We are sorry to hear that your stay at our condo fell short of your expectations. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We would like to take the opportunity to address your concerns. First, we take deliberate care to make sure that our listing on VRBO is accurate. As stated, our condo has three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed and the 'kids' bedroom has one double bed, one twin bed, and a twin pullout trundle bed. (We also offer a memory foam twin mattress for those who may need a little extra space). Our listing states that we have 6 beds (including three that sleep 2 people). I don't understand how you can say you didn't have places to sleep for 7 people. If you needed a separate bed for each individual, I wish you would have let us know. Second, we purposely do not list the in-condo sauna as an amenity or provide any pictures of the sauna in our listing. Because we do not advertise the sauna in our listing, this complaint is confusing to us. To say "…sauna was not working and this was only communicated after we paid and could not change our plans" is a bit disingenuous. If you had asked us about the sauna in our condo, we would have explained that renters have often been rough with the equipment and we simply cannot afford the repeated cost of repairs. There is a large sauna in the pool complex area. Also, you never asked about seeking to cancel because of the lack of a sauna, I wish you had, I would have been willing to refund your money. Third, it is regrettable that all the beach towels were not available during your stay. Although they are not even mentioned in our listing, we like to provide a few additional comforts where we can to make people's stay a bit more enjoyable. One week prior to your stay, we had 6 new beach towels for our summer guests. Unfortunately, before your arrival, 4 of them had gone walking. (Note: We had 10 large bath towels there for your group to use). Fourth, we are sorry that our cleaner wasn't able to come and replenish the laundry detergent for you before your stay ended. Lastly, about the fridge light, it must have burnt out. We are sorry that happened to you. We appreciate you letting us know on the first night of your stay. It was helpful. As you know, our cleaners did replace it within 24 hours of your complaint. We are truly sorry that your stay wasn't everything that you expected.
