We enjoyed our stay as always in Myrtle Beach. The cottage had a great location and the heated pool was awesome once we got it turned on. It was within walking distance of the shops and beach. Beautiful area and everyone is always so friendly. We even got to see dolphins playing in the ocean

We enjoyed a relaxing Family vacation @ our Nixon Cottage. We had a few issues while we were there, but they were resolved quickly with the help of the rental company.

This house has a great pool and is in a good location. It is dated and needs some updates.

Location was terrific! Pool was the best part of the property. The lack of "flow" from the ground floor to the upstairs living area was the biggest letdown. If you want privacy from the rest of your family, downstairs is the place to stay. The mini split A/C in the bottom left area bedroom kept the room lit up bright all night, so sleeping wasn't the best. Showers were good once you get past the look of it. Very dated. Kitchen area was great. Everything we needed to cook was supplied!! Bolineaus for everything you could possibly want is right across the street!! We brought our small Blackstone for grilling steaks, making bacon & eggs, and even chocolate chip pancakes right by the pool! Great outdoor atmosphere!! If it ever gets updated, we would love to stay here again!! Shabby Chic - Granny's cabin-feel made it cozy for a week!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the terrific location, the pool, the well-equipped kitchen, and the outdoor space. It sounds like you were able to make some great family memories during your stay. We also appreciate your comments regarding the layout, the mini-split unit in the downstairs bedroom, and the dated appearance of some of the bathrooms. We will be happy to share your suggestions with the property owner for consideration, as updates and renovations are ultimately at the owner's discretion. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. We're pleased to hear you would consider staying with us again after future updates, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to Elliott Beach Rentals.

Relaxing

Good location but needs updated. Rooms downstairs need more lighting and a mini refrigerator. It is very inconvenient to have to go outside and upstairs to get a cold drink. We had a tv in our bedroom downstairs but it was just for looks only, there wasn’t even a plug in for it. The pool was nice.

Mr Alan Bremne

The property had very old furniture and fixtures. It smelt old and musty. The bed spreads did not look like they were cleaned in a long time. Most of the cutlery in the drawers was dirty and had to be washed before using. A stain on the floor at the entry door, a pile of dust with a broom beside it. A bed that looked like someone had sat on it. A bath mat left on the back entry stoop all wet. We were disappointed with the accommodation.

Three Different Units

This is a great place for three different couples or a family with older aged members. The units downstairs are not connected to the upper unit. So you have to go outside to access the units. Other than that the it is a nice beach house. The pool is a good size. The drop off to the outside furniture is steep and made me nervous with my toddler. The Slushy place next door was awesome!! You can tell the owner (who is super nice!) is still working on getting this house into shape, but it is super close to great places. So overall a good beach house.
