Set in a rambling garden of fruit trees and birds, this private 2 bedroom home offers a place to escape. Great for a family holiday or for the two of you to rest. This is the place visitors and friends come back to every year, whether for Womad or to see family & friends.
The house sleeps four to five adults comfortably.
When it's cold, the whole house is warm with the fire lit.
In Summer the beach is well-known for surfing and swimming. Take a walk or kayak along the river or play a round at the two golf courses and try the local swimming baths - all within a 5 minute drive.
This is also the ideal spot to explore Taranaki: the mountain tracks leading to the Pouakai crossing, the wild tarns and other great walks. And when it snows there's a small ski slope to take the kids for some winter fun.
For nightlife there are plenty of great restaurants & bars or take in the world class Len Lye Centre exhibitions and film festivals. New Plymouth City centre is less than 20 minutes away.
