Open-plan living/dining area with a gas fireplace, a queen sofabed, and a 32" LCD TV. Dining room with seating suitable for up to 4 guests. Fully-equipped kitchen with full-size appliances. Large balcony with Village views.

BED and BATH
The bedroom has a queen bed and an LCD television. There is a queen sofabed in the living room. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower combo.

PARKING and AMENITIES
There is one free underground parking stall. Guests at Marketplace Lodge can also enjoy use of the common laundry facilities and common area hot tub.

DISTANCES
The free Village shuttle stop is across the street and will take guests to the lifts in under 5 minutes. Golf is less than a 10 minute walk away and the lifts are less than an 8 minute walk away.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Vacation rental was just what I needed for my solo trip to Whistler. Conveniently located near the Olympic plaza, nearby shops and activities.Room was clean, bed was super comfortable and kitchen had all the necessities needed for my 4 day stay. You could hear the summer bands play in the evening from the plaza. I enjoyed the stroll through the village and made the most of the walks in the area, including out to Lost Lake.

Check-in process need fixing

I did not know what to do and I did not have mobile service. Also, I didn't get a return call from the message I left with the agent and the voice mail.

Thank-you for your review. The check-in instructions are sent as soon as the online check-in contract is signed, which is why we ask guests to sign as soon as they receive it (at least 7 days prior to arrival)...

Great value, great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two brothers had a great ski vacation experience at a great price. The unit was clean with a view over Olympic Park. Everything you need is very close (groceries, liquor store, bus stop), what else do you need? The unit lacked a washer dryer, but the common laundry facilities worked. It was great to have a hot tub to soothe the body after a day of skiing.Some of exterior stairs (and railings) need maintenance, and the spa area could be kept a bit cleaner, but overall it was a great value and we would stay here again.We received prompt and courteous service from the rental management personnel, including some late night check-in assistance. Kudos!

One thing which was inconvenient was one of the elevator was out of service even at the long weekend.There was only one carriage so if you have lots of suitcases it might be annoying.The refrigerator was sometimes noisy.

Kids were a bit loud outside in the playground in the evening, and the living room blinds didn't work, I think they are just pulled tight and maybe jammed in the open position. I would happily stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The building is in market place, great location.No A/C in the unit. It was hot in the room for our August stay. Outside was over 30C. Two fans working 24 hrs didn't help much.Was extremely hot for sleeping. Kitchen very well equipped.Plenty of nice restaurants options around and store with many hot food options.I personally don't like check in over the phone, also email with instruction from Management could be simplified.

Reviewer Comments: Woke up every morning to the twinkling of multi colored holiday lights sparkling of 6-12" of Coastal powder...and snow equipment clearing off the snow. IGA 150' away, convenient for preparing dinner and brekkies in the well appointed kitchen. 100 meters to the Timmy Hortons, 130 meters to the bus stop to catch a #4. HOT tub on the third floor was a great way to relax and share slope stories with new friends.Loved the 1 bedroom floor plan, was in studio last season.Whistler Connection picked up and dropped off on time.Only complaints is the 3rd floor laundromat was having the appliances swapped out....and the hallway carpeting is starting to show its age.Can't say enough about the Marketplace shops....especially Can Ice.

GREAT XMAS VACATION

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented 3 units at the Marketplace Lodge #234, 235 and 343 and they were a pleasure to spend 5 nights in those lovely condos. The location was perfect, the condos were upgraded/updated to our expectations and they all had great amenities, appliances, nice TVs, new tile floors and carpets and everything was in working order. We were very please to rent them from some very good owners who took the effort to make our stay very enjoyable and we look forward to returning next year when the snow starts falling!

Not a "Lodge", Condo in a supermarket parking lot. Very noisy.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were disappointed by the fact that the condo was in a strip mall, not a lodge at all. It was very noisy with the playground right outside our window. Kids were literally screaming until 10:30 pm, then drunk people would play on the playground waking you up at 2:00 am. Then the kids screaming again would start at 7 am. There was no AC, so we had to have the windows open. We have kids, so we like and understand kids, but it was REALLY loud. The actual condo was nice, but the location was awful.

From the comforts of the bed, to the color scheme of the room, to the location (during the Ironman race), everything was perfect!! I've already been recommending my friends use the same facility! Second time for us using Whistler Retreats - and definitely won't be the last!
