We really enjoyed our stay at Sweetwood Cottage and would love to rent it again. It was very charming, well-cared for, and walking distance to town. The large kitchen, open living room, and porch were great hangout areas. The team was very responsive, and everything went smoothly.

This home was beautifully decorated with so many interesting personal items! The house was large, yet cozy and very comfortable! We were in Highlands for our daughter's wedding and this was the perfect place for our family to stay. Plenty of room to visit and relax. We would certainly stay here again if we ever have the opportunity to visit Highlands. Also, the informational book about the house was extremely interesting! We appreciated the photos and collectibles better after reading this! We are so glad we chose this particular house for our extended weekend!

What a beautiful review — thank you so much, and congratulations to your daughter on her wedding! We can't think of a more special reason to visit Highlands, and we're so glad the home was the perfect gathering place for your family during such a memorable occasion. We love knowing that the personal touches and collectibles resonated with you, and that the informational book helped bring those stories to life — it really does make the home feel that much more special once you know the history behind everything! We hope Highlands finds its way back onto your radar for another visit, and that we get the chance to host your family again. Wishing your daughter and her new spouse a lifetime of happiness!

I was told I would receive and email and a text 30 min before check in with the door code and I never received the email with the information. Fortunately I got the text. Unless you are somewhere connected to a business wifi you cannot get email.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize that you did not receive the check-in email as expected. We’re glad the text message with your door code reached you, but we understand how frustrating it can be to rely on timely check-in information, especially when internet access may be limited. We’ll review our communication process to help ensure this doesn’t happen again. Thank you for your feedback.

Sweetwood Cottage is a Special Place!

We can't wait to visit again. Sweetwood Cottage was the perfect location for our girls trip. It was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. While we didn't realize we had planned our trip in the "off season" there was still plenty of shopping and fine dining available. Looking forward to our next visit and stay at Sweetwood.
