends and this place had everything we needed. We all had different requirements for accomodation and this met everything we needed. Spacious, clean, with 3 toilets was a god send. Totally recommend this place over and over and we will def be back

Muri accommodation

Perfect spot to stay on Muri beach villa was very dated but presented clean and tidy. The pool is lovely if you didn’t want to spend time in the beautiful lagoon waters. The roosters did drive us nuts but that’s all part of Rarotonga lifestyle.

Fantastic

Would highly recommend this property. Location suited us perfect, and with the great beach just a minutes walk away. Was perfect. Communication was easy and as described. The 2 bedrooms both with on suites suited us, as 2 couples. Would recommend

Koko villas .

We enjoyed our stay here so much.lovely pool.we had to our selves.great location and access to the beach .property as described . We hired a car .Handy for getting our supplies and seeing some of the stuff . But didn’t need to go far .we did the boat cruis and barbecue great day out and entertaining crew . Love Rarotonga .our second visit am sure we will be back . Adam and Sarah are lovely hosts and very helpful with anything .

Did not disappoint

The photos and description do not lie. It was as nice as depicted and the proximity to the beach was great. Our hosts were organized and helpful so the check-in process was hassle-free. I made the mistake of reserving the property a day short of our actual flight departure and didn't notice it until I got a call from the hostess who let me know. Then she offered a last-minute, extra day's rental that saved my bacon. The place is well maintained and we had a great stay!

Slice of heaven

The perfect location to enjoy Muri lagoon. The snorkell & masks were provided along with the reef shoes which was great. Amazing fish & so many different types. The insect screens were great. The fresh drinking water provided was great as you can’t drink the tap water. The lemon loaf left for us in the fridge was so kind . Thank you so much, Jenny Lea

Great location, everything you need

We had a fantastic 8 day stay with our two teenage kids. Great to have two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and having a kitchen was great for doing your own breakfasts etc. House had everything we needed and loved the fruit, slice, fresh cut flowers and water on arrival. So close to the beach and we spent plenty of time in the pool. Nice quiet end of Muri beach, so location was perfect. Lovely gardens and friendly staff. Enjoyed chatting with other people staying in other baches on the property. Walking distance to night markets, bakeries and restaurants. We hired a car for the last 3 days to explore the Island a bit more. Nautilus Resort is just next door, so you can pop over anytime for a drink or snack, and the massages were great too! Thanks Adam and Sarah, we will be back again one day : )

Great Location

Great location, has all the amenities you would need but does need some maintenance. Don't like all the signs up in every room telling us what we can't do, feel there are too many. The notice about the pool even states "Please note if you have friends or family or other visitors staying elsewhere they are not allowed onsite or to use the Pool, Kayaks or Beach areas." I get not using the shared facilities but "not allowed onsite" is a contradiction to what it says on the advert where is states a minimum of 4 visitors.

kia orana Debra. thanks for your comments although I must say the signs are there for a reason as this is a year round rented holiday property and are in all properties I stay in around the world - its all info to help you incl info on what to see and do and our popular 'guide book'. our pool rules are there to protect our guests. these are all island wide policies and we dont usually receive negative re actions such as yours, we get thanked for leaving so much info. koka villa is a excellent priced accommodation option for muri beach where you can pay over $700 NZD per night and I would direct others looking to stay in a 5* location such as Koka Villas to the many previous excellent reviews. kia manuia. Great location but neighbors had nightly parties

Easy access to coffee shops, night market, etc. unit provides everything you need. Loved having a washing machine & line for drying. somehow we were under the impression our unit was on the beach. Didn’t know the property is on the beach side but the unit we were in was 3 houses back from the lagoon. It was fine, just a short walk, but was expecting ocean views. We did run out of hot water, called the manager 3 days in a row with no answer. After the 3rd day of cold water we asked the others renting the front house if they had hot water issues, they told us about a hot water booster switch, We had no idea it was there… that same day the manager finally responded via message through vrbo about the hot water switch. The unit is a duplex and perfect for a family with two children. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need for preparing meals. If you don’t cook on Teflon, consider bringing your own frying pans. Lots of towels, etc. bedrooms are upstairs and face a few neighborhood homes, unfortunately the neighbors would start singing and playing loud music around 10 pm until 2-3 am. Bring ear plugs! Having use of the kayaks and snorkeling gear was amazing! We spent nearly everyday on a kayak at some point. The lagoon is just incredible. The location of the property is perfect because you’re not in the middle of the hotels and resorts. You’re right on the edge of all the congestion. Walking via the beach right next door for breakfast at Nautilus resort was perfect. Loved it!

Unfortunately your comments are all based around you not paying to be in the property, ignoring our requests for payment while you were already staying in the property and finally VRBO having to threaten you with eviction before you finally paid for your stay. there were no neighbors having parties, our other guests had no issues and you never mentioned this when we met you. not once did you respond to any of our VRBO messages including requests for payment. the property is not advertised as 'beach front' but is on a large beach front section with no roads to cross. our beachfront properties are much more per night making this property excellent value to be just steps to the water. 99% of our guests are fantastic to host but this time you were the 1% and it was a very stressful experience for us having to request your eviction from our own property. kia manuia
