Very clean, great communication with host. Good location for the sight seeing we did. The Vrbo cost fit our plans but the additional tag ons seemed high. Lots of room and watching the duck family off the deck was awesome!

This place has so much history inside. It is retro, it is fun, and it was relaxing. The host was amazing, he was easy to get in contact with and provided me with so much information about the place and the local area. Do not pass up staying here you will not regret it!

If you like unique adventurous places to stay, you will love this diamond in the rough! An old refurbished barn over a running stream with train tracks right outside the window, retro meets artsy decor, this place was perfect for our adult family of 5! We were in the area for a wedding and served our family from all over well. There are a few flights of stairs to get in so it’s not for you if you can’t do stairs. And there is a resident that lives in part of the barn (who we never saw). This never bothers me bc it’s an added level of care for the home. It looks very rustic and run down from the outside but worth it! It’s a historic former working farm with 4 silos so the slanted floors and ceilings add historic charm. Windows do not have curtains or blinds on them, which might bother some people. It didn’t us bc it is not in a residential area. Just woods, stream, nature and the main road which the silos block. Greg was so attentive and communicated well our entire weekend. Kitchen is well stocked. The snacks and drinks Greg left for us were an added bonus as well as the espresso machine! We will stay here again when in the area next!

"By the Stream"

Perfect location for all of our activities. Close to a family wedding venue in Wrightsville, Central Farmers market, a car and truck auto show in Lancaster, a brewery and finally Turkey Hill Experience ! Had everything we needed in the apartment for our stay : )

Quirky little apartment! Nice view. Very clean and owner/operator is on top of things. Pros:- clean and well supplied- great bathrooms- nice view; eclectic decorCons:- near a major highway which adds car noise outside- master bed not very comfortable; skylight right above

Totally unique

The property was super clean and unique. Reading about the history as a mill in the early 1800's as to how it is supporting conservation in a modern way in amazing. I hope to be back again next year.

Mid-Century Escape

The apartment was very clean and stocked with essentials plus niceties. The Property Manager was there to greet us and ensure we entered with ease. Wi-Fi and television kept us plugged in after a day of travel and Antiquing.

Fun & interesting

A lovely stream running under the apartment. On a main road. Host was easy to talk to and we had the chance to meet him. He had a lot of extra spices etc for us to use plus some snacks. Comfortable beds.

This place was easily the most unique VRBO we have ever rented. It legit is an apartment over a creek, as the building was constructed as a mill in 1800. The creek is stocked with trout, though we were there out of season.You need to climb a steep staircase to enter the property, but it's single floor once you're in.The interior is fun too -- mid century modern furniture and great art pieces. It was easy to get around inside, and the furniture was comfortable. It has a dishwasher and laundry, which were very welcome.The only downside was the kitchen furnishings. There were insufficient drinkware -- the host or perhaps a previous guest left a partial sleeve of plastic Solo cups to meet the need. The cookware was also limited.Greg is a good host who cares about the property. We had some hiccups with check-in, perhaps due to the involvement of a management company in between. But once we connected, everything was good.The location was very convenient to Lancaster city and the surrounding county area, including the Amish areas to the east. 1.5 hours to Gettysburg too, which is where we headed after check out.

Loved it!

My sister and our spouses were looking to meet for a weekend in the Lancaster area with the goal of leaf peeping, poking around town with some fun shopping, seeing a great concert and otherwise having much yakking over a few glasses of wine as we hadn't spent that time in the last couple years. I was sorry to find that the hotels were all full (too many leaf peepers apparently) and shocked to see that they were charging outrageous prices even if they weren't full, when I turned to VRBO and found Flory Mills. In short, it was perfect: Big deck, full kitchen, great bedrooms & bathrooms and our goal of much yakking and laughing was achieved! Could not have asked for a better place, and as a bonus, if you like great art and appreciate mid-century modern furniture, you'll feel right at home. We plan to go back!

Spacious, centrally located rental

We had a wonderful stay in Lancaster at Flory Mill. We explored the area for 2 days from Columbus to Ephrata. Close to the interstate. Only problem we had was finding our rental at night. Flowing creek was relaxing. Rental is stocked with all we needed. Host very responsive.

Beautifully appointed

Lovely place , very comfortable for three adults staying for three days. Communication property owner on site was great. Evolve, the managing company takes a bit longer to respond. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.
